Hoglander ate the goalie's lunch on that second goal. Also look at Miller's goal -- pass to Boeser at the goal line; the goalie is distracted looking at Boeser while Miller is winding up for a slap shot. Pass back to Miller and in -- goalie never saw it coming. Canucks scored a lot with that trick this season.

When the guys love a goalie, they are willing to put their bodies on the line for the guy, and seeing everyone diving into pucks for Casey says a lot about him. And then Casey plays solid enough that we aren't scrambling with Demko gone. And its just feeds into itself.

Canucks should switch positions on the PP with Pettersson and Suter. Everyone knows what Pettersson's game is on the PP and rarely gets any SOG from the boards. He's not Shorty but I actually think this guy is getting better. I remember games last year (I think he might be the Oilers regular?) where he didn't do a very good job hiding his disappointment. He's been much more neutral recently. It's good I think. He calls a pretty clean game overall. The color guy is not as interesting as Tomlinson or Ferraro. But then they're not as good as Garret....lol. We're just spoiled in Vancouver having the Jims and Shorty. They're probably the best in the entire league so everyone is going to feel like a step down.

I thought the two goals that Casey allowed were pretty soft ones that he SHOULD have had, and I wasn't a big fan of the way the Cauncks spent so much of the 3rd period hanging back.
But they made the most of their opportunities.
    Overall, a satisfying win.

First one yes. 2nd one was harder, so no. Great shot and he was screened by his own player.
