The term bumper crop refers to a harvest that is particularly large, larger than you expect from what you planted. Kinda weird to refer to it like that when you wouldn't even have the squirtbottle at that point in the game and your berry harvest would be really bad without that lol
Super late, but I don't think anyone else noticed, but in this game seedot that the guide suggested as an option does not naturally learn any grass type moves except synthesis which can be missed since its a pre evolution move at lv 21 and seedot evolves at 14. You named your Castform Mike? You are a god.
I used those guides as a kid all the time haha. I’ve got one for Emerald, Diamond/Pearl, Platinum, and Heart Gold/Soul Silver
Still "hammering away" in honor of Eric. Nice.
I had the Nintendo Power guide for Emerald as a kid, and it was genuinely great
24:27 "we need to have an open party on our slot." Lolz
Nothing like having to check out a book on braille at the public library to discover the secret of the Regi trio. Nothing has been as satisfying for me in a game since then ❤
You named one of your Pokemon Mirror B. That alone is enough to make me love you forever. lol
I'm loving these videos! Working my way through them all.
……Wait did you name your Castform after Mikey as in MandJTV?? 😆
I didn't know you could cut the tall grass using hm until i watch this video 😱 thanks dude 👍
Love these videos! Just one small point of feedback/critique: The pictures of the guides + what you're showing on screen sometimes doesn't properly correlate with the things your saying. I do look forward to seeing more of these though :D
yeah I'm aware, it was a mistake and wasn't intentional of course. It's just too late to correct it now
Is it just me or did anyone else not know you could cut the tall grass using the cut HM
They should put a sign where you caught Seviper "Danger, Tsuchinoko" ;)
I never had the guide for Emerald, but did have Ruby/Sapphire one from Nintendo Power and but mostly just used it for the pokedex in it to see when pokemon Evolved and didn't notice any typo/errors in it. plus on the last page it had the Key for the secret dot messages and only like the last couple of pages mentioned anything from the end game after you beat the elite four.
My first ever Pokemon game. I've played this game over 1000 times since getting it in 2005 and I love it to death. I still have my original cartridge but just recently it stopped working. I've recently playing a playthrough as of writing using only Pokemon I haven't used before. It's fun.
yes, the grass type torchic. my favorite as well
I love the undertale music in the backround, it just gives that aesthetic feel and it feels like this would play in the game
You would need to pick up bullet seed from an npc near the flower shop.
I remember obsessing over this Prima Guide for Emerald as a kid, and still have my copy to this day. The typos are hilarious looking back into it, as is the flavor text for all the little sections
Torchic best grass type
I remember playing ruby for the first time with this guide. What a nostalgia trip.
Well today i found out silcoon and cascoon isn't time of day related. I had no idea this was one of the guide mistakes 😰
