Nikon fills a market segment where previous models were not competitive against the competition. But is it too late? In recent years, many photographers and photo enthusiasts have chosen to abandon the brand in favor of Sony, Canon, and Fuji. It's evident that since the production of mirrorless cameras began, Nikon has fallen behind. The new Nikon Z6 III seems to be an excellent camera on paper. Personally, I've always used Nikon, with their extraordinary DSLRs. I've also worked with the Nikon Z6 II professionally, but I found it unreliable for eye detection autofocus, etc. Consequently, I switched to Sony and, staying in the same segment, I find the Sony 7 IV exceptional. Moreover, Sony's lens lineup is very extensive. Despite Nikon's high-quality build, viewfinder, and display, I won't go back. I think too much importance is given to technology. Personally, what I look for in a professional camera is reliable autofocus, quality, and feel. With Sony, for years, I've been able to get what I had with Nikon DSLRs. I still hope that Nikon achieves the success it deserves with this new camera, but I think the competition is very fierce and that it's difficult for those who have switched to other brands to decide to go back, especially for economic reasons
I have a nikon d7200 and I recently discovered it's a crop. I've had this camera for more than 5 years and I always thought it was full frame. I was ready to switch to sony full frame but after this launch and all of my dslr nikon lenses, I don't see myself switching
I wish they had released this a few years back. So many wedding photographers gave up and jumped ship to Canon and Sony. The autofocus on the Z6 and Z6II just wasn't there.
respectfully speaking to many photographers cry and complain about autofocus as if nobody got good accurate dialed in focused shots back in the day. autofocus has been overhyped and blown way out of porportion. if youre speaking on catching the right photo at a nascar event when the car at full speed or catching a focused split second nature wild life shot understood. but 90% of people like yourself are talking about catching a shot at a wedding? plenty photographers get better shots with cameras that have way worse autofocus. and all cameras literally all of them no matter what anyone does miss shots and take out of focus pictures.
I wish i had the chance to meet in person and watch everything you doing.. i really like ur videos you just let everyone know from your view… thanks from the videos
what is that "waves" of nasty dark colors in the background of the pictures? is it because of the sensor of the camera or just errors in the process of color grading? you don't see this with your eyes in the real world, why are cameras still so bad when it comes to this?
Pointing out that this camera can do full res JPEGs at 120 fps while the Z9 can only do 11 MP JPEGs.. 🤯 plus it has better EVF and IBIS. It really makes the Z6III feel like a better buy if you don’t need 45 MP or 8K.
A flip screen for me and a lot of people is a hard pass, i dont underestand why in hell couldnt they put the z8 or an a7rV style screen at least, so no compromises for anyone, but no. Lets cater only to vloggers...
@@Isaypreach A flip screen has its advantages, but the traditional tilt screen caters more for photographers rather than videographers. Having your screen off to the side every time you want to tilt it can be a pain, and its also not inline with your lens when its off to the side, which can make subject alignment a bit harder, especially with close subjects. The other thing is a flip screen is not as robust as a normal tilt screen. Personally I would prefer a tilt screen like the Z6ii, as I rarely use my camera for video and never use it for vlogging, so having a flip out screen is pretty much useless for myself. So for general photography, a tilt screen is generally preferred, but I definitely don't see this as a deal breaker and it wouldn't stop me from upgrading to the Z6iii

I still hope that Nikon achieves the success it deserves with this new camera, but I think the competition is very fierce and that it's difficult for those who have switched to other brands to decide to go back, especially for economic reasons
good job on the outro lol. It felt natural for you!
I have a nikon d7200 and I recently discovered it's a crop. I've had this camera for more than 5 years and I always thought it was full frame. I was ready to switch to sony full frame but after this launch and all of my dslr nikon lenses, I don't see myself switching
I see the ceiling rail system in the studio is holding up still.
Enjoyed that. Thanks!
Great Video!!
Is your barber a woman? The attention to detail is immaculate.
Or a gay male😂
What happened to a photograph camera just to take photos? Period
I wish i had the chance to meet in person and watch everything you doing.. i really like ur videos you just let everyone know from your view… thanks from the videos
MASSIVE WIN for Nikon. What an incredible tool for an amazing price.
Great specs and camera but apparently you can't record video to both cards at the same time for a back up. That's a huge issue.
Looks like a great camera! Model shots looked fire too
I can deal with the cons about Dynamic range issues of the Z6-3 in exchange for the autofocus features and video
Beautiful woman. Impressive photos. Piękna Kobieta. Imponujące kadry.
For $2500 that is a great price but does that include taxes you have to pay? Here in the UK its £2700 but then the Z8 is £3200.
R6ii or Z6iii if you were switching systems and had no gear in either ecosystem and are a hybrid shooter that leans more toward photos
z6iii because nikons lenses are cheaper and you have more lense option because of third party manufactures
Z8 still the best camera for nikon user
For me. It's the Z9 that's best for my work flow.
what is that "waves" of nasty dark colors in the background of the pictures? is it because of the sensor of the camera or just errors in the process of color grading? you don't see this with your eyes in the real world, why are cameras still so bad when it comes to this?
One issue I see is that demand outweirghts supply and there is going to be mark ups due to the populaity of the camera....
But how far away is the Expeed 8 and the bodies that will go into.
Pointing out that this camera can do full res JPEGs at 120 fps while the Z9 can only do 11 MP JPEGs.. 🤯 plus it has better EVF and IBIS. It really makes the Z6III feel like a better buy if you don’t need 45 MP or 8K.
Can the nikon z6iii touch the subject selection screen to lock and track the subject when filming like the canon r6ii?
Using Sony A7iii from past 6 years it still serves me well but i get tempted to upgrade by the kinds of feature all brands are offering these days.
Sony A7 v should be announced in 6-9 months history indicates.
Just got the Z8 and i’m having banding in HSS mode with godox ad400s faster than 1/1000s. such a shame there’s no mechanical shutter
It’s godox
Who cares about the camera, your work is rad.
Thought they would increase sensor resolution
Probably reserved for z7 iii 😂
@@cashmirmichael9806 thought that would be 50 Mp
Great video Manny. Going to be interesting to see how sony responds with, I assume, the A7v?
Have that sensor have better dynamic range from bsi cmos in z6 ii?
We will find out in about a month...
Thumbs up if you have enough cameras already, but came for the model.
i still wondering hows the focus on z6iii
Disregarding the "crappier" AF this body is everything the Sony A7 IV should have been. Great performance for the price.
How does the Z6 compare to the A7 IV
i recently bough a7rv not even sure how this compares. still a newbie
Where is made in? Thanks!!
How does someone with over 700k subscribers put out blatantly wrong information? The z6iii does NOT shoot 24mp at 120fps
With the acquisition of RED, Nikon is now “competing with its cinema cameras, like Sony and Canon. That said great review!
no one is gong to mention how hard that intro music hit? lol.
£2700 in the UK, which is about 3500 USD - the price of Z8 in the US. This is ridiculous!
A Nikon Z7iii between 2500 to 3k would be nice
A flip screen for me and a lot of people is a hard pass, i dont underestand why in hell couldnt they put the z8 or an a7rV style screen at least, so no compromises for anyone, but no. Lets cater only to vloggers...
What's the issue with flip screen if I may ask? Cause i shoot with the z6ii and always wanted a flip screen instead of a tilt
Dual card video recording ?
Nope, unfortunately it doesn’t have dual card video recording.
@@MrPhotog7 Unreal.. How do you explain to a client that you have a high-performance camera but that can't shoot dual card and that's why you lost the footage?
@@giuliamocristi1021easy…if you are a pro and know that it doesn’t record to both, you use a Ninja V…If you know the limitation and you don’t prepare for it, then that is your fault pro…or how about you use what you already have pro…this isn’t the camera for you but you wanted to throw a negative into the mix…nice try there pro.
120fps jpegs for 2500. A9 III leaves the chat.
LOL funny!
Respectfully...will you ever answer your email on your website?
Lumix s5iix matches it in video btw
120 fps with apsc or full frame
APCS 1.5 crop
Time for Sony to update the A7IV
This is good for cameras!
