- Prof. Peter C. Gøtzsche is a physician, medical researcher, author of numerous books, and co-founder of the famous Cochrane Collaboration, an organization formed in 1993 to conduct systematic reviews of medical research in the interest of promoting unbiased evidence-based science and improving health care.
During his tenure with Cochrane, Gøtzsche fought to uphold Cochrane’s original values of transparency, scientific rigor, free scientific debate, and collaboration. However, in spite of its charter, when Gøtzsche attempted to correct the path of consensus science or point to industry-related bias, Cochrane sought to censor him. He was eventually expelled from the organization in 2018 after what he calls a Kafkaesque “show trial.”
Gøtzsche’s expulsion created rifts in the medical and scientific communities. John Ioannidis, a famed professor and medical researcher at Stanford, wrote a letter to the Danish Minister of Health condemning Cochrane’s actions. “Peter is undoubtedly a giant, one of the greatest scientists of our times … I believe that basic respect for scientific discourse requires that you do not eliminate your opponents through administrative machinations,” he wrote. Additionally, 3,500 scientists and health-care professionals signed a letter in protest of Gøtzsche’s treatment.
In this talk, delivered as part of a CrossFit Health event at CrossFit Headquarters on June 8, 2019, Gøtzsche shares the research that led to his fallout with Cochrane - research related to antidepressants and other pharmaceuticals, mammograms, and more - as well as his firsthand experiences as he witnessed what he characterizes as Cochrane’s moral collapse.

Even pharma owners as she is, are against the overuse of drugs. She saw an elderly couple eating the same set of drugs, because it was convenient for the couple, to go to a pharma store and save time, or whatever reason they had. Dont be fooled by the system. It's ridiculous. Two people can not have the same diagnosis.
They may have the same symptoms from the same drugs... But not the same cause of illness. Everybody is different.
Drugs should be short-term, but not long-term.
Drugs should heal, not cause other health problems.
If a doctor asks the patient, how much water you drink, water is free,
how often do you exercise go to nature for a walk to breathe fresh air, exercise is for free, and the pharma stores would have less to sell.
Dr. Anna Lembke says doctors were lying about the opioid depression pills, having no side effects...
actually, long-term use can contribute to depression if you dont heal the cause of the depression.
It caused opioid pandemics.
Also, Professor Dr. Bruce Lipton said the medics in school are taught to just prescribe the drugs.
And he also says the statistics about cholesterol are misinterpretations of the facts, because everybody is different, so you can not make some basic statistics if the body of every patient is different.
As Dr. Joe Dispenza says the body itself is the greatest pharmacy because it creates its own healthy hormones,.
Happ mood increases immunity in 4 days by 50 percent.
Going for a walk in nature increases the immunity of the body by 30-40 percent.

Dr. Gotzsche is correct, honest and a modern hero . But we can't just leave it up to a few heros . More and more of us have to support them, defend them, grow in numbers and become modern heros ourselves . But i disagree with true hero Dr.Gotzsche that heroism is genetic . All of us can learn to become heros with the support and strength in numbers to be heros and whistleblowers .

My pediatricians that brought me in to the world, 3 of them all around 1990 said the healthcare in America had become so horrible from insurance controlling them and over prescribing drugs. Science and freedom are about as far today from together as they were in the middle ages

Professor Peter is a genuine hero. I wished I’d discovered his work 3 decades or more ago when he first aired his views. With everything I read or watch I always research and triangulate fact from fiction. I can honestly say that all of what Professor Peter has said or written is fully corroborated as truth. I am somewhat surprised, but perhaps not if the Big Pharma has had a hand in effectively collaborating to keep his work out of the main stream media. As I write I am disappointed that less than 400 has clicked a like to this video. More than ever in this Covid-19 pandemic era, his views and exposure of the criminal activities of Big Pharma must be exposed for the greater good of humanity

"No, I don't believe in diagnosis. I know how to make one. It is an article of faith. I disbelieve in it. I know what it is, just like I know what witches are!"'

Is there any evidence that cataract surgery could result in a decline of global health in certain cohorts of recipients?
@@apatheiaconvivium8002 I would say cataract is one of a cost effective procedures. The benefits of cataract surgeries outweigh the complications esp now with the new technologies. I still do full time practice performing surgeries. I combined with Ancient Wisdom in guiding my patients for lifestyle changes. If not he will develop other eye problem or other medical problem if he continues his current lifestyle.
@@apatheiaconvivium8002 Unless a severe complication happens after the cataract surgery to cause the decline of the patient's health. Sadly is cataract surgery is performed in early cataract or what we called Refractive Lens Exchange as many do not want to use reading glasses or want to be glasses free nowadays with the implantation of Multifocal Intraocular Lens which has its own limitations.

Why touch your eyes when your vision is good? Wearing a reading glasses just need some adaptation to your lifestyle anyway.

Wonderful I am a 77 yr old retired police officer and studied kirkegarde an Albert Camus @nd then in my 50 the Gitas and upanishads . Ramana Maharshi . My main purpose was investigation of child abuse because no other police wanted anything to do with it. even today there is little interest. I could walk into a school and look at children at play and in class and could pick out those being bullied ..physically abused and sexually abused. I was hated when I attended social care meetings with social workers. Some of them were very dedicated and did their jobs the others were like the police would walk around their offices all day drinking coffee and carrying a page to look as they were busy. The egocentric mind is always in charge in this three dimensional world. People like us loners are outside the box …the establishment is in the middle and will resist intrusion of new ideas or truth. I loved C.G Jung …I feel that sigmund Freud was a strange character.. it is strange also that his grandson was accused of child abuse….im anti divoc 91 and face nappies not vaxed

peter Gotzsche is a smart man and has alot of good information but he doesn't talk much about our diet which i just as important to have overall good health, he says eat what you want that's not true there natural laws we have to obey to be healthy, i'm so glad Dr. Breggin has taken up a vegan diet it gives me some hope to keep going!

Yes, so true re psychiatry. It killed my son when an irresponsible doctor overmedicated him, making him a depressed zombie, & as a result he committed suicide. The side effect of many drugs, “may cause suicidal ideations” is a deadly one.

@janetpatteson8474 My heart hurts for you. I am so sorry about your dear Son. It is always a fight to advocate for them, but even harder when they are adults. The medical world is not always or rarely on our side.
I have two Sons-- one with brain Cancer tumors and one with diagnosed "depression ". I cannot express how much I wish the second Son would stop taking those prescriptions that are not helping. But he is an adult that has received some bad advice, just like so many others. Thankfully-- He is finally off benz- os. He also has spoken of suicide and has gotten therapy for it. But it is always there like the cancer.
My Daughter is well-- but her Daughter has a feeding tube - due to an unknown diagnosis? Then how can they justify that as a diagnosis?? Which I would never accept. She is also in a different state than me .
My youngest with the tumors is the only one still living at home.

Shocking, not!Please watch this and think about he is saying. My sanity has been taking away from me because of a major disaster that my general pracitioner started me on antidepressants and am unable to function in life now. I wish it was not true, but the fact is the fact.

Most of the Board at Cochrane stuck to their industrial Ethics, money making and societal pressures - instead of scientific rigor, patient-centered medicine, and Mental Health - which must be based on developing a mental + emotional cathexis for all!

Anyone can become a happy genius - it's a matter of aesthetic training, education, etc. This is not happening in the Mental Health Industry {their term} or the schools either!

Its funny because it is difficult for people who study certain things like modern medicine to think a differentt way. They have school loans, they invested all their time, some want to make a lot of money and are blackmailed, some are in some cult and take an oath, and they cant think a different way. I think the doctor should have to take a survey before he treats a patient and the patient can choose ahead of time from 2000 questions. Someone could put the survey online and the doctor has to answer 50 of the questions. Then the patient can decide if he/she wants tthe doctor to treat him/her. If not then there should be more selection. Like the medical community should fly these doctors around to various medical facilities in different states, and have some hours in one state and then fly to another, to see if the patient would be compatible with that doctor. sort of like school choice. And the patient could sue the doctor if he lies on his survey. This way the doctors cant become dictators, They pharmaceutical companies will be less likely to poison people because there could be questions in there about the drugs the doctor prescribes which should hold him and the pharmaceutical companies accountable. The pharmaceutical companies cant dictate to the patient then, either. Diet and excercise and vitamins and healthy organic food are really the only thing that make people well, otherwise the chemicals are just creating a slow death by alleviating symptoms. But you see, people that dont study conventiotional medicine are not in the mob so they dont hold much credibility. The mob uses the news programs to promote their kind of medicine that makes them money. And they call the ones that really have the knowledge, "crazy" and they try to medicate them and throw them in mental institutions. Why are people so stupid?
As Peter Gotzsche says: ' Psychiatrists are big with their "Organized Denial!"' They are very lockstep because of their money, careers and hubris, and unlike Gotzsche, Breggin, Szasz and Michael Landon - do not believe in the potential of people. In 2005, a psychiatrist returned my call - and I told him what the Mental Health system was effectively doing to people. From the other end - I got blazing indignation! / Newt Gingrich said something useful in 1995 - 'If someone graduates from High School and they can't read, then they should be able to Sue the School System.' My simile from this is: When someone is released from a Mental Institution, and they are not at least functional - they should Sue! // If someone is distracted or depressed, then enlist him to take up aesthetic training - so he can develop a dedicated mental + emotional cathexis, which is what Mental Health is. The 1st classes should be with enthusiastic drum music, where everyone starts clapping & stomping. Soon, people are laughing, since happiness and physiology are being triggered together - which the subconscious mind takes literally! {Disease-like labeling, dossing with neurotoxic drugs or ECT and making sad people into long term cash cows - must end!}

The psychiatric industry in the country where I live take subjects without informed consent, study them night and day, without consent, spread information that is unfounded , derogatory everywhere their subject is in order to gain verb confirmation of their illegal study. They then deny that they are doing this, lie to the subject, want to publish their findings so that they can gain accolades for their work. They give invalid information to as many of their peers as they can regarding their subject and the information that they have gathered, without consent. They deny privacy and human rights. This industry is nothing more than a club of buffoons who think that they have the right to harm lives without accountability. They believe that they do not have to prove when they write someone up with information that is clearly wrong. This is because a person who makes unsound decisions, cannot look after themselves and has low IQ is uncapable of understanding anything that is going on therefore has diminished capacity therefore , they believe , that they can to whatever they want and the person , due to their work practices, has no human rights, no right to autonomy, no right to privacy and if they want to impose themselves into their lives covertly no rights to say no to a study encompassing their whole private life including family and friends. This is arbitrary abuse of power. It also shows that the mental health department has total disregard for the suffering of the vunerable and fragile. The concerns here is that the work practices of the current mental health structure is bringing extreme emotional and psychological duress to those they target. Just a small amount of time under the current system ends up in a life time for pain argosy and harm which they seem incapable of understanding. If they were not who they are but a simple citizen they would be charged with the crimes they arbitrarily commit on a daily basis and would have to answer manslaughter charges for every death. In conclusion they play a narcissism God in the lives of those they deem unable to cope, understand or function in life. A head psychiatrist stated the most dangerous thing a person can do is see a psychiatrist. They need to be investigated as thoroughly and covertly as they investigate their victims lives.

They do write people up to match the DSMV even if there are no symptoms their statement on this is that it was their opinion. An opinion is not fact and not 9nly is it 7nethical the drugs side effects will give symptoms of a mental illness which they then diagnose as another mental illness and state that this shows that their opinion was correct as the first illness was being masked and the drugs exposed it. They then say their abuse was justified as they were trying to get reactions they could note as symptoms. It is all abuse of power and authority.
Most psychiatrists are imbued with Freudian ideology and do not believe in people or their potential. They were able to purloin over disease-like labels from M.D. doctors - and parlay these to justify giving patients neurotoxic drugs or ECT - then corral them as long-term cash cows!

In the extensive study i have done even their own industry admits there is no disease that they treat it is all deception in order for them to hold power over someone's life. If you don't believe their lies and deceit they attack you without remorse. Truly evil.
If it was the finance industry they would be in jail for fraud .so what is the difference? Lying when you are in a position of power is not just unethical it is a criminal act.
What people in the finance industry goes to jail? How many were investigated after the crash in 2008? The financial industry is just as corrupt if not more.

I was really impressed until he spouted off about climate change. Note: since he did not specify manmade climate change I will look further before voicing an opinion. I will just say I wish he had either elaborated or remained silent on that topic.
The timeline is remarkable. Questioning psychiatric drugs took courage in the 1990s, and became mainstream by 2018. Maybe he was expelled for being effective? It's starting to affect profits.

I believe the drugs they gave my mum in the care home killed her. She couldn’t even talk properly. They wouldn’t tell me what they were giving her, due to “privacy “ I was in Australia, mum was in Scotland. I’m still so angry with them
