Lets Goooo. I passed my DMV test using these videos while attending Nixon. I used the exact methods taught to me by Alex. Not only did he break it down for me but had the patience to teach. Aside from the videos, The behind the wheel training was just as smooth, I learned to be on point and actually learned how to drive standard through Alex. Yes, do the applied test 10x’s. On the 11 th time do the first 3, which are, applied test, low warning and spring pop out test. However, watch my air brakes vid a few times so you can understand the sequence. Best of luck. Keep in touch if you need help.

Just started in Bloomington and wish we had you as a instructor.. I have my exam on September 9th and This instructor doesn’t show us nothing .. wish I would of never came to Nixon. Should of saved my money and gone to a school that actually cares about the students to pass. And not like Nixon they just cared about the 3 grand I paid for nothing instead they told me to come watch your videos to help me pass hahah

For how long do they take you out to drive in the Fontana dmv

I am at Nixon in Pomona. My paper work tells me the voltmeter gauge is '13.5-14 and charging' not 13.5-15
And the air guage is supposed to be at '100-140 psi' not 100-120 psi
What is the right answer?
It really boils down to either reading. The important sections are the air brakes, low warning and spring pop out test. This section is a pass or no pass section, whereas, The in cab inspections consist of a point basis section. You won’t loose points by stating either reading but to have a piece of mind use your paper and use this video as a guide.

Alex, what do you mean by eagle eye?
Know your gages and know how to read them. Be specific when you give a reading. For example, don’t say my needle settled at 98 I mean 94… try to finish shout readings on a 0 or a 5. For example, my needle settled at 110 now my needle settled at 105… best of luck and keep studying.
