omg! gameboy is my nostalgia system. Love to see 30+ year old games still sealed! Fun watch did not want the video to end! Thanks
there are many PAL game boy games that are "weird", these are not fakes. varying qualities and textures on the box / print, weight etc.
That pinocchio is definitely not a real seal though.
That was so much fun to watch. Definitely my favorite game in your collection was Yellow Pikachu. I have great memories getting this game on Christmas .
My wife bought me a Gameboy Advance this Christmas with Pokémon Silver- Such great memories!
This collection is insane!! Can’t believe someone had the self control to keep them sealed for so long!
Prob bought doubles I do it sometimes
Don’t think to much about the guy a complete scam artist if try buy something form online the item a scam been thro it
lol, I was thinking the same thing 😂.. I couldn’t keep them sealed lol
@@shanesmallblock1866lol what
@@felix-ve8jkthe guy stuff his scam I try buy something form online never got it or nothing still show it’s available his scam artist
Christmas of 1990, I got the Gameboy (which I still have) and Super Mario Land. Opening that up and playing Mario Land will always make me happy. So many memories of sharing, and taking turns with classmates during recess. Another kid had a Gameboy too and we used the link cable to play Tetris against each other.
That Christmas, I also got NES stuff - The power glove, little nemo: the dream master, and bases loaded 2.
Little Nemo Dream Master was one of my favorite NES games.. I got it when I was 5 or 6 I’m guessing so Christmas 90 or 91. It was so special getting NES/SNES games as a little kid… just wish we would’ve known to keep all the manuals/boxes etc
dont know how but you popped up on my recommendations and I'm really enjoying your content. Good Job dude
Price charting is great not perfect. Great episode
I do not have a sealed copy of Pokemon Yellow, but I do have a CIB 1st print 👍. That is a great haul of Game Boy titles there.
You naughty man!
Gotta say loved seeing a sealed pokemon yellow considering it was my first pokemon game
This guy buys all the cool stuff
resellers upping the price since 1996
Love this kind of format guys, this is highly enjoyable 😊
Gameboy memories are mostly physical: eye strain and neck hurts...
Got my connections back in the days and got me a 68 in one cart....a huge MF'er that stuck waybout of the Gameboy and had its own reset button...my fave game on it must have been the Alligator pinball game....
Absolute fave original Gameboy game in general: GARGOYLE'S QUEST...!!!🎉❤
Great video. I grew up with the GBA so I feel more nostalgic for any GBA content. However, CIB GameBoy and games are always interesting
OG game boy was the first I played on but it was my older brother’s he let me play it whenever I wanted ❤ I mainly got into games because of him! Super Mario land 2 was the game we both played on it constantly. My mum then got him a sega mega drive so he started playing sonic which became his fave so I took over the gameboy. My mum then got me a gameboy advance when I got older and my first game for that was pokemon sapphire. She picked sapphire for me because sapphire is my birthstone 😅
Getting the GBA when it first released at walmart with my mom is my favorite gameboy memory. Happy new year boys.
Dont sell it out of Norway Kristoffer! Ask all us commoners over here first! :D
Mole Mania is still one the best puzzle games ever made (tbh it feels like it was a sleeper in it's time) Makes puzzle games you get on mobile a joke. Never knew there was a PAL exclusive Lolo GB game, too bad we didnt get it here
Crazy , I totally forgot some of these games until you showed them . Blast from the past
Nice collection.ive the same mortal kombat sealed.great to know the value nw.😮got it for 65 dollars back in 2019.
Those were some minty gems for sure. As you sell them hope you make some profit of the cost you paid for the collection
My favorite game for Gameboy is Donkey Kong '94. Great puzzle game.
Price charting isn't accurate at all. Anyway, this video is awesome. I love collecting for the gameboy/gameboy color and gameboy advance.
Really enjoy this type of video sprinkled in!! Favorite gameboy game you got was undoubtedly Pokémon Yellow!!
My favorite Pokémon gameboy memories are (I hope two is okay lol)
1. Waking up Christmas morning, to find both Gold and Silver in my stocking! I was so excited it’s not even funny haha!
2. While playing Ruby on the playground at school meeting a really good friend that was playing Sapphire.
Thanks for the awesome content Chase!! God bless you and the family!!!
Where do you get all you information from? You all know so much about the systems and games that is mind blowing. Stay safe.
Original donkey kong and tetris attack were the bomb
My first big present I got as a kid was the Pokémon yellow gameboy so that hits hard.
Chase After the Right Price is Right.
Funny memory with gameboy. I was renting a game at a rental store, I was trying to rent some weird basketball game and i dont' know why. They accidentally gave me mario land 2 and I loved it. Much better than the basketball game would have been lol
Love this type of video, gamifying game collecting and definitely some nice new inventory there
My favorite gameboy memories would be the day I was given my first gameboy (a blue advance sp for Christmas) by my parents. I still have it and love it so much. The other memory is playing a Pokémon game on that same SP for the first time in college, LeafGreen then going out and buying Blue at a pawn shop and playing it for the first time and learning how Pokémon worked. Loved Pokémon ever since
Hi Chase and Team, Happy New Year guys. As a Charizard collector and fellow garage saler, I'd like to challenge you to source the entire Charizard card collection in English... strictly from profits or I'd enjoy seeing an episode where the entire profits are gifted to a local family in need this year!
What about hobbyshop Ron, do you buy anything from him soon?
Pokemon yellow is my first game I ever played on my pink gameboy color, lol it had to be pink cause they were all sold out in every color, then I got silver and crystal thinking they were totally dif games lmao. Gen 2 just had released but Crystal is and was my all time favorite.
Thanks to this video, and the nostalgia it triggered, I finally found a Gameboy game I've tried to find the name of for over 30 years. Qix! Neighbor had it in the early 90's and I remember loving it.
Picked up a sealed copy of tiny toons for $18 from marketplace a few weeks ago. One of my top scores.
Crazy seeing Final Fantasy Adventure. That was probably the first video game I ever played. Definitely the first I remember. My grandfather had the DMG with that long ass gray case, Final Fantasy, Super Mario Land and Baseball. I HATED FFA 😂 I had no concept of what an RPG was. FFA is why I almost never played Pokemon because to me, Pokemon looked VERY similar off rip. Glad I ended up continuing with Pokemon for sure.
This was def fun to watch
Totally time machine vintage collection Brother's. My favorite game was Mario Brother's. Happy new year to You and Your Families from Toronto Ontario Canada 😎 👍 ♥️ ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️📺🕹🔊🎶🎶🎶✨️✨️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️✨️✨️💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
I remember planning tetris trying to beat the levels would buy a gameboy only to relive those days 😊
Need to send some of those games into heritage auction like you did that one time❤😅
This is A very cool video you guys always get the coolest video game collections 🙂
price charting is pretty useless for the rarer or more expensive sealed titles. For example, the last comp on that castlevania is actually 2.5k... Often cib comps are included in the new category, or there is just no sales data and they just times the cib price by a certain multiplier which is pretty arbitrary.
and sometimes you have a price at last sold games, but u cant find it anymore, so u have to knock on some collectors doors..
Beautiful Collection
GREAT VIDEO 🎉
Awesome collection thanks for sharing 🤩.
No Sword Of Hope 2? That's a banger... You got Myriad Games 6 n 1 for NES? Got that but can't let it go for less than a $1000.00
That sealed Pokémon yellow your buddy bought was almost mine! He just beat me to it!
love this type of vids!
Definitely the Pokémon yellow it was one of the first games I ever played.
yes i liked and subscribed. i want to do this. good job yall
Two videos in the same day? What am I? Immortal?
Bringing up the Arkinoid, i have the OG arcade machine version sitting in the gaming room ... great game
Your channel is pure nostalgia ....Thanks man ✌
I’ve been watching your videos the past few days and I thought I was subbed this whole time my b 😅 love the content! Excited to see what’s crazy deals you get next!
I have buy some old games and when I get them they are sealed.
It is so fun to get a game that no one has played before and open up it for the first time.
But I should never pay over $100 for a game.
Latest game was Dragon Quest IX for DS or Dragon Quest VI for DS. Both was brand new for one or two years ago. Payed around $60 for them.
imo you gave him too many hints... you could have given him those factoids AFTER he guessed
Dunno why I laughed too hard at "plays like tennis" rofl
I think I might be the only person that doesn't like Pokemon in the whole world
I still have my Gameboy color from my childhood and it still works I just neglect it now but it holds a lot of sentimental value to me had it when I was 6 I am 24 now
Awesome to see such a great collection
I sold my used copy of castlevania 2 in 2017 for $450, I think $1000 for new was correct
Damn I always thought Wave Race on N64 was the first one
Chase how was your Christmas
I got this game called Billy Bob's hunting and fishing and it was surprisingly awesome
Amazing, difficult with such rare games, really enjoy the unwrapping. I’m conflicted tho because although big respect to the OG Gameboy, I just don’t enjoy the monochrome compared to any NES / SNES and beyond with SP etc. Having said that, my favourite would be abe’s adventure, loved those games for PS back in the day ❤
Omg that was so fun to watch! Please make more like this :)
Crazy collection so cool to see🔥
That collection is insane. I'd say grade them all. Best game memories from that collection was super mario 2. My all time favorite game was called Kingdom Crusader. (Only game I could actually beat at a young age lol) then of course pokemon red, blue, and yellow.
Yay another video! :D
Kirby's Dream Land was my favorite gameboy game none pokemon
I wish I could go back in time and not open my games or at least keep them
The Pinocchio is a German copy variant that's why the box colors look strange. The seal does look strange but could be common depending on the factory.
Good eye!
Games from Norway Europe are PAL versions, so is it still worth to collect that for you?
@@chrismeulen8108 i just thought logically pal version, since i am in Europe as well.
I started out playing Pokemon and Zelda
What service is the better to get CIB games graded? WATA or CGC?
Pokemon yellow for sure!
Sealed is amazing
I loved spot i would play it on the sega genesis
This is a normal looking chumlee
You spend $20,000 on games and then you say I don’t know what I have here 🤔 🤔🤔🤔🤔
The Crew did the majority of the processing on this purchase. I was seeing most of that for the first time!
I have many of those but I just don't understand sealed box collecting at those prices.....prices have got to peak or even fall so I just can't see the flip or investment.....dragons lair is an appalling game as are some others there I would not pay £1 for.....games are for playing and experiencing so this actually winds me up
"These are og gameboy only, no color, no advance"
Bro what?
Dam sealed copies and they still ship it on a cardboard box. lol
How do i get in touch with you guys?
*Pokemon collection video waiting room*
Why the hell is that Pokémon Yellow completely unprotected like that?!
& makes it worse ur holding it for a buddy & just keeping/moving/handling it around with zero protection? One tiny rip can ruin everything for u buddy
Horrible example if that’s how u “store/keep” customers products who asked to be graded.
Legit baffled usually you are respectful/better about items
favorite game final fantasy
Norge 🇳🇴🇳🇴💪💪
Tetris was the best lol
got a Gameboy with Tetris bundled in with it and also got a copy of a links awakening with my communion money back in the day. proof that cannibalism can be profitable! #bodyofchrist
LOL i have every game on everydrives and softmods and didnt pay a cent, you shelf collectors are so funny to watch and laugh at 🤣
I kinda want to know how much those 9 boxes cost to ship wowowow
Hype video
I really hope that you guys and the seller figured something out outside of pricecharting value. I do agree that stuff like this sits and is not easy to sell but those price charting values quoted here are basically all like miles of the mark, usually being low. I wouldn't be surprised if the total % paid ends up being like 20-30% especially factoring in the two castelvanis valued at 700 each,.
Yeah but remember these guys job is to buy things for less than their worth. Most probably someone with a collection like this lost interest long ago , and probably they are senior citizens by now and older you get the easier it is to get scammed and talked into things. I wonder how they even found this person in Finland :D
@@bt7522 there isn't an issue with buying items for less than they are worth. This person likely approached them and was happy with the deal they got. However I think that this pricecharting use is not a great look for anyone that has stuff like this coming to them in the future. It also makes them look pretty dumb tbh even if they have shown many times that they know how to evaluate stuff and that this is definitely not how you do it for sealed.
Neither comment is 100% fair, the point is that this is CATRP’s business and they will list, grade, post, deal with returns etc and of course if you sell in bulk the seller is getting paid and then it’s for CATRP to sell (and potentially wait some time to sell) so they need to make profit for all that cost! So yeh those price charting prices are low but they’d only ever buy at 50-60% retail and that’s fair!
@@MrRonJa yeah of course but they aren't just low they are far below fmv
Don’t you live in Michigan ?
why does he sound like Carl from Family guy…
I have like 400+ switch games that I want too sell
Message us at Catrpcrew@gmail.com
What does players choice mean ?
It means there’s a “players choice” stamp printed on the box. Which means it’s not the original version of the games box art
@@feensta no it means at the time it was sold over 1 Million Copys
This collection is just weird. Mixing PAL and NTSC games is a no-go for me.
I sometime get a game in NTSC becuase the game was not sold in PAL version.
collector is from PAL country but if there is no PAL version of a game available for long time then he will buy the NTSC version too because he know the value if ever resell lol
