Just watched your poor mans dumbbell video, thought I would see what else you had. Just getting back into hitting the weights at 59, looking forward to a 400lb dead lift, with no set schedule as to how long it will take me, but watching this is inspiring. I would love to see a video on starting dead lift, I haven't lifted forever so a safe path is a must at my age. Cheers
Joe Shmoe thanks man! Just take it slow and you should be fine. Get comfortable with the movement before trying to go heavy and then when you do add weight don’t overdo it and push your sets to failure. I think that’s the main way people get hurt deadlifting, just going for a weight they’re not ready for or trying to grind out more reps than they should while their form breaks down.
