I filmed an eyelash beauty brand last year with clamshell lighting. Due toceiling height I went with a 24” beauty dish overhead and utilized a 1’x3’ Stripbox for the fill to give me a little more control on exposure. My biggest challenge was adjusting for each subjects height to maintain consistency across all the shots.
This seems like the perfect corprate head shot set up, but my only issue is I don't have tall enough ceilings in some of these place to go that high. All of my clients want these website head shots done with their logo as the backdrop. I definitely want to try this out soon.

Nice! I'm actually going to go with a 48" for the upcoming shoot. A bit smaller and manageable but still a nice large source.

Just reduce the size of the softbox. I'm going to use the 48" softbox I have for the actual shoot as that 60" one is BIG!
