Since the car has to be turned off - For my 2015 jeep Patriot I had to drive around the block first because once the car turns off the auto up/down switch works for just a minute. Stuck down. Easy fix! Worked for hours replacing the power window motor / regulator for front passenger door. After completion, noticed the window not functioning properly. Was tired and wet (from rain). It worked!! At first it was the passenger window on the Toyota truck that wouldn't roll down but the drivers would. So I did the five down then five up and then the driver side wouldn't roll down and the passengers would! Lol. So then I did it again and now they both work. Thanks for sharing your video with us.

Im glad it worked! It wasn't major but it sure was irritating that every other window worked automatically but my driver side wouldn't. I think I unset it when I kept trying to make the windows stay open only about 1/2 inch overnight to air out my vehicle after a clean.😅 I knew I shouldn't have kept messing with my buttons lol thank yoh

DONT GIVE UP!! It takes a few tries before the reset kicks in. I actually heard a slight electrical “ thud” sound when it reset. Now…………. ALL MY WINDOWS WORK AGAIN……..!!!! Thanks again dude!! My window just randomly started where it has to either go up or down and sit for about 15 seconds to go the other way. Like I cant roll it up and stop it and roll it down. If i touch the button while its in progress it will stop and do nothing for 15-20 seconds before it becomes responsive again. Its a time delay issue cause it reads on the first click of the switch after being patient
This worked! Thought it was going to cost me a lot and was already worried about pushing all the way down in case I needed to leave it at night but it worked fine!

I have a 2019 Honda Odyssey. On “auto up” the passenger sliding door window goes all the way up then goes back down just a couple inches. I can manually close it those last couple inches with quick, short pulls of the switch but if I do it too much it goes back down those couple inches. The other 3 windows work properly. Anybody else with this issue or a solution?
