I’ve had the melt a while back and it was good. I just don’t think they should use a thin crust for it. This is my problem with this channel. He probably got one from a Pizza Hut that isn’t good or a bad pizza maker. I liked the P’Zone better, but doesn’t mean that I don’t like the melt. The Wendy’s where I live, isn’t good. It’s too greasy, but doesn’t mean that other Wendy’s across the country, aren’t good. He doesn’t like it. That’s fine. Don’t criticize the restaurant or the product because of one bad review.
@@Southernguy41 "oh I had one awhile back, and I thought it was good!" 🤦 Bro, are you so scared of people criticizing pizza hut or what? You can't criticize a bad product, because maybe one from a different restraunt will be better? Really, just listen to how dumb that sounds. And yeah, there are people who eat out of the dumpster and think it's good, it's no surprise someone out there will slather it in the sauce and think it's good. (Which sounds like you didn't even try the cheeseburger one, you tried a different one) Do you expect him to go out and buy from every single pizza hut in his state just to be allowed to say it's bad? I bet if he did, you would say he needs to buy from every one in the country. And if he did that, I bet you would say he needs to buy them from a different country. Because you liked a melt months ago, and you can't be wrong, so you say that his review was done wrong and that he's not allowed to criticize the product or the company. 😂 The way honest reviews work, is you get what you get and you review it. Why should he go out and buy hundreds of melts until he gets one that is MAYBE decent? Do you know how misleading that would be? That's like buying a car that the engine explodes 99% of the time, and saying that because 1% of them don't explode he's not allowed to criticize the product or the company, so reviewers have to keep buying them until they get the one that doesn't explode. The fact is, his melt was dogshit. And so many other people are going to get dogshit melts and be disappointed or disgusted, and even if it's not slimy and disgusting in the middle, the taste is still going to be the same. Bad. He's here to give an honest review on whatever he receives, if you don't like that, go watch advertisements instead because that's essentially what you're wanting. An advertisement to confirm that you aren't wrong. He said the pepperoni melts were pretty good. He has gotten plenty of other good items from pizza hut. Yet you didn't say that those were just good and that not every single on across the country is good, that he just got a good pizza hut, so he's not allowed to say it's good or praise the company. You're just mad the review was negative, that's why you're suddenly claiming that he just got a bad one, and that he's not allowed to criticize the product or the company because of a single review of a product that you haven't even tried yourself I'm sure. Ridiculous, I could keep going, but I'm wasting my time trying to talk to a smoothbrain who couldn't even understand how reviews work and is just mad about a company getting criticized. You either are a child or a NPC, or both.
@Southernguy39 fast food is supposed to be consistent, if there's such incredible variation between restaurants that sometimes items are so disgusting it's practically inedible, that's still a problem with the chain

Grew up in a small Midwest town where Pizza Hut used to be packed every night for years. Now, after decades, the place is deserted. People would rather have pizza from Casey’s (a gas station/convenience store) nearby. Pizza Hut is in an absolute free fall.
i guess they also got venture capd. i read an interesting article about red lobster today, basically a big investment firm bought them, forced them into a bad deal (limitless shrimp) because that would make one of their other clients richer, and THEN dumped the firm to another vencap firm, which sold all the store locations to other equities, forcing red lobster to pay rent from that point on, and then it went over after 60 years its saddening
All the vampires, walkin' through the valley Move west down Ventura Boulevard And all the bad boys are standing in the shadows And the good girls are home with broken hearts
I can agree to this, Casey's pizza is great and fairly cheap. I do like the Big New Yorker and Stuffed crust from the hut, but have not been there in years.
I grew up in a small town in Central NY state. The town next to us had an old sit down style pizza hut in the 80s. I can remember those pitchers of ice cold Pepsi and Mountain Dew. And mom would dole out the pizza to us kids. It was so good. Now its corporate trash. RIP mama.
There's a Pizza Hut in my town where the parking lot is almost always empty and I wonder how they stay in business. We have surmised that it may be a money laundering front.
Most people get their pizza to-go, genius. I used to work at one and it was always almost dead in the dining area, but the drive-thru window was always moving. Unless you’re talking about a Pizza Hut Buffet location, in which case I apologize. Their buffet locations were actually fucking awesome for us middle class people in the early to late 2000’s.
Agreed, you paid $8 for this abomination. At Chilis for $10.99 you can get a Smashburger, fries, a bowl of soup, and unlimited soft drink. The Chilis burger is well above average.
@@blahblahblahbloohblah LOL no. Just enjoyed that combo last week. I just wanted to compare what you can get with that disgusting Pizza Hut offering. If you want fast food you can get a better deal at Wendys or BK too.
When they had the pizza calzones, those were my favorite items on the menu. I got them all the time and was sad when they pulled them from the menu. When they introduced the melt, I thought it would be the same thing but it tasted nothing like it and I was disappointed
it is shocking how fast the decline has been, it was within the last 10 years that we still had a large, dine-in Pizza Hut where they would bring the pizza out and put it on a cooling stand at the center of the table, you ciuld get pitchers of beer to celebrate an occasion with a group of friends, and there was always a side room for birthday parties and other events. And the pizza as far as chain restaurants go, was by far the best. The pan pizza was legendary, made fresh on the spot and although fairly pricey at the time it was kind of a special event, but often you could buy them with coupons discounts if you were carrying out. But we had the option of sitting and and having a nice dinner, picking it up for take out for a home movie night, and ever an all you can eat lunch time buffet! And of course there was delivery as well. And it was always crammed and busy especially on weekends, I don't know how it could not have been profitable and the building had been there for many many years, (although regularly remodeled) so I'm sure it was paid for and there 3:14 actually was very good customer service. This was all true right up until the last day the restaurant was open around 2015, when it was closed in favor of a drive-thru style new Pizza Hut with no dining room, no beer pitchers, no event room, none of the old arcade games that just sat there and made money for them from kids waiting for their Pizza to be made, and the quality quickly went downhill. We still occasionally would buy Pizza Hut pizza to get that special taste that only their pizza had, but the last nail was when they changed the pan pizza recipe and deleted the flavored crust, with that much bread it needs flavor! And once we discovered what the difference was, they absolutely refused to put it on the pizza even for an extra charge, even though they use a very similar crust seasoning for other pizzas and have the items in the store. It's like they want to go out of business and they are very close to it now. They could have simplified it, for crust flavors I always thought it was kind of silly that they offered so many, but instead of limiting it to one or two they eliminated it completely and without that garlic parmesan buttery crust topping, it becomes almost inedible as it is so dry and hard and tasteless. So now we cannot ever experienced those very filling (although a bit on the pricey side) Pizza Hut pizzas as a special occasion ever again and we also will not buy their cheaper but disgusting current versions masquerading under classic names like Pizza Hut Pan super supreme, that pizza doesn't exist anymore. Pizza Hut doesn't exist anymore, it is only a name listed on a very subpar pretender. Who takes their iconic flagship product and completely kills it?, That is like McDonald's making the Big Mac just one patty, eliminating the special sauce and making it out of fake meat. But as mentioned, Casey's has managed to keep their recipe and favorites very true to how they started, they don't offer a pan style pizza unfortunately but their Pizza has been incredibly consistent for over 30 years, the price is more now but it's only inched up a dollar or so at a time, it hasn't doubled and again it's a bit pricey for takeout pizza but every time you get it it tastes how it did when you were a kid, it's good quality it's all freshly made ingredients, no Frozen crusts, and it's in a gas station! How can Pizza Hut not do this in an actual restaurant at the same price, I will never understand.
I remember very well. It was a great dining experience and the pan pizza was awesome. If ReviewBrah was alive back then and had these memories that we share, he would have given this a --2 out of 10.
Pizza Hut should get rid of their "melts" and bring back the PZone, especially the meaty and pepperoni ones. Those who like the supreme PZone, I hope they bring that one back for you guys too. The PZone was awesome! The PZone is a million times better than those wimpy "Melts".
I just personally dont see how the melts are ever worth it. 8+ dollars for basically 2 pieces of pizza but you can pay a little bit more and get an entire pizza lol. Maybe I need to try one to understand it but yeah
I've never been on a fast-food focus group, and I wonder what kind of feedback they would give to menu items like this. Something like, "It's OK, I guess" to all questions? 🤔
Nah, they know this would take reviewbrah's content from him, they wouldn't dare to do such a thing! But yeah, in seriousness, one does wonder if they ever taste/test their launch, obviously state is subjective but c'mon, brah it shutting you down this hard unless you yourself as the product maker know its bad.
The problem with fast food items is that you need to be able to ensure consistency and it's probably hard to find testers to make the recipe whom are authentically drunk/high people who don't give a fuck.
So usually I like just running into these on chance; they're informative, I get to see the food, the detailing and info and research really helps. But straight up I was WAITING for this one since I saw a promo for it. Thank you!
Remember when they ruled the 1980s and 90s fastfood pizza scene? Well, I dont because I wasnt alive or too young to remember, but my parents have talked about it before like Pizza Hut was the proverbial water oasis in a desert of garbage food back in those days.
Just speculation, but I think the reason for the melts/papadias is they seem like a way to minimize the expensive ingredients like cheese and meat while maximizing the low cost ingredients like crust, which if true I prefer this method of improving margins to shrinkflation.
As a former Pizza Hut employee I can say with confidence that Pizza Hut is not bad, but its not worth the price. I find charging people $12 for 6 wings is ridiculous. And charging $18-$24 for fast food pizza is even more ridiculous when you can go to a good local pizza joint and get a better pizza for the same price! I still don't understand how they are still in business.
As a former Pizza Hut manager, I can say with confidence that Pizza Hut is absolutely terrible. It is, by far, the worst chain pizza. Their overpriced wings are their only saving grace.
18 24 dollars will buy me enough ingredients to make chinese food that will last for days or the most hearty meaty cheesy soup you've ever had. Eating out is for lazy people with too much money and not enough common sense. I rather just pay less money and enjoy making something far superior to anything you can buy. Nobody makes better food than me, so i'm not paying more for something worse.
@@Pax_Mayn3 This is exactly it. People complain that every generation from millennials on down are "killing" industries. No - so many companies have provided higher prices for lower quality, and we've decided it's not worth it anymore. Over the last 10 years I took up cooking as a hobby and even learned a lot about brewing since covid. Now instead of going out and spending like $100 per couple at any halfway decent food establishment, friends would rather meet up at my house for much better and affordable dinners.
We ordered 2 pizzas last week, 1 stuffed crust and 1 2 topping. For 2 pizzas it cost forty dollars. That had to have been a rip off or a mistake. Should have been about $32 for 2 pizzas and bread sticks.
A new video from Reviewbrah! My joy is immeasurable and my Memorial Day is made! 🥰👍 That looked like two pizza slices slapped together. Our local Pizza Hut closed a couple years ago.
Brah doesn't actually host a fast food review show. Brah's a historian working in real time to record and catalogue the weekly degeneration of a dying empire by recording the continuous decline in the quality and value of the foodstuffs it produces.
Absolute surgical level of precision guided devastation in the description of this failed Pizza Hut product. This is what we love, what we expect, and why we return to the eternal reviews of Reviewbrah. I tip my hat to you, good sir

@@85jongo I agree. The adventurous spirit of cuisine should be through the creation of new combinations of ingredients. Not by frankenstein-ing recipes that exist in their own space together and calling it food. Especially in the fast food market.
@@85jongo First world problems where people get bored and the restaurants want to keep making a ton of dough (no pun intended), so they come up with gimmicks to try and attract customer interest and stuff. Sometimes it works out, but most of the time you just get weird combinations of food. It's really just a product of the world we live in. People want new things, and companies want money. So this outcome was basically guaranteed to happen given the circumstances.
Ordered a melt 20 minutes before my lunch and it took 10 minutes to get to the store. The order wasn't even ready! Waited another 10 minutes before it was done, leaving me 10 minutes to eat and get back to work. The melt was overcooked and hard and crunchy. Complained to Pizza Hut and all they did was send an email saying "sorry". What happened to trying to make up by giving a coupon or something?
This whole thing smells like a plan to me. Extremely dubious that not just the food industry is down but all of it. Movies, food, video games, cars, clothes, services absolutely all are against the citizen and very poor quality and extremely expensive. Everything is poor quality and all industries are getting worse and worse. It seems as if someone wants this in an intentional way. It's happening all over the world and I personally don't like where these things are going.

Pizza Hut used to be top tier but have completely lost quality in every department. I am so disappointed that theres no integrity in any of these companies anymore. Maybe there never was.
Super-sized guy got an Oscar for eating fast food for 30 days and pretending to die. Reviewbrah been doin it for years and still in shape. Give this man an Oscar.
The pizza hut in the 80's and early 90's taste like a sit down restaurant pizza. After they stopped serving booze the food changed and the pizza tasted strange. I had the new york style pizza recently it was pretty good. But i had a new yorker a few months before that and literally through up hours later because it was so salty. It depends on which pizza hut you go to i guess. they have been getting better lately
It tasted better because they weren't using processed ingredients. Everything was better back then. The Tostinos party pizzas used to be very good, but now taste like cardboard. I don't eat processed junk food anymore or soda, and eat Whole Foods and I feel good and have enough energy to do 100 pushups every morning. When I ate strictly fast food, I couldn't walk up the stairs without being out of breath. Now that I don't eat that crap anymore, I'm getting built, and women hit on me more.
The fact that fast food companies don't come to Reviewbrah to test their new ideas BEFORE releasing them is insane. Any PR firm would be smart to freelance contract out to him for his HONEST opinion (so not salaried or contractually limited to one company to avoid bias). He'd still be able to keep the channel going with both good and bad reviews though, with companies that don't do this with him, or when a company's delicious idea works in theory but not day to day practices. Reviewbrah should be sitting on his MANSION back porch reviewing these things with all of the useful feedback he's given.
I assume they cook it while it's folded, so it likely steams the inside, which is what'll cause that sliminess and the beef to be watery when normally that wateriness would've been cooked out under the oven's heat, but because this is folded, that traps that moisture. At least, this is my assumption. I don't work back there, but if I had to guess, that's likely the issue. Opening it and throwing it under the broiler would likely fix a lot of the issues, but having to cook something you ordered cooked is a true slap in the face tbh.
Just about every fast food place (and that’s what Pizza Hut has morphed into) is in this race to the bottom now, squeeze as much profit as they can out of us, while reducing product size/quality , that thing looks like something from a school cafeteria
Pizza Hut'a Melts are terrible... and I love their pizza and their wings. The melts are awful. They tried to copy Papa Johns and somehow spectacularly failed. I have no doubt your description is accurate; thanks for saving me from risking this. "Slimy." Ew.
Anyone remember when Pizza Hut had the Chicago style deep dish in the early 2000's? It wasn't authentic Chicago style, of course, but was pretty damn good. I wish they'd bring it back. That, and the Edge pizza. The Edge seasoning was so good.
I am a huge fan of pan pizzas and Chicago deep dish, but the best tasting Pizza Pizza I ever got was called Sicilian style, and it was rectangular and had a certain spice to the crust and sauce that I still remember to this day, but of course they don't offer it anymore but offer silly things and gimmicks like these melts. And you touched on something about that crust flavoring, since they deleted that as even an extra pay for option on the pan pizza, the crust is edible, dry, dende, chewy, and tasteless! Even though they still offer a flavor crust on stuffed crust and other pizzas, they have the ingredients right there and absolutely refuse to put it on the pan pizza, at extra cost, as if they are trying to get it to fail. Part of the beauty of the pan pizza was the crusts at the end were kind of like their flavored breadsticks, now they aren't even good to give to the dog. You can't really add it yourself at home because part of what made the pan pizza so good is the entire pan was sprayed with the buttery flavoring, so just trying to butter the tops of the crust at home takes away the nice crispy buttery flavor of the entire crust and underneath the pizza as well. They really have sunk their trademark flagship product and it does seem like they are trying to go out of business.
"And those are my impressions. The world is ending. There it is: the sky is going black. My day, nay, my Memorial Day weekend, has been ruined because of this Cheeseburger Melt."
Here in our town of Plymouth, Indiana upper management RUINED the Taco Pizza. They stopped putting orange Doritos chips on it. Replaced it with a different crappy chip. They got away from Cavatini, and no more meaty ziti. I refuse to go there anymore.
The way ReviewBruh described the mystery meat and onions mixture, it wouldn't surprise me if they get pre-portioned frozen packets and throw them in the microwave.
To be honest, it actually didn’t look too bad but I’ll definitely take your word for it 💯. I haven’t seen you this mad at your food in awhile. That was a very sophisticated shot at Pizza Hut lol… As always, good shit my guy. Keep it up 👍🏾🦾💪🏾
I find that pizza hut and dominos both have an overwhelmingly salty taste to their pizzas now. Every bite, no matter the ingredients, just tastes like salt. It wasn't always like that, i remember thoroughly enjoying pizza from both places when i was younger.

Just coming out of the box you could tell that melt was garbage.
(Which sounds like you didn't even try the cheeseburger one, you tried a different one)
Do you expect him to go out and buy from every single pizza hut in his state just to be allowed to say it's bad? I bet if he did, you would say he needs to buy from every one in the country. And if he did that, I bet you would say he needs to buy them from a different country. Because you liked a melt months ago, and you can't be wrong, so you say that his review was done wrong and that he's not allowed to criticize the product or the company. 😂
The way honest reviews work, is you get what you get and you review it.

"This...*THING* from Pizza Hut."
Grew up in a small Midwest town where Pizza Hut used to be packed every night for years. Now, after decades, the place is deserted. People would rather have pizza from Casey’s (a gas station/convenience store) nearby. Pizza Hut is in an absolute free fall.
i guess they also got venture capd.
i read an interesting article about red lobster today, basically a big investment firm bought them, forced them into a bad deal (limitless shrimp) because that would make one of their other clients richer, and THEN dumped the firm to another vencap firm, which sold all the store locations to other equities, forcing red lobster to pay rent from that point on, and then it went over after 60 years

Facts
When they had the pizza calzones, those were my favorite items on the menu. I got them all the time and was sad when they pulled them from the menu. When they introduced the melt, I thought it would be the same thing but it tasted nothing like it and I was disappointed
Oh they are. Randomly had one last night
it is shocking how fast the decline has been, it was within the last 10 years that we still had a large, dine-in Pizza Hut where they would bring the pizza out and put it on a cooling stand at the center of the table, you ciuld get pitchers of beer to celebrate an occasion with a group of friends, and there was always a side room for birthday parties and other events.
What a rant.
I remember very well. It was a great dining experience and the pan pizza was awesome. If ReviewBrah was alive back then and had these memories that we share, he would have given this a --2 out of 10.
That's what it looks like?

Eh. Supreme was still better than the pepperoni. Couldn't NONE of em touch the original run though.

A burger, wrapped in a quesadilla, served at a pizza parlor. Brilliant.
he looks at it with such contempt after the first bite. like "why are doing this to me"
Just speculation, but I think the reason for the melts/papadias is they seem like a way to minimize the expensive ingredients like cheese and meat while maximizing the low cost ingredients like crust, which if true I prefer this method of improving margins to shrinkflation.
Pizza Hut was my favorite for most of my life until they stopped using fresh in house dough. The quality is not there anymore.
18 24 dollars will buy me enough ingredients to make chinese food that will last for days or the most hearty meaty cheesy soup you've ever had. Eating out is for lazy people with too much money and not enough common sense. I rather just pay less money and enjoy making something far superior to anything you can buy.

Pizza Hut was great in the 80's and 90's.
I remember the big foot pizza from pizza hut that had Donald Trump in it's commercial. That was 30 years ago.
I remember the Bigfoot Pizza from Pizza Hut. It was pretty good. I don't know why they discontinued it.
I would have never expected a pizza place to fail on a burger this badly.
Here in our town of Plymouth, Indiana upper management RUINED the Taco Pizza. They stopped putting orange Doritos chips on it. Replaced it with a different crappy chip. They got away from Cavatini, and no more meaty ziti. I refuse to go there anymore.
A new video on Memorial Day! Thank you for your service, Reviewbrah!
It looks like one of the cheapest frozen pizzas that someone folded in half.
That looks awful. They really looked at that and still released it.
Ive never been so disappointed by someone elses disappointment. It hurt my heart to watch. Im so sorry you had to go through this alone.
This entirely unacceptable! What happened to the once proud tradition of pizza hut :(
The way ReviewBruh described the mystery meat and onions mixture, it wouldn't surprise me if they get pre-portioned frozen packets and throw them in the microwave.
The whole thing is pre-made and frozen. They just throw it on the conveyor belt oven to cook.
5:15 Its a huge Quesadilla 🧀😋♥️
To be honest, it actually didn’t look too bad but I’ll definitely take your word for it 💯. I haven’t seen you this mad at your food in awhile. That was a very sophisticated shot at Pizza Hut lol… As always, good shit my guy. Keep it up 👍🏾🦾💪🏾
I find that pizza hut and dominos both have an overwhelmingly salty taste to their pizzas now. Every bite, no matter the ingredients, just tastes like salt. It wasn't always like that, i remember thoroughly enjoying pizza from both places when i was younger.
