A few further question/wishes for the game from me (who started playing yesterday): 1) I wish I could sort my inventory by name or quality or durability; I had so many foods go to waste because I had overlooked it (which sucked, because you are poor as a church mouse in the beginning and you just need everything!! 2) Can I plant seeds at the end of spring and harvest them in summer or does the fruit/vegetable go bad when it's only supposed to be a spring fruit for example? I really wish we could have a water sprinkler, because watering the fields take sooo long. 3) I feel like I'm missing so many blueprints... it's hard to get them because first not a lot of people give you quests with blueprints or quests, second a lot of quests are not makeable at the beginning when you have no money etc. And oh my god, you chose William Watt as your husband, that's the one I'm trying to get with too 😂and I also hate it, that you can't track down the villagers when you need to find them. It's just luck if you'll meet them on that day, I feel like that needs an update (as well as the inventory-sorting stuff). Thanks again, very good video 💝

Maybe in a future update? 2) Plants will go bad when the next season hits and it isn't in season anymore, so be mindful of the day/season when you plant your seeds. Watering does take some time and right now, there's no sprinklers in the game (yet?) 3) It takes a while to get doable quests that give blueprints especially in the beginning but there's no need to rush, just enjoy your days and keep checking the town hall bulletin board or the villagers for these quests. @@Saabriinii Dead plants are usually brown. If your plant is wheat it will be yellow, they grow during Spring, Summer, and Fall, and you can harvest wheat by using your scythe. You can also get rid of the dead plants by using the scythe. William works and lives at the carpenter's which is in the same map as the other farms. Hope this helps! 😊

Does anyone know how or what you feed the baby 😂 ? Im literally scared open my game because my baby food bar is empty and i dont want him get bad traits 😢
You will hear the baby cry when it gets hungry and you will see a baby bottle icon on their crib, you can click on the crib and you'll feed the baby automatically without needing anything. Don't forget to give the baby some cuddles by clicking on the crib when the baby's not hungry to increase their mood. 🤗

Hi! There is customization in the game. 🙂 You can opt for different colors at the start... as for afterwards in-game, well, I have not encountered any hair dyes in my playthroughs but given the setting of 1700s, I'm not entirely sure we could change it
once you create a furnace to make silver, copper and gold bars. you'll make money so fast. Mining for gold is a game changer as well as investing into a steel pickaxe and mining the bolder that requires a steel pickaxe. You will get your money in return for the ore mined in there (gold BAR sells for 350 each and rare ores in the third mine shaft ranging for 100-300 each)
You might hold on to your metal bars, but the gems are good money makers. Right now they don't have any function besides selling them, and they cost quite a lot.
I love this game. I've had it for 3 days and I have indeed messed with the game options. I'm a veteran survival player and simulation farmer. Harvest moon/story of seasons was my first farm simulation game and still one of my top faves since gamecube. I collect em. But I did turn off many, if not all the features for now until I'm comfortable fully with game. After getting married and having a baby, I just turned diseases on for me and everyone. I didnt want my game to end right away if I had no kids first.

My advice would be to not bother clearing out the whole farm before you get your own family. The farm is big, and it will take you ages to do it all, meanwhile you could spend all this time on more useful tasks. Once you get a spouse, you can set them to become the farm helper (altough if they are the mayor, i wouldn't recommend it, as they bring in good money), or you can adopt/birth children, and have them become a farm helper. Just put the necessary tools in the farm helper's chest, and they will clear out the farm while you are away. A couple days, and your farm will be completely cleared. If you have crops growing, and don't want to water/harvest them yourself, make sure that not all the tasks (like weeding, tree chopping, bush clearing) are turned on, because the farm helper will start doing other tasks midway through watering, not finish by the time their workhours are done, and you will be left with an unwatered farm. Just let them first clear the trees, then weed, then clear the bushes, rocks, one after the other, instead of everything at once. Also, they do not refill the watering cans, nor do they harvest hay, wheat or barley. In winter you can send your farm helpers to find a job, since they quite literally have nothing to do.
Did you fill up the watering can and put it in a helper chest? They won't help if the watering can is empty. Also, sometimes they don't help on Sundays because it's market day
Hi! On top of what RedRover also mentioned, consider festivals as well as sometimes they do take part in that... sometimes they do come back to finish the tasks though

A season lasts for 3 weeks or 21 days. You can check the calendar on the bulletin board at the town hall, you also have a calendar under your character in the family menu. 😊

Are you sure? I fast travel out of there all the time. Unless they changed it or not but that may be a glitch? I'll have to check when I get on cuz ive done it several times.
Okay. I just double checked. You should be able to fast travel. If u can't that could be a glitch and I'd report it to the devs. Which u can do through discord I believe or there's other ways I just don't remember how

I ended up removing the mini game for fishing when it took me literally like 5 minutes trying to get a fish and I had to give up 😭🤣
I tried to stick with it then the Fishing Festival came... 😂
I turned that off before even started playing, but was scared I was missing out, but after reading this I have no regrets 😂

How do we move furniture? I'm asking because I updated my home, and all of the furniture is crowded around the stairs! 😭😭
You use the hammer tool to remove your placed furniture and they will go back to your inventory for you to place again 😊
