Started magic arrow this season too. No Mavs, 11-12k at 8 frames. +6 Melody mat bow, +3 circlet, 2/20 arrows and gloves etc. Heavenly garb on A2 AR merc for sanc.
Pierce and crit do not do anything for magic arrow. So does amp and might from your merc. Consider using something with sanc aura. Prayer alot provide life on hit which is great with magic arrow
Oh for sure Sanc would be much more beneficial. Any crit or DS is just for whatever's left for the phys dmg you do after the magic conversion--it's very very very low and definitely not worth it in the grand scheme. The amp is more for my merc to not die on phys immunes.
I started with magic arrow , reached 14-17k dmg and it was still so bad compared to phys bowazon, it lacks aoe,sustain,and single target. Also something is wrong with magic arrow's hit chance even with 20k ar and -33%enemy defense and maxed out inner sight it still only hits once out of4 attack vs bosses its so wierd. It is still good for season start due to how smooth it can farm arcane sanctuary which is the best hr farm place.
@@robertveres6232 yeah it’s just a really good/easy starter/early mapper. Very chill. Nothing crazy though. Mavinas is just super cheap this season hahaha
Probably better, but experimenting is how new awesome builds are found, and how we have a healthy meta, and if your builds sneaks under the radar you can get the items you need dirt cheap.
Oh for sure. I just like Magic dmg builds. Multishot is definitely better this season. I'm not sticking with bowazon this was just to get through hell and do some farming.
I dunno man, I am playing a decked out magic zon with around 18k dmg right now and it absolutely shreds for about 1/3 the cost of an end game phys. Using act 3 prayer merc with beast on HC. Absolutely tanky as hell. No risk of dying most of the time.

Knockback on melody is good for safety too

i have now moved to mav set -Bow and switch it for "brand Bow"

correct me if im wrong but im pretty certain magic arrow does not need pierce on gear or skill because the skill itself auto pierces

You use magic arrow. Why wouldn’t you give the merc armor with sanc aura for more damage. T might is bad for ur build
Merc is currently rocking one. Was only using T might because it's what dropped early season for me believe it or not.
Just play multi shot. So much better than all ele/magic after the nerfs. Trust.
