I started making buildings from the hold down bolts to the roof purlings in 1980. Also painted all lintels and uni versal beams, columns everything. This was back when Australian builders worked to the Australian standard.

I'm not a builder, I'm a fabricator, I fabricate. The problem here is in the design, the architect hasn't given clear instructions or the builder hasn't followed instructions correctly. You missed something by the way, the garage door isn't installed correctly and will start making a lot of noise very quickly. Good luck.
