Two years this model with me. Thousands of km ride with it. Great ventilation and very comfortable for me. I even tested this helmets on a naked bike for speed up to 235km/h just to get the feel of what the aerodynamic wind cutting about. Of course at that speed you want to keep your head in one direction only and not moving a lot if you don't want your visor to fly away. Hahaha. Frankly speaking....I am really impressed with the wind aerodynamic this helmet have. Unlike other helmet that seems to moves a lot at that kind of speed. Maybe it is just me.
It was very nice to get an answer from you! Unfortunately, the pinlock does not go in the box with the helmet, so you have to buy it separately! I am very pleased with the helmet. All good! I think, over time, put the SHOEI SRL NEGOTIATION DEVICE. Subscribed to your video. Waiting for new interesting video reviews!
@@goronovich_serg You're right, sorry for the wrong info. We're just so used to Shoei already providing it, but this helmet's the odd one out. But we're happy that you are pleased with the J-Cruise 2. It really is one of the top helmets out there, except for not coming with the pinlock.
Interesting review. I have a j cruise 1 and I found it pretty loud as well. I was wondering are all open face helmet louder than the quality full face helmets? I was told it was one of the best open face available. Is this true?
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, all open face helmets will be louder than a quality full face helmet simply because you have less material covering your head. With a chin bar, thicker material, and a smaller visor space the noise will already be reduced with a full face helmet. Are you thinking of going for the J-Cruise 2?
@@Championhelmets What is strange is that I own a very cheap jet helmet and a full face Shoei helmet with a chin deflector and the Shoie helmet is only a bit quieter with visors down on both helmets.
The J-Cruise 2, like most Shoei helmets does come with classes grooves in the cheek pads. Since it is also an open face helmet, this will make it even easier to easily put glasses on and take them off. However, since this may vary due to your frames, the best option would be to try the helmet on in a local store (if possible) where you can also try the glasses fit. Thanks for the question! What are your thoughts on the J-Cruise 2?
@@Championhelmets i watched your new video about compare shoei jc2 and arai szr vas already . for 80% of my mind a shoei jc2 it's my new helmet. because i still used arai ram4 every day it's a great jet helmet for me.But it doesn't have integrated sun visor it's to bad for me because i'm wear a glasses. Sun on 12.00pm in thailand it's very burn my face. and a lot of glare in evening.
Hey, thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, we don't sell the J Force IV, since it's not available here in Europe, so we're not sure when we may be able to review it. From the looks of the helmet though, it seems like the ventilation has some inspiration from the X-Spirit 3, which had good airflow when we tested it out. The main difference between the two in this case would be the J-Cruise 2 is more focused on touring comfort so it also has an internal sun visor and other features dedicated to the segment the J-Force 4 is focused on those looking for more of a sport oriented riding experience. What do you think of the J-Cruise 2?
@@Championhelmets hi sir thank you for your respon, for me i love the way of design shoei j cruise 2 and as you told it's very comfort for touring, but honestly i curious about internal sun visor because i wear eye glasses it's seem to close between internal sun visor and my eye glasses and it's will be annoying for me i think 😅😅😅. And another thing i am curious about built in sun visor will increase wind noise? i did not sure it's true or false.
@@wanzpramac As far as the fit of the sun visor with glasses, it should be similar to the fit on the first J-Cruise, since the only difference is how far the visor drops. While the sun visor itself shouldn't produce noise if it's up or down, it is possible that the slider and mechanism can contribute to noise as an extra place for air to get in. However, considering this is a jet helmet, the level of noise from spaces in the sun visor mechanism shouldn't be very noticeable since it will be loud anyway.
After a year of owning this helmet all I can say is “please please go back to the original” the original j Cruze was perfect. Just to accommodate SENA they made it far from perfect. The visor always comes down smudged now…. Instead of amazing venting on the top of your head it’s now barely vents at all. Ruined it if you ask me !
That is a nice detail that the inner sunvisor is certified as sunglasses... I love the quality of shoei

Cool review!!! And which PINLOCK model is suitable for the Shoei J-Cruise II helmet?
Thanks for the feedback! The J-Cruise 2 uses a CJ-2 visor, so it will take a CJ-2 Pinlock Evo lens. What did you think of the helmet on our road test?

This is not the most important thing that is not included in the pinlock kit. The main helmet! And he is truly the best! And beautiful! :)

Can i equip it with my Sena 10u comm systen?
The J-Cruise 2 is built to integrate directly into the Sena SRL2, so unfortunately it won't be possible to add your Sena 10U. Thanks for the question!

That's a fair assessment, the lack of the sun visor is likely the Arai's greatest failing since in all other aspects it is a great helmet
