The way The Chaplain said it not with a high or screaming voice, but with low commanding tone. Oh my god, this is so good really gives me shivers.
There isn't enough written about chaplains.
We have Grimaldus, but he is Sheparding a crusading flock of borderline psychopaths.
A chaplain of the blood has that dual duty of protecting their spirits, while quite literally watching after their souls.
I imagine blood angels chaplains to be the most no nonsense yet empathetic examples of humanity in most all marines.

I love how they chose to make it with the blood angels chapter theres so much conflict within them because of the black rage and the red thirst and the desire to be noble instead of falling to their curse they embrace it as both strength and weakness yet it makes them so much more human to see them struggle with the darkness inside them and channel it
I love the animations and commentary. 40K has been around for a long time, but it is more recent that the universe feels alive
I loved the art work for this series the lack of colour with the red of blood angels

I’m relatively new to WH40, my friend painted models in highschool, but I was more into D&D and Cyberpunk. But it was always in my periphery. I got really into it with Luetin and Deadlifts for the Dark Gods. I just discovered Vox in the Void and now your breakdown videos. These break downs really add a lot to the story. Nice stuff brother.

Angels of Death is incredible.
I bought Warhammer+ for the animations. They definitely need way more to make the service worth the money but I do think Angels of Death and Interrogater are genuinely amazing pieces of art.
Hammer & Bolter got much better in the later episodes specifically the GSC one and the Adeptus Mechanicus ones.

I hope if anyone from GW reads these comments they tell management we need more shows like Angels of Death. I'd love to see White Scars & Grey Knights (my two favorites chapters).

Main chapter I play on the table top. A few small issues with sound etc, but a great step in the right direction for the story telling side of 40k 💪

The detail and dedication u have for every frame and lore. I love how much lore is available even for things that one would consider "irrelevant" like why there is soo much art on the ship(marines make art to control rage). I would have never known that if you didn't break it down. Not only i have a newfound respect for warhammer 40k but i dont think i enjoyed the pure series as much as i enjoyed the series with your amazing and detailed breakdown. Thank you soo much brother.

Being new to Warhammer and wanting to learn about the world, I watched all these shows on my own. And while they are a feast for the eyes, I could hardly tell what was going on most of the time and couldn't follow who was on the same side, why people fought, etc. But now getting to rewatch in a way here and get WAY more of the lore I needed as a newb, Im really getting to love these shows. thanks for this! truly needed work

Hope they make a Space Wolf series...not too partial to the single minded religious dogma of some chapters. I much prefer the grounded nature of the wolves that don't buy into the "God Emperor" religious cult zealotry.

Beginning is awesome. Probably watched it like a 100 times. A part of me feels that a fully auto .75 cal Storm bolter would turn a 12x12 hallway into into a soup container.

There's so many different chapters out there it's so overwhelming for someone fairly new to the universe as a whole. Question, if anybody has the answer. Is there a chapter out there who's all had xenos words etched into their armor? You know, like one insulting phrase from each xenos race is etched visibly on their armor for no other reason than to insult their enemies? Like the last thing the enemy xenos will see is this big, hulking sonofabitch with something like "I fucked your mother last night." etched into their armor in their language?

A battle between loyalties and duties, yes the safety and protection of a single individual is great, but if it also risks the lives of both the crew and the precious gene seeds then the death of even a captain is inconsequential compared to the loss of over three hundred new marines

Is it just me or is the sound work here kind of all over the place? The storm bolter for instance, the sound of it firing was awesome but then he throws it to the side and the sound it makes when it hit the ground is like, I dunno, someone dropping a glock on a kitchen table not tossing pounds of machine gun halfway across the room onto a stone floor....
I imagine a lot of it is thematic intention but still... ...
I just cancelled my Warhammer TV Subscription after trying to watch this very series. Took an hour to watch 20 minutes of show due to the constant buffering.
