It’s time for a super Saturday showdown!
First up we’ve got Mat in the Lamborghini Huracan Performante. With a 5.2-litre V10 hiding under the bonnet, it’ll put down an impressive 640hp & 600Nm of torque!
Alongside him, we’ve got the Audi R8, which is also sporting the same 5.2-litre V10 under the bonnet. However, unlike the Lamborghini, this tuned R8 will ‘just’ put out 600hp and 580Nm of torque.
So how about the GT-R? Well, it may only have a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 under the bonnet. However, it’s been tuned by Litchfield! And as a result, it puts down 670hp and 830Nm of torque!
So the GT-R clearly has the performance advantage, but, it’s also the heaviest! Will that work against it over the quarter-mile? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

I used to do quite a bit of RWYB drag days and you would be amazed how many newbies do the same, they see the line coming and lift off and brake as soon as its in their eye line.

I think this is the first time when all the cars were close in the sound test and each of them sounded great in their own way.
It's weird that R8 didn't won because it has one of the quickest gearboxes in the world.

It wasn’t even the top V10 Plus , model which has revised chassis , different gearing and reworked Quattro system and puts down power better and engine (610 hp) this one regular variant (prefacelift) is supposed to have 560 hp if not more , no wonder it lost cuz {Plus} models eat r35 day and night in drag races no matter wether they are equipped with stock or less restrictive / better flowing exhaust.
That guy driving the GTR wound me right up, he couldn't even get a simple drag race right.
See the times, it would still lose to the performante.
Not keeping up with the rolling races felt like cheating because he probably still was in boost from rolling up. (and he didn't need that)

Carwow is the most lowkey biased channel against a GTR. If you would notice, they wouldnt put a stock GTR against any german or italian car if they knew the nissan is gonna win. They have to say its “tuned” or race it against an american car to show it won, but never against European.
@@justinsundiam Its not bias. It the knowledge that the GTR can keep up with (on paper), cars that should destroy it. Its like the 911 Turbo, only 650bhp but they race it against anything stupid fast because in reality, the 911 Turbo is unreasonably fast.

The cheapest alternative and enough performance for sprints and braking is my daily favourite GTR,and the noise level when revving (+ 118 dB) is almost the same level like R8

Well the R8 V10 Plus has 610 Hp instead of 600 Hp and the Plus Modell has another transmission software which makes it even faster and let if Rev a bit higher. Furthermore the Performance Modell has the Performance mode which the normal one doesnt have
For me that's a no Brainerd definitely GTR. I rather choose reliability and simplicity rather than for aesthetic, for me that's the perfect definition of a Sports Car
