She is everything I want in a baking show. A good baker with unlimited ways of radical thinking, paired with a great sense of humor without the cringe fest.
I will always remember Nadiya’s heartfelt comments after she was announced as Bake-off winner. To this day tears well in my eyes when l watch that moment. Her husband’s thoughtful comments about his wife were also heartfelt and touching. Beautiful and inspiring moments about a beautiful and inspiring woman.🌟
My favorite part of her win was watching her oldest son crying he's so happy and proud of his mother. You don't often see kids crying for joy, and it was just so beautiful. I also love watching her daughter triumphantly pumping the air... and the middle one joining in his parents hug... oh it was just all wonderful.
That’s just what I think each time I watch it - it’s rare for children cry when they’re overjoyed but his and the rest of her family’s reaction and emotion get me every time.
It's so wonderful to see this warm, funny, charming, eloquent person just living her best life, doing what she loves every single day :) Nadiya's grown so much in confidence, she looks so at home in front of the camera without ever losing that sweetness and humility we fell in love with all those years ago
She’s the definition of lovely. It’s like sunshine falls out of her mouth. Her bake-off season is my absolute favorite and her Netflix special I’ve watched over and over.
Her knowledge, her ability to live in her emotions, her showing off that failing is a part of life…to me…her raw human emotion…her passions…make her so endearing…and so deserving of love. And she is a champion in that. I hope she knows how loved she is by strangers from all walks of life around the world.
I had never heard of GBBO until Nadiya as the winner was a guest on The Graham Norton Show. Her appearance there made me hunt for GBBO and watch her season. Even though I obviously knew she would win, I sobbed when she was announced. Then I made my dad watch the show (without telling him the outcome) and HE cried when she was announced as the winner. And I cried again! Every time I re-watch that moment I cry. I love her speech so much, but my actual favorite moment is when she wordlessly points at the trophy in her hand and then points at herself. It’s one of those moments I re-watch when I need joy. ❤
I’m so in love with her personality. I watch her on Netflix, had no idea about Britain bake-off, I’m Canadian but I love me some her. She’s just a big ball of positivity and happiness.
I remember watching the final, listening to her speech and I was instantly brought to tears and I still am. Just seeing a fellow south Asian Muslim women was incredibly inspiring 🥺❤️
Undoubtedly she's an inspiration for Asian Muslim women and especially wee girls but she's an inspiration for all of us as well. Her openness about mental health struggles, how as an ordinary woman she's managed fame, her warm and open personality, her friendly demeanor, even her husband and family are lovely. I think she's a national treasure.
What a fantastic woman - I have become a Nadiya fan through her programmes that are on Netflix. I think she is a great baker,, long may she reign. Her anecdote about the Queen was priceless, so funny.
I love Nadia she's great. I loved the BBC series she made travelling around Bangladesh and cooking the local recipes she found and shared. She's an amazing wee woman.
She’s always going to be the quirky shy utterly beautiful lady with a funny bone who nervously won the bake off show. I love Nadia and I am pretty sure the whole country loves her too. I love her recipes because they are full of love and so delicious. She is a nervous ball but she amazes me by her resilience and her ability to hold her ground with all the feelings she has. Such a wonderful woman ..

Me too! She is a gem!
It's so awesome when "normal" people become celebrities later in life and so they're already so grounded and genuine.
My favorite part of her win was watching her oldest son crying he's so happy and proud of his mother. You don't often see kids crying for joy, and it was just so beautiful. I also love watching her daughter triumphantly pumping the air... and the middle one joining in his parents hug... oh it was just all wonderful.

She's talented, charismatic, eloquent, charming, and a lot more. She deserves all her success.
All that and More...
