I'm up in Canada and the deals like these are a little harder to come by. But recently I went out to a guys game room and we struck a deal on a large chunk of his collection. Everything from cib 3do with 20 games, some old turbografx 16 hardware and just a ton of games for every system! It was a blast. We hung out in his game room and drank coffee and talked. I asked about some of the games he had behind the glass and if he'd sell them. He was on the fence and was saying that he could probably do it but then he said that those ones were from his childhood. At that point I just couldn't do it. I couldn't take those ones. I knew he WOULD sell them but my conscious wouldn't let me buy them. I've discovered, over the years, that sometimes I have to walk away from purchases even if I know I could get them. If they call back one day, then I know they're ready but I need to leave them that space to come to that place in their head. Otherwise I feel like i'm destroying their childhood. lol. I know that's silly and I've absolutely left money on the table but I have to sleep at night knowing I've done right by people and their collections.
game room advice: Get some cubbies to host all your consoles under your TVs, so you can have them at the ready to plug & play. there are collectible consoles and there are playing consoles, as you already know. maybe have a coffee table with compartments underneath, full of handhelds; again, the playable kind. I’ve got tons more, but 2 will do.
I would start by getting a short throw projector and hire a crane to remove the boat anchor of a tv in games room . But your doing a great job on your content and videos . Look forward to your new videos every week . Well done 💪
I've been collecting games since 1982. (41 years). Most everything has been bought from new, by me, and kept in new condition. About 60% of it is still factory sealed. Odyssey to PS5. I managed three Babbage's stores in the 90s and have a large amount of promo items, hundreds of promo shirts, posters, watches, standees, posters, and more. I may be interested in selling someday and I'd love to have it go to someone or a place that can appreciate the condition I've kept them in. I'd say with a good degree of confidence that most of it is "museum quality". Even my Neo•Geo AES Gold System is uncirculated (sent directly from SNK USA), along with 50 USA AES carts. All CIB or brand new. As I get closer to a decision I'll try to get in touch. -MattH
@@videogameobsession I'll keep an eye out myself. Not interested in the stuff 99 percent of folks are going to probably flood your emails with (NES, SNES, Sega, etc). I passionately collect Atari stuff. I am always interested in potential bulk buys specific to Atari. Saw the outstanding collection photos on your website.
Does anyone know the racing/flight cockpit? I haven't seen too many that you can have both the flight controls and a shifter in a good spot. I like this one in the video. Playstation 5 only, no need for PC.
*Ways to improve game room:* increase size of said game room lmao But seriously Chase you have so many amazing things and not enough room to properly display them with practicality in mind..
Hey, i’m new to collecting just got some old sega and snes games and systems of my grand parents house. I found the sega 32x game spider-man web of fire which is worth a bit. What clear cases can I buy to put it in? Like what do you use so I can protect it. Thanks!
Just tried sending this to Chase on IG but don’t know if he’s monitoring that lol: Big fan of the videos. I figured it was worth a shot to ask if you’d be interested in buying my things. I have a large Nintendo, Xbox, PS1 collection, many CIB games for SNES, Gameboy, and CIB consoles (NES, three Gameboys, original Xbox, 360, PS1). I’ll attach some pics below. I’m also in Michigan near Flint (although I think you are on the west side of the state?). I’m intimidated to mail it all since it would be a ton of boxes and heavy. I’d be willing to meet at a halfway point. Just let me know if this is something you’d be interested in!
Love your pursuit collection! Just dont do what that other youtuber did and just sell it off when youre done. Cherish it for a few and then sneak it out the door but dont break our hearts!
You guys should look in to something called emulation. I have all these games plus an extra 500 pinball tables on my phone! I save much space and so much money using this trick. Nintendo hates me! because there is always someone who needs it: /s
@@Cyril29a oh I saw it, but figured I’d still say something since anyone who would use /s is pitiful. Just use words, not everything needs to be abbreviated
I'm gonna teach you young or something. Doesn't matter how much money you have in your bank account. When somebody doesn't want to sell something. The word is no, and that's the final answer. No, remember, the money does not buy everything.
WOW! What an outstanding collection! Thank you and SkyGuy for taking us along and seeing that incredible collection.

Yes from Canada as well, very tough to find reasonable deals

The guys creativity at setting up his Game Room is hands down the coolest part. We've all seen the items a million times but setup is key.
Definitely add rgb lights maybe behind your display shelves or on the ceiling corners and bottom corners or something, every game room needs that.
I got a few zelda ds,3ds games and the zelda 3ds console from him too a year or so back. Glad to see his basement improving more and more
The game room is epic, the displays look great! Very innovative.

May we exchange contact ? I’d love to buy some. I have $$$
Sorry, I haven't yet decided on selling anything just yet. Once I have it figured out I'll make another post about it. Thanks.

You def could 3d print some amazing things for a game room nowadays. 😮
You should add more vibrant, fluorescent colors in your game room

Edit: I love the lights in the rooms, great setup

Where can I find that glass case that he used to display all of the pokemon games and stuff?
*Ways to improve game room:* increase size of said game room lmao

It is weird, but it’s just a bonus disc
What kind of RGB lights are those on the ps4 kiosk?

Appreciate the Vita collection!

That’s a little over 50% of the value of the collection that’s not low lol
is it a childhood collection of your dreams that you resell every item from it within 72hours after completing it for a finale youtube video?
Bro what does this say? 😂
I would never sell anything to a scumbag reseller
Yep
Price Williams Pinballs. Thats where the big boys play.
You need more lights in your gameroom.
