this is absolutely wonderful. I was gifted a shockwave for my 24th. I solo hike in montana and i was looking do a great way to secure it to my body for movement but also allow for a quick draw if needed. this is great.
Very nice holster system! I always wanted to have one that I could use to holster the shockwave on my back. Then you could almost conceal carry while wearing a jacket. Preferably one with a high collar.
Cool but if you read the letter that comes with the shockwave it tells you you can't conceal it from my understanding of it makes it a aow not a firearm like the shockwave is
I'll buy one but need to know if you can carry it like that like you can a pistol like can I carry it on my hip in public wherever I'm allowed to carry a none concealed weapon like a none concealed pistol
This gun fits into a weird category. It's actually open carry only. It's illegal to carry this gun concealed on your person. You could carry it in a case or scabbard, but you can't carry it concealed in a trench coat or something like that because it would put it into the "any other weapon" illegal category
I'm absolutely certain that they could do that as it would simply mean punching out a slightly longer strip for the belt itself and after seeing the holster itself there's clearly enough room to do so without compromising it's Strength and durability. Worst case, You could certainly do this yourself if you have a hammer and a nice sharp chisel at home simply mark off the extra amount of leather that you would need to cut out in order for the width of your belt and then using the chisel cutAlong the already Removed inner edges of the current strap belt Slots and when you get to the bottom where the curved portion would be Get yourself a curved scalpel the ones that are shaped like a hook, These can be purchased from art supply shops Then simply slowly and carefully while keeping your fingers out of the direction you are cutting make that curved bottom part of the slot for your belt. This is essentially the exact same method I used to widen the belt slots on a holster for something else and it worked perfectly Just make sure that when you are using the chisel and hammer You are absolutely sure to measure that length you are cutting out of the already pre-existing slit so that your belt is tight in there and there is not extra wiggle room as that will of course cause issues. My only other advice would be to make sure you do this on something extremely sturdy that will not bounce or give any kind of deadening effect when struck with the hammer as in ideally if you could do this on top of a piece of wood or something soft which is sitting on something like an anvil or something very sturdy because you want all of that power from the hammer going directly into the chisel And for it to make a very nice clean-cut through the leather I say this because I'm unsure of how thick or tough the leather you will be working with may be. I realized this comment is 1 year old but good luck and I hope things work out that being said like I mentioned earlier I am quite certain as these are made custom they would be more than happy to accommodate your request for a larger belt loop.
