You might remember that 2016 Tiger team they scored three 4th quarter TD's against Bama. It was a blast watching you on the SEC Network saying that "we can dispense with all of this best defense of all time talk" as Clemson roared back for the win. In 2017 Clemson was defeated in another hard fought ACC game by Syracuse and came back to make the College Football Playoffs. Admittedly it was a tough night against Bama with no quarterback (Kelly Bryant) Before slamming the 2023 FSU Schedule.......look ahead to the LSU schedule....Army, Georgia State, Grambling with a trip to Alabama defining the season in the same way FSU's trip to Clemson could define the Noles season. No other SEC team rises to the Bama or Georgia level and if LSU doesn't handle their business vs Bama they will never see Georgia. Long story short.....A loss to the Noles slams the door on the CFP for LSU this year and an ACC can carry a lose into the CFP as demonstrated in 2016 and 2017.

These 2 teams are evenly matched but LSU has no proven cornerbacks and Florida St has some NFL receivers. LSU is better in the trenches than Florida St and its not close...
