getting goosebumps, feeling happy, feeling as if everything has stopped or feel like crying doesn't mean an encounter with god or feeling his presence, these feelings are all mind induced and can be achieved by many different modes like music, dancing, after completing a hard task, exercising etc.
Yeah ..when I m feel so sad .I used to listen songs ..go somewhere.i feel good..but when I use to find peace in mandir .or in any meditation I can't find peace..I don't know...people do meditation.go to mandir ..church etc..to feel good but when I go there for a little moment I feel good ..but after coming back I feel same sadness ...it's not work for me

My psychiatrist prescribed me meditation not because he wants me to experience bliss, he wants to change the neural pathways created by my unresolved trauma by making me think about it. It not in anyway gives me bliss .
And yet some people get bliss by murdering people and animals, committing sexual violence and other terrible things. If source of bliss is the same , why don't you let them free and blame sachitanand?

If you are young under 30 forget my message and enjoy ridiculing everything just as you can. But if you are 30 plus and serious to know the question of why the universe and what's your role and all mind-bending shenanigans go understand Vedanta. Meditation and God are two different things. I can't agree with the religious man, he said, scriptures says to meditate! he didn't mention which scriptures says that? there are dozens of religions and their thousands of scriptures has different customs and practices and even various definitions of God and each one claims to be true without proper evidence! that's the reason many people prefer to be non religious. But meditation is scientifically proven and it has nothing to do with God, that's all I can say as a non religious person.
As a human being I have desires, if religion gives me a tool to fulfill those desires, without harming anyone else, I would do that.

Ancient indic traditions/ religion like Jainism and Buddhism mostly based on meditation but still they never claim it's a path to god. These traditions are atheistic in nature. Deep Meditation brings ego death, then you'll know that you are connected with this universe that's it.
How can someone disprove that there is no dragon flying on the surface of the sun you can experience it when you enter in his domain via meditation or something like that.

What is related with medication and god. Medication is is a kind of exercise and why the guy bring god in between
Whatever meditation anybody does its just experiencing subjective feelings and sensations. Difference between different meditation technics is just that which feelings and sensation one tries to focus on. If you are trying to feel bliss and concentrated on feeling bliss your body will make you feel bliss and sensation attributed to bliss like airy light clam sensation sensation inside you. It doesn't even come immediately. One has to do it regularly then the body mechanism learns to amplify that feeling and sensation. You can do the same with any negative feelings too! Meditation can be good for concentration and knowing ones emotional state. Beyond that meditation doesn't provide any knowledge. Knowledge can only be acquired by dealing with practical reality and verifiable experimentation. Anything that isn't experimentally verifiable is just a philosophy/theory on the subject matter and however beautiful and logical philosophy/theory may sound has no practical application until it can be used for practical purposes.

Meditation is awareness of your every moment that is awareness of your deep sleep also and ultimately yu can be aware of your death process that is also a moment do yu are seperate from your body and mind so soul is always there and iternal

I meditate, earlier when I was religious, i felt whatever meditation guides told me which were religious (Godly). But now since I am an atheist i just experience meditation as all good feels without God.

I practiced meditation about an year, one Man(Called Prem Rawat) told me that this is real happiness that you are searching for but I never satisfied with that only yeah during that time I feel peace but after that Nothing has changed. They are also believer but they told us they're not why because he practiced meditation or Sadhana but why they're angry, they cry, they are greedy.... they're just like another common man...
