@@CA-cg3uf He says, to deliver the sheetrock to the garage, he stated he didn't know what was on the order, but he knew where he wanted the sheetrock, if that was part of the plan, he didn't know it. Anyone in their right mind would ask to put it where they need it, it's up to him the delivery driver to say Yes, or No. It's nonsense. I hate clickbait more than anything on the internet.

Right. I usually do all my stuff myself unless it doesn't make sense not to but if someone else is doing something for me(payed or not) or on my behalf i will go out of my way to make it as simple, easy, and straight forward for them. Took my tuck in for the airbag recall(inside passenger side of dash)-emptied entire interior, emptied both in dash gloveboxes, left note about electric accessories(retains power) so the tech wouldn't take an airbag to the face even though he disconnected the batteries. Go for an inspection, sticky note on my paperwork upon pulling in with exact mileage and plate number(reassurance incase it comes off).
I hate when someone asks me to haul something or deliver it to them(friends and family i won't charge, except for fuel if its far) yet they themselves won't/"can't" take the ride with you because "an hour is a long boring drive". So they expect you to unload your vehicle. Drive to wherever, load, strap, drive to their place, text then you arrived, unload yourself, start banging on the door. Only for them to answer groggy because they were sleeping the last 12 hours. Then they expect you to clear a pathway through their house or yard to where whatever is going. And then have the stupidity to mention installing it for them. Yet, you still have to clean up your straps. Maybe go disconnect your trailer, then go reload anything you have taken off your truck. I guess I'm part of the problem. Knowing the PITA it is dealing with other people's shit is the reason i do what i can to make it easiest for the person doing for me. So then they don't realize the hassle they end up causing when they don't do their part for the people doing for them.

But that's when service was available through good business. I really miss those days when you pulled up for gas and you had your tank filled oil checked tires aired up and windows washed . And your shoes was buff leaving the men's room, the garbage man putting your can back where it belongs, the milk man ringing the doorbell to let you know that there's ice cold milk in the cold box. Sorry people of today you have no clue what service is and how to respect the people who provides it for you.

Show up at the customer’s site and learn that they expect their stuff delivered via goat path in back of the house.8 ft wood sliders were the best. Only a few days the ride home wasn’t filled with cussing the sales guy for not being clear on curbside or inside deliveries.

He was instructed to back into one of the two 12’ wide garage door openings separated by a 4’ wall, so his men could stand on the truck bed and hand the shingles to the guys on the roof. The driver back right into the 4’ wall. Lucky it did not come completely off the foundation under it.

Reminds me of a lady that bought round bales and expected our delivery person to feed it for them into like 20 different pens which took 5 hours and then asked if we were donating the hay after price had been discussed . She had to pay. Then she was blacklisted from the service.

When tasked with drilling a 4” hole through 18” of reinforced concrete I planned to wet drill using a forklift to hold the drill (Plan A). When I asked about the computer server below it I was told it can’t be moved and can’t be turned off. I said “No problem, we’ll just destroy it in place.” (Plan B, the unacceptable alternative). They accepted Plan C.
