*A lot of viewers have been real thankful for our Review videos and have ask if there was a way to buy us a Beer. UA-cam now has a ‘THANKS’ button under every video, Just click the button. 😀 It’s not required or expected, but it is appreciated. THANK YOU!*
Was really only wondering what the track was for and it was the first thing you mentioned. Had to stay for the rest. Just picked up a Loon 120. Thanks for the review.
You are more than welcome. Enjoy your new Loon. We hope to have a video coming out soon about some of the adventures we have had with ours. We love these Loons!
Similarly priced to the Wilderness System Pungo 120 which is 100$ less than the O.T. Loon, both have the added dash (Loon mount is more stable, Pungo tray more convenient). Pungo 49lbs, Loon 55lbs, both have comfortable seats, Pungo 29" wide, Loon 30", Pungo holds up to 325lbs, Loon 375Lbs.... either or - can't go wrong.
Thanks for the vid. We are trying to decide betw Loon and the Pungo... I just saw a review that said the Loon is VERY unstable in wind. Can you guys give any feedback on that aspect?
Great review! Don't see too many on the water reviews of the loon and appreciate a bunch. I bought my loon 120 earlier this year and very much love it!
Nice video. Beautiful Lake. Quick question. How was the vertical clearance for your feet. I have a 6 year old Pungo 120 and its a little tight vertically for my size 12's.
I have the same size 12’s , and that clearance is an issue for me. I’ve found that if I kick my shoes off when I get in the yak I have far more room to move around.
We are glad you liked the videos. We wanted to buy them through Amazon, but they were out of stock. The supply was limited everywhere at the time. We did find a company that had 2 of them a few hours from our house for more money than Amazon, but we really wanted the so we paid a little more plus gas. We did consider buying used, but the ones we looked at were well used and over priced in our opinion. We did include our affillate Amazon link in the description box below the video.
Glad to see you guys. Heading up to Vermont/New Hampshire (Walpole) soon. Plan of moving up there next year. Checked out the cost of that "boat" as you call it. Pretty steep. Stay safe:)
@@WeRmudfun Should have watched part 1 first...lol. Spent a few hours on youtubale and I really like the one you got! Will have to find a local place that has them to see if my golden Jake fits:) Glad you guys are doing well.
@@WeRmudfun Thanks will look them up. Will be up in Walpole NH in a few weeks to visit with cousins and will be looking around. Leaning towards Vermont though and having been looking in the Andover=Weston area. I know my dog and the jeep will like it up there wherever I choose...lol.
Nice! Which pond/lake is that on? We got used Pungo 120s and love them! Been out a couple dozen tims already. I would have preferred what you had but these are very similar.
Hi Elsa! We were out on Lake Massasecum in Bradford, NH. We will be posting a new video tonight on the Contoocook River. We went there with our friends last Saturday. Great Day. Enjoy your kayaks, we love kayaking. 😀
Enjoyed both parts of the review. So it's a year later and I assume many outings in the Loon 120, are you both still happy with your purchase? My wife and I are about to pull the trigger and buy two of them.
Thank you for this…so few videos for this kayak. I just bought a Pungo 120 that looks so similar and I like it a lot but prefer the Loon’s dashboard design I think (tho I thought I wouldn’t even use it because I got the kayak with big open cockpit to take the dog…but after 3 paddles still haven’t brought her, haha)
You are welcome Scott. We weren't sure if we were going to like the work deck, but after a few paddles under our belt in the Loon, We really like this kayak. PS our dog loves going on all types of adventure, but won't go near the kayak. LOL

We never had any issues with wind and would buy these again.

Trying to decide between the loon 126 or bonafide ex123... help lol
Sorry we don't know anthing about the Bonafide ex123.
That is cool the baby loon
We thought so too. 😀
Loon's and Pungo's are the benchmark Rec Kayaks. I think the Pungo dashboards are better and there are 2 styles to choose from.
Are you still using the Loon? If so, I'd love to know how's it been holding up over time. Thanks.
We still love them. We hope to have another video coming out where we took them into some tight spaces in a bog. Keep checking back here. 😀

Thanks! We are really enjoying our Loons too.
Nice review, what paddles are you using ? The Yak looks beamy, what length we’re the paddles ? Did you feel they were long enough ?
Thanks. We use Aqua Bound Eagle Ray Hybrid 230CM. We both feel they are long enough. 😀
Very nice. Your videos are always enjoyable.
Thank you very much Jeffrey! 😀

Thank! I have size 9's, plenty of clearance for me. If you have a local dealer, you can sit in one there and see. 😀

Where did you purchase your Kayaks? Did you consider buying used? Any reccomendations on best places to find these used? Great videos. Thanks!

I'd love to hear comments, on what folks are using for a cart with the Loon? Thx
We use these... amzn.to/3AOUetA We have a video about them too... ua-cam.com/video/B0_HkpEbHJw/v-deo.html

Yes we are very happy with our purchase and are looking forward to the snow being gone so we can get back on the water.
Thanks for sharing. Like 68
Thank you too, Dennis! 😀
How does the kayak perform in choppy waters?
We have not had them out in choppy waters yet.
