What's up Legacy Family, Ken here! 💙 Thanks so much for watching my first video on the channel. I hope you enjoyed and feel free to ask any questions you may have here :) p.s. I realized I should have the camera on manual focus so consider it done for next time
First of all congratulations you being a new member of the John Deere family. You knocked it out of the park. You didn’t even hit a home run. You just knocked it way out of the park. Congratulations love the way you did everything love the camera angles loved everything very simple very direct very to the point John Deere has tried to explain the design Dudler for such a long time. Many of his family and coworkers have done the same thing I’ve seen your videos, but have not really gotten the concept like I did with you so kudos on that. Keep up the great work as a blind person I could say that I’m very happy with what you did straightforward simple into the point.
Really cool to see you on this channel Ken! Pretty surprised to see you in the thumbnail. I really wish the pc software worked on Mac. When you have both ipad and mac it's so seamless when moving things between them and it would've made this companion app perfect. It'll also be the first mac digitizing software out there!
Thank you! Something else I can use procreate for! I’m a crafter and originally got it for something else but just getting into embroidery. This is awesome
I’ve had my IPad and procreate but just haven’t ever gotten into it. This is a good idea. I will have to keep my IPad on me with the pen to draw up designs now even though I can’t draw. Practice makes perfect though.
my first embroidery machine is coming tomorrow and I currently do all my designs in procreate. This video alone may have me purchasing this software day one! Thank you for showing the full workflow to the embroidery part. Quick question, how difficult is it to trace text in the program? It looks a lot like any vector file editor, but i saw in the walkthrough that there isn’t any text placement.
Congratulations on your first embroidery machine-what an exciting step! 😊 I’m so glad the video was helpful and got you considering the software. While it’s possible to trace text manually, that isn’t the main goal of the Doodler. Instead, the program offers built-in fonts that you can easily access and adjust for style, size, and more, making embroidery faster and more efficient! Let us know if you have any other questions or need tips as you get started. We’re here to help! 💜 Wishing you lots of success with your new machine! 🌟
Some one should come up with a grid template for millimeter grid so you know what scale / width your lines are. This would allow us designers to more easily tell how detailed we can actually go before transferring..
Hey! Do you think it's worth to get the iPad pro 12.9 inch instead of a laptop for my embroidery business? I am starting new and not sure whether to invest in an iPad or laptop (I already have a MacBook air)
This was great, but next time if you set manual focus on the iPad it will stop focusing on your hands and making the iPad blurry every time your hands are there which made it hard to read :)
Haha, thanks for the suggestion! 😊 You’re absolutely right-switching to manual focus is definitely the way to go. We’ll make sure to improve that next time! 💜 Appreciate your feedback! 🌟

Well done Ken, love your personality and "let's do this attitude". 👏

Thank you. This was one of the best tutorials I’ve ever watched. So clear and informative and thorough. Very helpful and personable.
You are so welcome! 🤗
These are great! I'd love some videos like these without teaching dialogue and just straight workflow, I learn way better that way!
Thank you! I'll work on some videos where I just digitize with some background music 💙 -Ken

awesome video!
please consider for future videos to lock the focus to the iPad so the camera doesn't try to autofocus on your hands
Just getting started designing and this has inspired me. Cant wait to get started...Thanks Ken!
Awesome! Thanks for the tutorial!
Good video thanks looks good

LETS GOOOOOOOOO :D
Hi Ken . Where are your old video I like what you did but i am not finished to learn what you did specialy the hermit frog. thx
Can you also use this app with a 5x7 design

You absolutely need a laptop/pc for embroidery so I'd buy that instead.
Even if I need the tracing feature of procreate? And I think I can mirror my hatch to the iPad and work on that space instead
Does this program run on a Macbook? I saw that you moved to a PC after.
can i use it in normal pfaff embroidery machine?
What is the cheapest tablet or ipad that I can purchase to learn?
