Delightful as always! Also I was just knitting on the toe of a DRK Everyday Sock, so perfect timing to be knit-fluenced by you to do stockinette on the bottom of the foot and the ribbing elsewhere. Gorgeous sweaters you've been making -- plus you've nearly convinced me to make my first SpinCycle purchase and make a Shift cowl.

I'm working in gusset while watching 😂 they are tedious, aren't they?! They are perfect for my feet tho so I keep on with it.
I'm knitting the Vår socks. If you want some of that slow joy knitting, I highly recommend this pattern.
Just had to comment as I’m watching this wearing my Badana! Complete coincidence😅. I knit mine with the badana yarn which is worsted/aran weight plus kidsilk haze and its a lovely combo. Have to agree about the VM! I spent a LOT of time picking out prickles/wood/straw but did expect it so decided to embrace the slower process. Hope to see your finished one soon!
Visited Rosa Pamara shop at the beginning of March. Beautiful yarns and managed to come home with half a suitcase full!! Looking forward to knitting the Tori pattern by Alex Byrd.

Loved seeing Les Garçons Fluff up close - that darker colour is stunning and we have a local supplier in Australia now which is great. Also inspired by your Badana cardigan - I have that edition of Laine and we’re heading into winter now so mentally going through my stash whilst knitting the Indian cross stitch rows on Joji’s Hipster shawl that I’m knitting for a friend - in between other projects, this is its second year so….
I am also in my cardigan era. I just finished the building blocks drop cards by Aimee Sher and I am about to cast on the traveler cardigan by Andrea mowry

Lovely episode Jonathon. I picked up a skein of Jonathon’s soft days sock yarn at at Unravel. I’ll be making some good functional socks with it! Am currently knitting on my Autumn Alpine with Yarnadelic from John Arbon, I’m hoping to finish in time to take it to their mill open weekend in June.

Wow! That sweater looks amazing! I just finished a test knit colorwork cowl for a friend. In a week I'll be traveling to Seattle and was trying to think of a good travel knit for a week's trip. Of course: the Shift will be perfect. I've also knit two already. Both were gifted to friends. I have the yarn for one for me. So that's what I'm taking. Thanks for the suggestion! If I'm lucky I'll finish my newest cast-on before I leave - the Aeria Shawl by L. Ornstein. Or I'll finish it when I get back. Thanks for another fun video! Greetings from near Washington, DC

I love cardigans too, I’m on the hunt for the perfect aran cabled cardigan pattern. Also I keep looking at the hide and hammer bags but haven’t purchased yet, seeing yours has prompted me to just get one 😊
You make such beautiful projects! I was just thinking about how now you can make entire outfits - from socks to hats! You have fabulous taste so I admire all your work. I was wondering about that nightfall, do I make one for my dad (he's VERY knit-worthy), and I think your version convinced me to :) But right now I'm workin on a test-knit for Lucienne Tricote, it's a kid sized sweater with cats for my youngest son. I'm knitting it in Peer Gynt from Sandnes Garn and I totally get what you say about grass and moss stuck in the yarn being itchy.

Jonathan! As a knitter from Ireland do you know of any farms that have the sheep and make the wool and yarn all in the same place? I’m going to Ireland in may and I’d love to visit a place where I can pet sheep and buy beautiful yarn 😊
Hi Jonathan! I see that you knit your socks with small circular needles. I use and like the magic loop technique but it’s a bit annoying to move the stitches from one needle to the other. So I decided to buy some small circular needles but I have tried them and I feel that they stretch the sock too much. Could you give us some tips to use them?. 😊thanks
If you try going down to 2.25mm for your socks, they may felt less. That has been my experience 👍
