Depends on the woman. My brother has a Moroccan wife. She volunteers free tutoring to black teenage boys taking advance math in my community. She has a masters in chemistry. She got her education in Fez, Morocco. She’s serving the black American community more than the actual black women in the community. I’m courting a Moroccan woman who has a masters in economics. If I choose to marry her she will serve my community’s interests. She can serve as a tutor for advanced math too plus she speaks English well.
Here in Canada, I dated a Pakistan woman in the past. She was a loving lady. However, I had to deal with the headache of her parents. I am African and light skin. Growing up I hated being light skin, my friends use to make jokes about me being white but I hated that because I was light skin as in white skin person. Ethiopians have a slur for Africans with a dark skin tone. They call them "Bahria". A friend of mine used to cohabitate with an Ethiopian girl. Each time they had a fight, she'd cuss him out calling him "Bahria". It was one of her Ethiopian friends that told us that "Bahria" was a slur for dark skinned Africans.

I studied in India for six years in the late '80s. I went over since opportunities in Kenya were limited, only three universities with only 20,000 places for 100,000 qualified students. Anyway depending on where one was, we got along well(or badly) with locals. In Cosmopolitan towns it was good, in towns where there had been little interaction with people from other worlds, there was bad interaction. I had great Indian friends and was invited into their homes. As for marriage, it is possible, only that cultural differences, religious differences make it hard to forge great relationships. But reality is that there are ignorant perceptions on how good a person is based on skin tone. Reality hits hard soon enough. "Love is blind, marriage is the eye opener!"
I am an Indian and many of our gods are black color like Rama, Krishna , Kaali mata they are all dark complexion. Even the newly built Ram temple in ayodhya the Rama idol was built from black stone and you can check that on internet. Many big religious figure even today like Sadguru is dark complexion . But in India I think many people if given a choice they would like to choose fair complexion than dark complexion for themselves. But if a black person spent sometime with Indian then if they have good understanding then I think majority of them will be accepted , its just because Indians already have so many Indians around themselves where is the time for indians to look for black people.
Technically, we have brown skin that ranges from dark brown to light brown. We are not really black. I have gone to school with Indians but I’ve never had any interest in them. They seem to gravitate toward white people and over extend themselves to be accepted by whites, which I don’t understand since I view the majority of whites as having a colonialist mindset and bias against nonwhites (especially melanated people). The fact that Indian has a caste system based on skin color is rather disturbing to me and antiquated for the times. It is a backwards way of thinking for people to be separated by color into a hierarchy that places the lightest colored people at the top and everyone else at the bottom. White people know full well that darker skin is more genetically dominant than recessive lighter colored skin but they’ve conditioned and brainwashed everyone into thinking darker skin is ugly….and it is not! Ironically, all humankind should owe gratitude to the “black man” because life came out of Africa and the first humankind were black people.

Indian, Pakistani & south Asian cultures are heavily based in colorism and cast system. It also reflects in their beauty standards. The lighter and brighter you are the more desirable you become. Also, the higher you are perceived in society the more desirable you become.

I am a Sudanese-Canadian and here in Canada 🇨🇦 we date our types. If we want to date outside our race, we go for White Woman. After White woman we go after Hispanic woman. Honestly, as a young black African man, I’m not losing any sleep over this. I personally am not interested in marrying them either. I might have short term flings with a few to satisfy my curiosity, but the woman who will always have the first right of refusal will be the fellow black African woman. I studied in India for six years in the late '80s. I went over since opportunities in Kenya were limited, only three universities with only 20,000 places for 100,000 qualified students. Anyway depending on where one was, we got along well(or badly) with locals. In Cosmopolitan towns it was good, in towns where there had been little interaction with people from other worlds, there was bad interaction. I had great Indian friends and was invited into their homes. As for marriage, it is possible, only that cultural differences, religious differences make it hard to forge great relationships. But reality is that there are ignorant perceptions on how good a person is based on skin tone. Reality hits hard soon enough. "Love is blind, marriage is the eye opener!"

I am an Indian and many of our gods are black color like Rama, Krishna , Kaali mata they are all dark complexion. Even the newly built Ram temple in ayodhya the Rama idol was built from black stone and you can check that on internet. Many big religious figure even today like Sadguru is dark complexion . But in India I think many people if given a choice they would like to choose fair complexion than dark complexion for themselves. But if a black person spent sometime with Indian then if they have good understanding then I think majority of them will be accepted , its just because Indians already have so many Indians around themselves where is the time for indians to look for black people.
Technically, we have brown skin that ranges from dark brown to light brown. We are not really black.
I have gone to school with Indians but I’ve never had any interest in them. They seem to gravitate toward white people and over extend themselves to be accepted by whites, which I don’t understand since I view the majority of whites as having a colonialist mindset and bias against nonwhites (especially melanated people). The fact that Indian has a caste system based on skin color is rather disturbing to me and antiquated for the times. It is a backwards way of thinking for people to be separated by color into a hierarchy that places the lightest colored people at the top and everyone else at the bottom. White people know full well that darker skin is more genetically dominant than recessive lighter colored skin but they’ve conditioned and brainwashed everyone into thinking darker skin is ugly….and it is not!

The question is, who really cares?. I'm from Trinidad and Tobago, I went to high school with them and even at that age they never appealed to me. There is this, "je ne sais quoi", I don't know how to describe it, thing about the African woman which no other woman has, and I just love it.

When I was a child my dad told me that we are Caribbean before you look outside your race in the Caribbean there are 13 countries and 21 Territories of the West Indies then the African continent. My Nan wanted me to marry an Indian I dated him but no it was not for me our family was not poor but my Nan insisted his family had land and they would build a big house for you. My white client told me they prefer being black cause are skin is good.she said if your fat and black your skin doesn't hang but if you're white and fat it skin hang and wobbling so thats why they tan their skin😢. I won't even bleach my skin.
What about a black African and a black Australian. Are they comfortable with us even with similar skin shades regardless of being native to different continents?

As a Filipino in the Philippines, we have so many Filipinos married to Africans here. We are known for dating any race and religion. That video clip is not reflective of all Filipinos.
Every race should date within its self on average South East Asians with South East Asians, East Asians With East Asians, West Asians with West Asians, Desis With Desis etc yeah.

Some family are open mindedz some of them still secluded.
At the end of the day, let's judge each other base on our character or how we carry ourselves vs by our skin colors.

Honestly, as a young black African man, I’m not losing any sleep over this. I personally am not interested in marrying them either. I might have short term flings with a few to satisfy my curiosity, but the woman who will always have the first right of refusal will be the fellow black African woman. Women from the continent of Asia are at the bottom of my list when it comes to that kind of commitment.

They are steeped too deep in prejudice about Indians- if you investigate the comments here- to check the reality. Fact is, few parents would allow their kids to marry outside the community. Besides, there are several Indo-African couples to be found on youtube now. But they won't talk about how the black spouse is treated in those Indian house.
While black is beautiful in its own way [just like any colour is], don't black adults in the US record the highest divorce rate? Aren't black women the biggest sufferers of domestic abuse? A whopping 41 percent! A stereotype? A black spouse is fine only after a thorough diagnosis!
