Great to see you back on the hills. Love the videos - a real inspiration, your perseverance with Stuc a’Chroin in particular! Here’s to many more adventures… 👍🏔
You deserve a lot more subscribers man, your videos are really high quality and you clearly put a lot of effort into them. Keep it up and I'm sure you'll get the recognition you deserve.
Great video, your footage and narration is always great. I used to live in Callander and loved a wee jaunt up Ledi. It’s such a great hill. Look forward to your next. Cheers. Leon
Cheers Leon! I'm jealous of you, having lived in Callander. Bet that was great having all the hills on your doorstop. Maybe not so much in summer when it gets busy though? 😄 Cheers, Kris.
@@ScottishMountainGoat Yeah it was brilliant. Good access into other hills as well. The “back” way into Stuc a Croin from Braeleny was one of my favourites too. Would highly recommend. It’s like Central station in the summer with day trippers, but totally understandable. It’s a great spot. Look forward to your next video. Cheers
Hi Kris, I see you haven't lost any of your film making skills, well done and well back. Looking forward to viewing your new adventures. Cheers, Charlie
Top video Kris, beautifully filmed and edited. I don't know many other channels that make cinematic content like this. Particularly when the weather is not in your favour. 🎥 👌🏼
Cheers Robin, appreciate it! Would be ideal if this kinda stuff was more popular but It's what enjoy making so I'll just have to make do 😄 Hope you're well man and I got your buachallie video queued up to watch later 😉
@@ScottishMountainGoat yeah, you'll need to do a cinematic camping on a roundabout or heavy rain video, they seem to do better. 😜 Hope you enjoy the Bookil vid.
Fantastic stuff Kris, great to see a video from you again. Was only the other day wondering when we might see some new stuff. Enjoyed this one immensely, great to have you back. Thanks for sharing and safe walking, Duncan
How weird! I was on your channel earlier today looking to see if there was any new content. Glad to see you back on the hill. It’s a cracking mountain and is the first “big thing” you see on the way to Callander. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers Graham! Haha, very weird! Got a few more filmed and in the pipeline to come. Cracking mountain indeed, I'll see the summit cloud free one day I'm sure 😄
Good video , liked your wee storytelling of it. Liked your effects with the mountains with names above them and also the way you showed the route with what looked like spotlights. Had a cracking summer camp up there few years back
My gear isn't much better in cold weather to be honest. Panasonic S5, but it’s only rated down to 0°C. Panasonic GH6 is westher sealed and rated down to -10°C but I'm not buying any more cameras for a while 😄
Me and Monty got similar weather to you on our trip up. The difference was we were daft enough to camp it. Worth it in the morning though with an inversion to wake up to. Really happy to see you back making videos again. Hope you’re well!
This was magic again Kris, beautifully shot & put together 😍 I haven't been up here myself, but you've represented the hill very well! Congrats on your news again & I hope everyone is doing great!
Excellent stuff Kris - beautifully narrated and filmed, do you mind if I ask you what you use for your map animations they are exceptional. ATB, Dave. 🥾🥾
Cheers Dave! It took me a couple of months to put the map together but it's built in Unreal Engine using Ordanance survey open datasets. It's still missing stuff like roads and lochs which I hope to add in the future when I can find / figure out how to parse the datasets. Hope this helps! Kris.
Yay you're back. 😊 haven't watched much UA-cam videos in a while but I'll be looking out for your stuff. Magic as ever Kris 👍

Thanks! Hope you enjoy your trip and I hope the rain gods are kind! 😄

Good to see you back out Kris.Ledi was one of my first mountains about 10 years ago and your excellent post brought back great memories.
Thanks Alan! Glad it brought back some memories. I hope you had some better views from the summit than me 😄

Cheers Stevie! Would have been a cracking place for a camp, if the weather was a wee bit nicer! 😀
@@ScottishMountainGoat what do use for filming as my Go Pro 7 is crap in cold weather?

Yeh, that would have been some view! Would have been a wild wild camp that 😄 Cheers man, glad to be back out on the hills! 😁

Great video mate. This was the mountain that threw subs at my channel! Can't wait to revisit. Also hope you and the fam are doing well x
Cheers Monty, hope you're doing well mate. It's a cracking hill. The windy weather would have been right up your street for camping in! 😉
Cracker Kris. Good to see you back oot. I've missed your sweet voice. 😊😉
Haha cheers Kev! I'll need to do a wild camping lullaby channel to help soothe nervous first time wild campers to sleep . Next big thing! 😂

@@ScottishMountainGoat haha 😂 I’m feeling the same way, but the youngun is almost 4, so a bit less time to wait! Still, Osprey do a baby carrier 😁
@Outlawed Landscapes Only another 12 years! 😁 I was looking at those! Pricey pieces of kit though 😬 Hopefully I can get one second hand 😄

@@ScottishMountainGoat Well you're doing well with your hill name pronunciations anyway!
