My Grocery Haul Was Unusual For Me. The Prices Are Higher Than Ever Before!

- I needed to restock some quick freezer meals and fill in some gaps for the next few weeks. The prices out there even at Super Foods are still on the rise. When will the madness stop?

NEVER apologize for whatever food items you choose to buy. It's your life no one else's .do what makes your heart smile, life is too short😊
That stuff gives me terrible heart burn. Used to love it in my younger days.
@@1Mhoram9 yep dog and cat food. tums or Rolaids
Agreed 👍
and if you want to make them a little healthier have a small salad or slice up some raw veg like baby carrots or cucumbers or have some slices of fruit.
@@lindanizamoff7981 ❤️
Sometimes we've got to get "easy" food. Enjoy seeing what you get. Take care good sir!
I agree!
As I have gotten older on good days I cook a lot on days that I don't feel well I fall back on my easy meals. I just do what's for best for me day to day.
Thanks for sharing!!
Same here.
Its hard sometimes to cook when its just one person😊groceries are high everywhere😊
My mother likes to say that and I tell her that’s a load of BS. It’s the same cooking, you just may have leftovers.
I know just what you mean! Heck, sometimes my husband and I find that cooking for two is even hard. We end up eating leftovers once or twice, and throw away the rest as we have a tiny freezer. Groceries sure are high - we are in our 70's, and by the end of the month, our cupboard looks pretty bare, so we end up eating lots of pasta, rice, oatmeal, and other inexpensive stuff. I have even started making our own saltine crackers, tortillas, etc. Saving a buck or two adds up! 😊
I know EXACTLY how you feel when not feeling like cooking. Sometimes I have to get "creative" just so I eat something! I cook ALOT less than you do even
Oh my gosh me too. At 66 I don't even like my cooking anymore. It's mostly frozen chicken tenders and the mashed potatoes in a tub lol. Last month I bought a cheap air fryer and my convenient foods tastes so much better and gets cooked faster.
@@kathym2501 💯🎯
@@kathym2501Those air fryers come in handy for the guys in my house, when I don’t feel like cooking. I’ve used it a few times, but the guys love it 😂
I'm 72 and live alone. It's hard to cook for one person. Some days I don't feel very well and don't feel like standing over a stove. You'd better believe I cook out of my freezer often.
Hello Mr.Tom! Thank you sharing your shopping haul with all of us! Lots of meals there.Everything you bought will make life a little easier with everything you've got going on! Have a good evening Mr.Tom Little Gracie and the kitty krew.
Those Banquet Meals Remind me when i was a Kid....We called em TV Dinners😀😎😀Lol...We normally pulled out the TV Trays in front of the Television and Chowed Down...Salsberry Steak was My Dads Favorite(RIP).....Cheers Famz & Stay Blessed...
I have had and know many people who have had treatment ....one thing we all agree on is that you need to be kind to yourself during treatment...no matter what it is treat yourself the best you ever have. Drink TONS of water and rest as much as you can!...take care and heal fast.
I'm glad you are eating well. I have friends who are older and live alone who tell me they hate to cook just for themselves, so they have cereal for supper. At least the food you bought is meat, veg and potato. People who complain about your diet are probably younger and able to spend long periods of time cooking. I was a nurse and worked in a nursing home most people do not understand that not everyone can even stand long enough or carry pans of food around due to the weight of it.
Yes Mr. Tom eat what makes you happy. We have eaten alot of wraps , pasta, and tuna. Also we started buying Walmart breat at $1.42 instead of my husband's favorite at $3.49 . We get creative and use two cleaning products only from dollar store. Bleach is insane its highway robbery. My Farther in Law always said if enough people don't buy it they will have to lower the price, I hope he's right. Have A Beautiful Sunday Mr Tom and Everyone in the comments 💙🙏✨ Give it up to God🙏
Praying for you
Loved seeing what you picked out Mr Tom ❤ I think it’s so smart for you to shop & pick items that make your life easier during hard times - so you have quick, easy meals for when your tired or not feeling well (our cream cheese is expensive too. Due to allergies we have to buy straight from the farm - can’t have the xantham or guar gum in commercial, store bought cream cheese. Our gum free cream cheese runs $33 for 12 oz - that includes shipping with cold packs 🤯 bagels have to come from an organic allergy friendly bakery & are $6.99 for 5. You can see why we only have bagels & cream cheese once and a blue moon even though we love them. Being poor on a disability pension it’s hard to swing). Best of luck with your appointments ❤ praying for good news 🙏
This made me HUNGRY. Now I need to make a run to the grocery store.
I bought my little grocery haul today too. I was sticker shocked because the majority of the 24 items I bought were on sale. My total was 140.00 for 24 items! My dozen of eggs was 3.99, 3 bananas 1.06, both were way up since I bought some last month. I didn't even buy the other things that I needed because I had set my budget this month at 150.00 for groceries. We buy what we can when we have the money and do without until next month. I'm glad you could buy what you did...sensible items. Planning a grocery haul is getting harder and harder especially with the prices of everything getting out of reach and let's not forget all of the food recalls every time you turn around. In my haul, I only bought two meats, chicken thigh's 1.79/lb. and porkchops 3.99/lb. and both were on sale. Sad to say, last week the freezer in the garage where I put all of my frozen meats, veggies, etc. died and everything was spoiled. I've decided not to get another freezer (prices too high). There go my prepping ideas. I do hope Tom that everything turns out alright with your procedure and you'll be back in the saddle, ready to tackle your yard with gusto or at least with a little more energy. Take care, don't overdo and stay safe my friend.
Oh my , that is terrible Sandra that your freezer went out and you lost all that food. May God Bless You.
Crikey Sandra that's terrible I moan every week when I go shopping it's always a shock when you get the receipt. I live in the UK are prices are not to bad compared to the US
I can a lot of meat when it’s on sale
Everyday is one of those days 😅. Im thankful for this downhome, laidback vlog/blog. Relaxing, like talking to an old friend. 🙏🙏🙏 Love the grocery hauls, the cooking, and out in the yard.
Do you ever worry about the products with the bio genetic ingredients?
I learned that cucumbers have all the vitamins you need in one cucumber.
Thank you Mr. Tom
After hundreds of hours reading actually research and testing instead of listening to bloggers and vloggers, I no longer worry about bioengineered ingredients or foods at this time. But I could go on for days about this subject and people will still believe as they wish.
@@DeepSouthBama56Thanks for sharing that, we know you do lots of research, and are grateful you do ❤️ I was wondering about that myself. Because people have made a big deal about it. We won’t be eating anything if we just followed everyone on here 😂❤️
Mr.Tom you will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers these coming weeks. As well as a dear friend l met on your channel during the C times who is just recovering from major surgery. May God bless and cover you both with His complete healing and guide the hands of your physicians. As well as meet all your needs. May His peace be with you throughout. 🥰🙏🏻💞🙏🏻🥰
I love pot pies still and probably always will. 🙂🥧😊
You should definitely stock up on as many convenience and comfort foods as you need. As a full-time caregiver for a disabled family member I always have to keep easy-to-prepare and eat meals, packaged cheeses, veggies, fruits, etc. (boxed / canned / frozen) since I can't go shopping when I'd like to. You can store bread and rolls in the freezer. Take care and I will pray for you.
You do you, Mr. Tom. Sometimes we all need some easier meals to help us. Our Milo's tea is $4.27 in South Central Kentucky. Prayers that ou are completely well too.
Wishing you all the best and a speedy recovery Mr Tom xo
Nice haul Mr. Tom. I always enjoy a nice grocery haul. Thanks for sharing ❤
Good video God bless
Hello Mr Tom . Happy Saturday. Always so happy to to see you and Love what you do thank You and I did some food shopping too today. Your haul looks yummy!
Good haul!!! Never apologize for the things you like!!!! I buy frozen dinner things esp when it gets late and im hungry but flat dont want to cook. So its that or go to bed hungry. I also like the hormel completes esp spagetti ones.
I do like those Hormel completes too.
As long as the gas prices continue to rise, no prices will ever go down. Your prices aren't too bad except for the milk. Hope all goes well next week! 😍
The stores are very expensive here in Manteca, CA 😢 the prices keep going up and never down. Have a wonderful evening Mr. Tom, Kitty Krew, and everyone ❤️ 💖 💕 Godbless you all ❤❤❤❤
Modesto is the same thing
Saw that pie and got up and put 2 in the oven. Thanks for the idea. My pie was a 1.00 at Walmart. Be blessed ,
Hey Mr Tom, prices are going one way that's for sure. I'm glad you're making sure you can get a bite to eat after long drives to and from Montgomery !
It's not just the drives and time, it's the thinking about what to cook, clean up etc , also the stress of what's going on , when your routine is out of kilter it takes time to get back to normal again and some quick yummy things on hand are just great !
One less thing to think about, mentioning that fried baloney has sandwich got me thinking, I love those !
Take a load off Mr Tom, you've been running around sorting things out prior to your trips , the garden, meals, the kitties- have a sweet tea and put your feet up !
Take care, keep cool , pats to the kitties 😸 ❤❤❤❤
Ps, prices of food in NZ,which grows a lot, we have a lot of farming and fishing, all the good stuff gets exported , its gone to crazy town
Mr Tom… that cream cheese is perfect in mashed potatoes!!
Good to see you stocked up with easy things in preparation for the coming weeks! I haven't had the frozen meals in a while but they for sure saved me back in the winter on those days when I felt sick or just didn't want to cook. Reminds me I need to pick up a few just in case. I replinished my small pantry but forgot the quick freezer stuff.
Great grocery haul Mr.Tom and prices continue to rise. We have no control over somethings. You'll be eating mighty fine for the next month or so.Hope you and the kitty crew will be ok god bless.
I live in mid Michigan and all of your food is cheaper than mine!! Your gas a couple of videos back, was 40 cents a gallon cheaper than mine! Your bananas were cheap, ours are .59 cents at least. good luck to all of us
Lettuce was $2.99 a head here this a.m., and a 2 pack of broccoli was almost $8.00. Hellman's mayo was $7.49 for a quart jar. The bread I wanted (Italian - nothing fancy) was $4.79. The Banquet meals & pot pies you got are way, way cheaper than here!! I ended up getting frozen peas, lima beans, and noodles that were on sale. I thought the noodles were priced decently until I realized they are 10 ounce bags! Food prices are ridiculous.
Agreed
Man oh man, lettuce prices have gone nuts!! A head of romaine was $3.49 so we looked for a small head of reg. icebrg lettuce, and it was almost the same! The cheapest mayo in the grocery store was $5.99, and the cottage cheese I wanted was over $4.50, so we skipped all that. Ended up buying 3 tomatoes and 2 cucumbers so we could have some version of "salad", and I made our own dressing - turned out good. We live in an apartment, and I am growing cherry tomatoes (already have 4 on the vine), carrots, lettuce, sage, and peas in buckets on our balcony. Bought the seeds from the dollar store at 4 for $1.25. We are in our 70's and are using our old hippie gardening skills we learned back in the 60's! ❤
Yes even simple bread can be ridiculous.
Mr. Tom, we like those Banquet pot pies, too. We are both in our 70's, and often, we have more month than groceries, these days. After watching your recent dried bean video, I have been making a big pot of pinto or navy beans every week, and eating them with homemade tortillas or cornbread. We live in Texas, and go to a little Mexican grocery store to get beans for 69-cents a pound, but the darned onions we cook them with are at least $1.39 lb, which is crazy. We pretty much can just not afford lettuce, mayo, bacon, any kind of bread, baking potatoes, ground beef, real butter, crackers, jelly, most coffee, and lots of other stuff we used to buy.
But as summer comes in, tomatoes, zucchini and cucumbers have been under $1 a pound, so that has been our salad. We can get ground pork for $2.10 a pound, so I use that in place of ground beef, drained and rinsed well to curb the fat. I have been making cornbread, tortillas, and biscuits for bread, and even made a small oatmeal cake the other day, only took a half cup of sugar from a 1lb bag we bought from a dollar store. The dollar store is cheaper on SOME things, like pancake syrup, movado sugar, vanilla flavoring, and cheapo Mexican coffee, which my husband says grows hair on his chest! And we are growing cherry tomatoes, carrots, sage, parsley, peas, in buckets on our apartment balcony (we live in a large city, in the 'hood) - every little bit helps! ❤❤❤
I'm in Cincinnati Ohio area. Reser was 3.99 on sale this week.
I bought lettuce 1.99 but it's hard to find one that hasn't started going bad.
❤❤❤❤blessings ❤❤❤❤
You’re planning ahead. Sometimes you just have to do what works. You have a lot on your plate the month of May. It’s all good
Ok mr tom I'll be for supper
We love you brother everything will be okay put your trust in Jesus Christ not man
Aloha Mr Tom! Glad to be watching another one of your videos God bless you
Thanks for sharing your haul. I live in eastern NC, the price differences are interesting. Some of your stuff is way cheaper, but things like your lettuce are high. At least your lettuce isn't a shriveled up baseball😂. Take care Mr. Tom❤
I’m growing lettuce for first time this year, so far so good, but I’m having the neighbors pig coming and walked all through my garden. Just talked to him about it today and he doesn’t want the pig, but said he will try to keep it put up. I’m going to see if we can find a home for it. My food is finally doing good and a pig comes along and destroys some of it 🤷♀️😂
The prices are comparable to ours in East Tennessee. Enjoy your videos and wish you well in your journey to good health.
Hi Mr.. Tom, I grew up eating toast with cottage cheese on top. And to this day love it. It is so satisfying. Give it a try!! And as far as food prices, absolutely awful here in Massachusetts. I also buy some easy meals for work or after work being exhausted. It's all good!! We all have to do the best we can. God Bless. Will be here following all... Prayers for the upcoming weeks.
That cottage cheese on toast sounds good with a little strawberry preserves drizzled on top! Oh boy,,,, there's a quick easy snack for me!
Hey Mr Tom, from Oklahoma! That’s quite a haul with a nice variety of meals. Take care ❤❤
Enjoy those baloney sandwiches and I hope you do well with your upcoming treatments. Stay safe, Tom.
The prices are unbelievable! I’m in Ontario, Canada and the prices, plus the taxes are just insane. Bananas are $1.99 a pound and cream cheese is $7.99 for the same size where I live. So many people are struggling right now 😢.
Thanks for always making great videos, Mr. Tom ❤
Thanks for sharing!!
2.00 a pound? 😮
I'm always flabbergasted and envious when Mr. Tom mentions his food prices. Here in Canada I can easily multiply his prices by FIVE. Frankly I don't know how us Canadians are even still breathing. I know many of us are barely hanging on and the food banks are extremely busy.
@@angela8187 I know it’s so scary ! I live in a city where there was hardly ever any homeless people. And now there is a whole park called tent city. Has to be at least 200 homeless now. It’s so sad. And a lot of them have full time jobs. But rent for a 1 bedroom right now starts at $2,300 a month.
@@adessachui7777 yep and that’s the cheapest thing to buy. A tiny thing of strawberries was $9.99 on sale the other day
When I do cook, I'll make enough for 2-3 days and then reheat. And I also buy some convenience meals as well. I round it up with yogurt, fruit, cheese, salad or
Coleslaw... Ice cream really goes well with everything!
That’s what I do, I may cook 2 days in a row and we all eat off that for a few days. So I don’t have to cook every single day and can get other things done.
We have a Sharp shopper in Belleville, Pennsylvania and we went this past Monday got a good bit of groceries that filled up my truck of my car for 179. I sure felt very blessed and thank God for it. Everything is going so high in the stores every where. Thank you for showing your haul I sure enjoyed watching your video. God bless you.
I went to the Ames, Iowa Walmart yesterday. I grabbed my receipt and wrote down a few ithems I bought. Blackberries 12 oz $4.94, head of lettuce $1.94, Kale 1LB bag $3.48, Baby Spinach 11oz container $3.64, Activia 12 in a pkg $6.86, Blue Bonett (4 sticks) $1.43, Chobani yogurt $1.22, tuna, .96 and Fancy Feast cat food .88. I always enjoy your videos Mr Tom 😃.
I see you have a can of Augason Farms mixed vegetables. I love that stuff. Four years ago I had back surgery and beforehand I made up some meals in a jar for convenience during recovery. I have since collected many more cans for just in case.
My grandson picks up my Walmart once a month grocery order so I've been working on my next order. I actually had organic fresh carrots and organic apples on my list. Ended up taking them off because every review said there was too much rot in the products. Sad!
Take care Mr Tom. I pray everything goes smoothly next week.
Hi Mr. Tom I hope your appointments go really really good for you. I’m having the 3rd back surgery I broke my back January 20 th and now my neurosurgeon says he has to fix my whole spine, so I feel for you. Bless you and the kitty crew ❤. I live in Kentucky and just got a small order from Kroger and it was 185.00 and no meat😢. I’m so glad I bought 1/2 beef last fall
May God Bless and Heal You.
Hi from NZ ,thats what we do too, better meat too . Good luck with the back, I broke mine at 11yrs old in an accident, came right, and again at 35 in another fall on a wet floor in a grocery shop.
I had a couple of bad years but 61 now and all good if i dont do anything too heavy. There's light at the end of the tunnel.
Godbless
Food is ridiculous! We pay 55 cents a pound for bananas in Pittsburgh. I am fortunate I have a lot of shopping options very close to me and believe me I study the ads and once every month to six weeks go to a warehouse club near me. Best of luck with all your medical coming up. Don't work outside in the heat too much too soon.
Good and yummy haul. Things I would buy. Those little pot pies are quick and easy to microwave.
Evening Mr Tom and 🐱 crew see you made to store yes the can ham is good to have you get a good haul
With everything I have going on, most nights it’s all I can do to fry a bit of meat and open a couple cans of veggies and throw them in the microwave. I’m glad you got some easy to make things and comfort foods for when you don’t feel like cooking at all! (I like a good steak and cheese hot pocket for that when I find them on a good sale.)
That’s a good haul Tom. Gotta have a few splurge items. Doctor visits and yard work take a toll. And that savory treat awaiting you in the kitchen, will be key to your happiness while doing some tough tasks. At this point in the game, our meals are very important to us and our comfort level. Everything you do has a purpose and a plan. And it makes me hungry. Take it easy in the yard . Don’t over do it.
Be blessed and protected through whatever comes to you in the coming weeks. May you walk in His Peace.🙏🕊
On another note, I also love those little pot pies.❤
I don't usually comment on any channels. But I'll be adding you to my prayers. For a super nice recovery. Great grocery haul.
Mr Tom, I completely understand the times one don't feel like cooking and all you want is something easy. There's nothing wrong with that. Life gets busy sometimes. We just need to eat something during trying times, and wait for those days when we can be a little creative in the kitchen. I plan ahead as much as possible and freeze up things that are on sale and cook them up when I'm able. Some days I just ain;t able and a can of soup will do.
I buy the same Dole Coleslaw when I am too lazy to make my own, or if not feeling well. It is the best one. It’s good to do a little extra prepping when something comes up and you need to rest. I always try to keep some frozen meals. Sometimes I make my own and store in the freezer. I am very organized due to my history. I see you are the same way. Before you know it, you will be scampering around the yard and everything will be behind you. Blessings to you Tom, keep the videos coming as long as you can before your procedure. If I can do anything please let me know in a comment or a response……😻
Thank You Dee.
Convenience foods are good to have for those times when you just don't feel like cooking.. as a widow now I'm not as inspired to cook especially baking in the oven anymore. I do batch cook big pots of Chili, Vegetable Soup and Beans with ham soup and freeze it and eat bologna sandwiches just about every day. I don't buy TV dinners but I do buy bean and cheese burrito's pretty often a handy heat up in the microwave for dinner. Now my dogs don't go hungry I boil chicken for them and often Can up meats for them and of course emergency stock up for all of us. Anna In Ohio
The only times I see faygo pop is when im at the dollar tree
Those pot pies were 39 cents each not too long ago. I put them over rice and thoroughly enjoy!
There’s a channel called “Dollar Tree Dinners” that you might find helpful. Even if you don’t have a Dollar Tree close by, it’s still helpful!👍
I will check it out
At Super Saver, head of lettuce is $4 and some change. I passed. I'll find a head of lettuce elsewhere. They charge 10% too at the checkout, so by the time tax and 10%, it'd be $5 and some change for 1 head of lettuce.
When i am going to the DRs tests and such. I get my crock pot or slow cooker and put me on some good ole soup its always good 4 you. Put you meal in that get up the next morning and its done. 3 days of food that is good 4 you. No dishes...
You did a great haul Mr. Tom. Prayers to you. You need to think ahead and be easy on yourself. ❤
Thank you, I will
Here in Canada and with the exchange, our prices are still about 50-60% more than what you mention
Evening Mr. Tom. I grew up in Gadsden, Alabama. Have been away from there since 206. I sure miss it. Sounds like prices there are about the same as here in Oklahoma. Going to the grocery store is quite depressing now. Everything is just so high! Gas is headed back up too! I love pot pies! So do my dogs! Hope you have a great weekend!
Thomas Bagels are 4.18 in my neighborhood in northern minnesota.
Thomas Bagels, and almost all other brands, are $4.99 or higher here in Houston, TX. Ridiculous.
I live in Atlanta and the prices you paid where you live seem much, much lower than what I experience here. I think you did great!
I’m in Mississippi and although some things are way higher, some things are a little cheaper or about the same as his. But I try to catch sales as much as I can.
The price he states is before adding the 10% charge.
Hello. You're looking well. God bless you
You take it easy this week.
Best wishes for you on your appointments 🙏🙏
I do have those times when I don't want to cook and that's mostly because I don't want to clean up the mess! This past week I made American Goulash, Meatloaf, a small chuck roast (maybe 3 pounds at most), and a double recipe of butternut squash soup. So I don't have to cook now for 2-3 weeks at least! Yippee! I have some lunch meat and plenty of other things I can fix so I don't have to cook. So maybe if I am lucky I won't have to cook for a month! HaHa Well except for the occasional breakfast. Oh and I have some of those breaded fish patties in the freezer to make your version of McDonald's fish sandwich! So Good!!
Nice haul MrTom, I like Milos tea as well, have a wonderful evening, thanks for sharing YAH bless brother !
I like the Reser brand potato salad and buy it often.
Hey Mr.Tom! So glad to see you again! Glad to see a haul, always enjoy it.❤
Thank you! You too!
I like your video and I like your grocery haul !
I can't get over some people really believe that people are really able to live off of carrots and dirt
And you stay active
Good for you !
Your grocery haul seems similar to mine healthy with good things except I might have some little ice cream bars in there somewhere
I'm new thanks for sharing !
Easy is great when it’s hot and humid
My favorite,fried bologna sanwich!!😊
I’ve been watching an English Channel called Wall Flowers UK. They are a couple who have to be very thrifty because of rising food and heating oil prices in England. She takes a turn at several food co-ops and all the workers get to take home certain items at a reduced price. She has a small garden and will also gleans some herbs at local wild areas. She feels like every little bit helps! She’s inspired me to tuck all kinds of things away to make meals more interesting.
Thanks for sharing!!
I watch them too!
Never saw that channel, may have to check it out 😉
I am in Australia, and your prices are pretty good. For us we pay for pies Australian $6 - $7 dollars each, canned hams are $12, beans in a can $3 - $4, bananas are $4.50 a kilo, cottage cheese $5 - $6, tub of pasta salad $5 - $6, lettuce $3 - $5, dairy seems sort of similar prices and tomatoes any where from $4 - $10 depending on the seasons. Bread is around $3 - $7 a loaf. Our prices are going through the roof as well. You have a good mix of fresh and prepared foods on your shopping day.
Good haul. I wish food was more affordable for all of us, Mr Tom. Take care and have a blessed day 💖✝
Bananas are 53 cent a pound here in Menomonie Wisconsin. My lawn needs limbs and debris picked up and mowed. Hard to do when it has been raining so much or appointments having to attend.. Thank you for video. Blessings to you.
Looking forward to seeing the garden this year Mr. Tom.
Hi Mr Tom most of the items you purchased are higher in my area. I buy the Dole cabbage along with packaged salad mixes. The frozen dinners you bought go great with a small salad. I enjoy bagels with the cream cheese. A lot of the time I just have the bagel with butter and sometimes I’ve been known to use Mrs Dashes lemon pepper or the Italian seasonings. Gives a different approach to the meal. The little canned hams you purchased are really great items to have in the pantry. They have many uses. The first thing I thought when I saw the chub of bologna was fried bologna sandwiches. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for your upcoming procedure. Take care and stay hydrated when your outside in the heat 🙃 much love to you and the kitty crew 🙏💕
Love those pot pies! Easy and taste good when not feeling too great! 😊
Yummy haul, Mr. Tom. Prices are higher here. I bought bananas on Saturday and they were 65 cents a pound. You got a wonderful deal on those tomatoes too. God bless you and the kitty crew!
Im diabetic so i have to be careful with carbohydrates. I usually eat non starchy vegetables and some type of meat. A small serving of good carbs like beans.
I'm not saving much on groceries as a single person household either Mr. Tom. Good grocery haul.
Not a lot of people are these days.
Thanks MrTom your prices are pretty good and please stay safe and God bless y’all! 😻😻😻👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🤩🤩🤩💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️
Looks like a good grocery haul!!! I pray that you are feeling well.
I do this every now and then myself, Mr. Tom ! Especially in hot weather. I buy chub bologna as well. I like fried, but every now and then, I'll cut off a chunk and bake it. I like it baked with mashed potatoes and green beans.
❤you need to self care Mr Tom. These are good emergency foods and will sustain you. We all need to prioritize our quality of life and I have learned that every day mundane chores can drain our joy. Sending love ❤and best wishes to you and the kitty crew.
My grocery shopping always changes in the summer time as well. I live in zone 9b my growing season is mostly over I buy things I can fix fast as well because when you get done with yard work etc you are just too tired. Thanks for the price update in your area
Im in north Alabama and tge prices here are crazy! My fav on your list was the bologna. I love bologna with that american cheese for a quick sandwich.
You got a pretty good grocery haul there Mr. Tom. Your groceries you got is a lot cheaper than our food prices here in East Tennessee. The Great Smoky Mountains.
Nice haul
I’ve been cooking all my life. Some times it’s go to take a break. I like those little pot pies too. Lol
Good Haul!! Thinking of you and hope you're feeling well.
