Enjoyed that very much, thanks as always for sharing. Elsie & Jim scenes were good, Dennis too. I knew everybody would think Emily took the photos of Jerry. Good he owned up. He's such a prankster
Sandra Gough who played Irma was sacked from Corrie in 1971. Apparently she had asked to be written out to care for her ailing mother but the producers wouldn't let her have time off so she just upped and left and never went back so she got sacked.
Hilda to Stan..."You may be rubbish, but you're all I've got"..😂

Sad to see Ken going wayward. Poor Val🎉
Ken and the stick insect lady were made for each other.
After 1974, Irma disappeared into thin air. She didn't visit her mother, or attend her father's funeral. Where did she go?

This explains why Sandra Gough quit
She returned in Buggernation Street.
Wow, if the story is accurate about Irma asking for a leave of absence, the writers were heartless.
Thanks for uploading. I thought I had seen this episode before, but I hadn't. Great stuff (although I don't rate Jim Mount).
14:39 I really thought Jerry was going to give it to Dennis good and strong.
25:20 Did Hilda say "whale meat?"
