Great selection of fall essentials! I especially appreciate the focus on timeless pieces like the trench coat and Chelsea boots. I hadn't considered a Barbour wax jacket before, but it's definitely on my wishlist now.
I'd add a pair of good quality, slim leather gloves, probably in a dark walnut brown, I have many pairs of different colours depending on my outfit but I think with the right pair on the hands it can lift any outfit! You can switch to a heavier pair when winter arrives.
Never got the sppeal of chelsea boots. They aren't any more weatherproof than regular shoes. The ones with the aggressive sole look terrible and rain/snow still leaks in the side.
@ahoneyman just got back from an autumn beach walk wearing my Cheaney Tamar C Chelsea’s. Pair great with chinos, denim, moleskine or cords and are as water resistant as you’d ever need for urban / country life. 👍🏻
Great, classic essentials video! Your content is always clear and concise, I love following! I’m in the market for some dark chocolate suede footwear and looking to prioritize versatility. For yourself and your style, would you suggest suede tassels loafers, chukkas, or brogue derbies? I know they serve different purposes but what would you go with as a first pickup?
Thanks for watching, Simon. I think they can look great. I'd personally go for suede, if possible, because it's a bit easier to wear with most other items, but they can definitely fit into a quiet luxury wardrobe.
@@Lukas_Schanderl I am currently trying out proper cloth,it’s pricey compared to spier & mackay but I wasted too much money on spier & mackay shirts that I can’t even wear.
@@yuta3699 I agree, their shirts are not the best. I like their scarves, sweaters and some trousers, but the shirts feel thin and cheap. Proper Cloth is great :) Really good quality
Excellent list!!!!!!!
Thank you, Kenneth 🙏

You're right. Especially on longer walks they are essential
Good as always👏

All I wear his flannel wool slacks in fall with roll neck jumper with a cardigan at my casual outfit with tassels loafers

What would be your boot of choice?
@@Lukas_Schanderl A lace up boot for actual.fall/winter bad weather and maybe a double monk for a different look than an oxford.

What is your opinion on leather jackets? Ralph Lauren does sell some of those, and could be considered old money or quiet luxury in your opinion?
Thanks for watching, Simon.

Great video from you as always, however spier & mackay have depreciated in quality and I have moved on from them.
Thank you 🙏

Turtle necks & Chelsea boots won’t suit all body types. Scarf is an underrated accessory
