"Did you actually write it yourself?"
"You do seem to be the real deal"
"I'm impressed you can be a professional chef while not eating a thing for 30 days"
"Is this recipe one that you took from someone else?"
"You say you did very well in your 'O' levels and you went on to 'A' levels yet you didn't go to university? Tell me a bit about that because some people might find that weird"
"Do you think you could have won Masterchef or do you think you won Bake Off because it played to your strengths?"
Did someone really tell her to ask these questions? They're bordering on nasty, like the interviewer. She kept trying to take Nadiya down several notches, with every other question, but Nadiya kept knocking her questions out of the park. Good on you Nadiya.

"You do seem to be the real deal" so her whole agenda was to tear her apart as she never felt/believed she was authentic? kind of felt her hostility throughout the interview,Nadiya was having to defend every question, which she did with ease. Please lets not have this interviewer again.

Nadiya is honestly one of the sweetest and most humble people I've ever seen on tv. Faith, colour, gender, circumstance or whatever, she's wonderful. If an arranged marriage worked for her that's great. I know many non arranged marriages that have failed so what does it matter? It's her choice. She's a strong woman who knows how strong she is so the only important thing is her character and that's incredible ❤️

I have watched a few of these now. Why did she ask Nadiya whether she wrote the book or not? Nadiya is a talented, wonderful woman, maybe The Pool need to review who they choose to interview and also up the quota of interesting, talented, intelligent, established AND up and coming people of colour.

dear nadiya.. I love your recipes and I love your integrity. I am a Bangladeshi myself. We here in Bangladesh have a number of sweet delicious desserts which exists in Bangladeshi cuisine itself. Sweets after dinner is a MUST among almost all Bangladeshi families. and we definitely dnt fill up ourselves with fruit before dinner! PUDDING is a favourite and a must have at least twice a month. We do have baking ovens at most homes now but back then we had stove ovens and we still use the stove ovens for a type of dessert called "pitha" and mind you, we have a 25-30 kinds of various "pitha" and all "baked" using stove-pot-ovens. To name a few of the sweet or "mishti" as we call them in Bangla, we have mishti doi (sweet yogurt; a big favourite again), roshogolla(spongy-soft round mishtis, soaked in sugar syrup), malai chom chom, payesh, raj bhog, kalo jaam, chaanr jelapi, laddo, darbesh, rasmalai, shondesh, and the list goes on. Please visit Bangladesh and visit some of the most famous sweet shops. Oh I am sure you have heard or seen how big fat weddings are in Bangladesh? We never let our guests go without feeding them "mishti". I personally LOVE eating mishti after dinner or even lunch or just any meal haha. Our cultural cuisine is rich and we Bangladeshis love eating. I cordially invite you to come and visit Bangladesh I would love to show you around and wnt let you go without feeding you the delicious cuisine which represents our Bangladesh. With love...

If I had to comment on some cuisine right now I would make sure I know at least the general basics n then talk. suppose just because us bengalis call the "flan" as the "pudding", doesnt mean we already dnt knw the difference or from where it was originated. its the basics. any speaker should be careful of what they speak you cant take the risk and say sth wrong on an international level. she is extremely talented and wish her all the best.

She keeps sticking her dirty fingers into her mouth, licking them, then touching the food, and shoving her filthy fingers back into her mouth, all the while continuing to interview Nadiya. That is nasty! Nadiya needs to tell this disgrace of a woman to go scrub her hands with hot water and soap before she's allowed to put her saliva smeared grubby hands on all the cherries and pop them on the tarts. I love Nadiya, but she has absolutely got it wrong to say Bangladeshis do not do dessert, what nonsense!!! Bangladeshi sweets, hello, extra sugary with lots of syrup. It's not fair to express these misconceptions and naive concepts because of her upbringing. I'm Bangladeshi, my parents are immigrants, i went to uni, we had an an oven that was used; our upbringing is completely different. She acts as if she's the first successful bengali and she's broken traditions. argh i'm beginning to see her in a different light!

To be fair , a great deal of Chefs don’t write there own book ,they provide there recipes and they ave a team that will
arrange the foreword, photographs ,the research etc the end result is the final book but the main credit will go to
the chef . Towards the end of the interview Nadiya refers to “ The Team “ Thats behind her books .
The thing is Nadiya does contradict herself , self diagnosing herself with the label of having anxiety disorder,
everyone has times of anxiety, butterflies in the stomach feelings , who hasn’t felt nervous , like taking your driving test
It doesn’t mean you have a mental illness . I think there a things she should have waited till her children had at least finished
School . It seems like she is a bit desperate to keep the money rolling in and that’s why despite being a Muslim she now cooks
Bacon and chorizo ! I am beginning to question her and the more that comes out, I sadly do not trust her anymore and I
suspect her has interviewer has has picked up on . 🤥😧
