      @@FishatDT I agree with you, wasn’t being that guy in the comments that feels the need to defend someone who is more than capable of doing that themselves. I don’t support anyone who doesn’t support our troops and a foreigner saying that someone whom didn’t serve their country stole valor. That’s what really upset me. Anyway you do you.     Andrew, I want you to know you literally changed my life. Your skills and knowledge, understanding of survival laws, positive attitude and amazing experience - I feel like a sponge, absorbing all of that.     The pump drill has got to be the most exotic of primative methods to start a fire. You could do a whole video just on that.

    If you put down a piece of tarp, when you do your carving, you can collect those chips, which will come in handy when you need to build a fire

    Шел 21й век. Планета завалена пластиковым мусором по колено. Беру с собой складную пилу, топор, и иду делать кружку из полена :) Если вам лень делать дымогенератор из веток, но у вас есть сухой спирт и огонь - можете поджечь ближайшую покрышку. Взять с собой веревку, чтобы сплести из нее веревку? Веревки давно уже нарезают из баклажек от воды.

    Man that knife you've got goin is wicked sharp..what an edge...Hatchet too...I was looking for a brand but on my phone I can't see it...I've paused and looked 10x already...I've been contemplating a new knife.. I carry an old (40 yrs) case xx 4 dot 8" fixed ... it's getting to be more like a fillet knife...Does anyone know what brand knife that is?

    Rub these sticks together and they'll create the heat you need to light the match u have in your pocket. Save you striking it against maybe a wet substance and ruining your match. If all else fails take out your lighter rub it against a tree for an hour

    This nails it exactly. Survival is a mindset. Seeing what resources are available to you and how to use the resources. I remember watching the videos of the guy who lived in Alaska by himself (Dick Preneke, Alone in the Wilderness). Watching him build his cabin was mind blowing.

      Also, just an idea for another video, I tried looking and can’t find a video anywhere of someone doing a comparison on Kevlar cord verses Bank line and which is better for what. You can throw paracord in there as well and maybe some of your favorite uses for them.
      Seeing your take on making a raised platform shelter between a couple of close trees would be cool to watch as well.

    Great stuff. Been meaning to ask you where to find the hollow belt that you can put a bow saw blade into. Can't recall what it was called and I've not had any success finding one.

    I'm not criticizing but it would have helped when you was making your mail it to cut the ring around the top while it was still hung to the tree and then you wouldn't have to fight it on the ground
