How lucky were you three to have a lesson from the BEST Sommelier in the world!!! It made my ❤ happy to know that the Sommelier mentioned the NY state finger lakes wine!! It's 2 hours from my home outside of Buffalo NY and, yes they have great wines!! Loved that he mentioned our backyard for great 🍷 wines!! What a treat of a lifetime to learn from him😊😊
I enjoy you guys! So real and candid. You both are easy to follow and give sound advice. Keep it going. Love your tour guides. So genuine and easy to follow. The Duponts, Les Frenchies, view points are spot on! Congratulations 🎈🎈
Oh WOW! What a great vlog! I really enjoyed all of you enjoying yourselves!! Wonderfull!! What a meal!! I am putting this restaurant on the to do list!!
Ah…we leave tomorrow for Paris and am so excited. Now I have to go to bistrot Du Sommelier! 😂 Another stop on my list thanks to Les Frenchies! Merci Beaucoup!!!
I really appreciate that you provided the names of the paired wines. This is perfect for me to take to my local wine store. I also have another restaurant to try in Paris! I know you’re aware that your videos are so a help and SO ENJOYABLE! 💃🏽 On y va!!
Watching your videos makes me smile and feel a part of the giggles! I also love how great you are at describing the taste, texture and make up of the things you eat. I just love watching and re-watching all your videos. We are spending 7 days in Paris in 3.5 weeks with our 4 and 6 year old (as part of our 3 month tour of France which starts and finishes in Paris). I have A LOT of places to eat on my list, thanks to you guys. Thanks for posting! Tabitha from New Zealand
Thank you very much for having us (secretly) at your table. Moreover, huge thx for fulfilling my wish to show the prices. Merci beaucoup. As I adore "living and dining like God in France" another petite request: show us the plates a little bit longer, s. v. p.
Ha-Ha! You had a great time filming this one. We are looking forward to trying some French wines now that we have a little more knowledge. Thanks for posting it.
Oh, what I would have given to have been part of this evening out…all of it - the wine, the food, the education and definitely the company all look enchanting. Thank you for sharing it.
Wow another good tasting video, this time wine tasting, love it, I always look forward to new upload, keep up the good job, ur silent subscriber from USA…
I love all of your videos and will be traveling to Paris in April. I was wondering if you two do any tours, if so how would I go about setting that up? If not can you please lol my friends and I believe hanging with y’all would be a good time.
Great Video, thank you so much. I had the opportunity to taste and appreciate wines from all over the world and found excellent wines from Spain, South Africa, Australia, Chile, Germany, Switzerland, etc. and also the excellent nectars of the Nappa Valley in the US, but not yet from the Finger Lake area in Upstate New York, neither from Oregon. I'll try to find some where I live. I like wines from Bordeaux, the Loire Valley, Alsace, and my favorite white wine remains the Meursault from Burgundy. Keep the good work.
Bonjour, I love the history in this video and the concern about climate change. I am not a wine drinker but I buy it for my mom and I am in a wine club, which is crazy. Champagne is a different story...love the bubbles. I plan on bringing some wine back for my mom and this was so helpful. Thank you, Merci.💕
Looks like you had a great time on this video! We need the unedited version especially towards the end of the tastings when clearly everyone was having a little more fun 😂🍷🥂🍾!
We are watching an American Documentary called A year in Burgundy. It follows 7 wineries over the course of the year, very exciting to be heading to Paris in 6 days.
We have a reservation for dinner here on 11 July. Thanks for telling us about it! We are looking forward to it. Too bad the tasting in the cave isn't likely to be part of our visit.
Loved the video! Enjoyed the lesson on wine tasting. We will be in Paris this coming September with 6 friends and are tempted to go here. Have the prices increased dramatically? On the menu I did not see a pairing menu listed when I checked out the restaurant site. I assume reservations are necessary for 8....
Oooh, this video was so enticing! I am intrigued by the wine glass with the "double curve"? Which varietals are they suited for? When I'm in Paris again, I want to have dinner at this restaurant!
When we went, I asked one of the sommelier about the double bubble glass. He said that it was for younger wines. Then, during our dinner, two of the wines served were in this glass - and they were each ten year old bottles.
My husband is French and I unintentionally tortured him by playing this video. Immediately he wanted to join in. Needless to say, a toast to all of you with his verre de vin was the melancholy aftermath 🎉😊
I was thinking about the question of California wine and remembered the movie Bottle Shock with the late, great Alan Rickman 😪 and Chris Pine💕. It is pretty good movie. If you have some spare time and can find the movie, watch it. 🧐
For someone who doesn't like wine or champagne, what would you recommend for me to try while in Paris? Maybe I can find something while I'm there I like 😊 Merci!
Your comment about being yelled at for your wine choice with fish reminded me of an experience I had with a choice of Condrieu with Blanquette du Veau . The waiter wanted to know why I chose a Condrieu rather than a Bordeaux red. I said to the waiter. It’s hot weather. He scowled. Are you paying for my wine, I asked him? He scuttled off and the manageress came and apologised.

You guys are a riot! Never has Paris been more fun!
You guys are such a joy to watch. No pretensions, you just are. I’m learning so much so, thank you for your videos.
What a fun video. Thank you so much. I'm excited to see you are nearing 20,000 subscribers.

Lovely - ought to have more likes. Thanks for this get-away.
I LOVE it… both Colleen and Vincent are Pompette! MDR 😝. Excellent vidéo. Merci!
We are headed to France this July. This restaurant is now on our short 'must do' list. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Love your vids. Another great one. Visiting Paris soon for the second time!🤞🏼
Ah, les bonnes dégustations, le régale à la française le tout dans la convivialité. Délisse de vidéo, merci, à bientôt.
What a great episode....I love your channel

Looks like fun.
Are restaurants still requiring the pass sanitare? (Vaccine pass). If so, do Americans still have to go to a pharmacy to acquire it? Great video!
You guys are so much fun, I want to hang out with you and drink wine Sante 🥂
I'm ready for the ride!
Looks like you had a great time on this video! We need the unedited version especially towards the end of the tastings when clearly everyone was having a little more fun 😂🍷🥂🍾!
We like that he made a shout out to the great wines here in the Fingerlakes Region of New York. Amazing Rieslings.

Forget the video, I want to spend time with Vincent. We need more Vincent.
Great episode
It was really fun to make 😊🙃😊
I wish I was there… love the giggles.
I understand! It's time to go back ♡
Great video, great tips, we both like white bordeaux, we're not fans of red.
How were your headaches the next day
no headhaches at all with high quality wine like these wines we test with Philippe !!!....^^ believe me...
I was thinking about the question of California wine and remembered the movie Bottle Shock with the late, great Alan Rickman 😪 and Chris Pine💕. It is pretty good movie. If you have some spare time and can find the movie, watch it. 🧐
Good one!
Only 1 appropriate comment: 😋😋😋
And next time in Paris a definite stop!
Wow, I would LOVE to do this. And the price was so reasonable. In Sonoma County, CA, this would be double the price.....
German wines along the Weinstrasse and the Mosel are also good.
For someone who doesn't like wine or champagne, what would you recommend for me to try while in Paris? Maybe I can find something while I'm there I like 😊 Merci!

Buvee or not, you had a great time!
😂😂😂
If the shape of the glass matters, shouldn't the shape of the nose matter as well?
