Endless Forms Most Beautiful is also the album name. Yes, evolution is the theme of the whole album, ending with 'The Greatest Show on Earth'. I don't remember seeing a reaction to this exact song before.

There are a few reactions to Endless Forms out there.
I have always said that this might be the most under rated and under reacted to Nightwish song… this song has everything that I like about this band from the lyrics, the choir sounds, Marko singing, it’s light in spots and it’s also very heavy in spots, and this song does a wonderful job of tension and release. You know the quiet before the storm, and then the storm and then the quiet again.

Panthalassa (also mentioned in the song) was the super ocean surrounding the one continent called Pangaea. Since all life started in the ocean the song is discussing those times. "The Greatest Show On Earth" - the last song of this concert - finishes up this concept. Marco/Floor/Troy all sing and growl/grunt there.

"Pale blue ark" = Earth (a reference to Pale blue dot)
Eve mentioned here is about Mitohondrial Eve, not from myth about Adam and Eve. Music video for this song is fun to see since Floor at some moment looks like she had Floorgasm :)
Whilst I do not subscribe to the theory of evolution I wholeheartedly subscribe to the music of Nightwish and this banger 🙏👍😊❤️

Thank you very much for a great reaction. I love the whole album and not only because I am very much interested in paleontology and the theory of evolution. Tiktaalik and - from the song "The greatest show on Earth" - Lucy of the Afar had been wellknown to me but I had to look for "Goldilock's Zone" and "LUCA". The Aye-Aye is a lemur that still lives at Madagascar. With the songs from this album you can really learn a lot.

Most who know won't care to comment about this, but Endless Forms Most Beautiful and Human :II: Nature are 2 of a 3 part album series according to Tuomas.
The themes celebrate the evolution of everything including music, life in general, humanity, our existence starting with the big bang, and everything in between, like religion, etc....
Nightwish has announced their 10th album, "Yesterwynde" on their channel if you wish to take a peek at the song titles, and has a launch date of September 20th.
The first single, "Perfume of the Timeless" is the 5th track and will be released on May 21, the day before my birthday.

They offer a "pre-save" of the single on many music platforms if you're interested. A link is included in the announcement on their UA-cam channel.
This song gives a nod to all life. Truly a beautiful song.

Says it all, that's all you need to know when it comes down to understanding what this track is all about. With this remark; Replace "Our floating pale blue ark", with "Planet Earth", and you're golden!

The album, also titled "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" is well worth reacting to every song....to me, it is a masterpiece and Tuomas Holopainen is a musical genius.
I don't know if it is Twitch...or just UA-cam...but the song was rather distorted... like watching a 1930's movie on an old Black and White TV. I know the song by heart..so it didn't bother me. The Official Lyrics Video for this song is exceptional.

So this song, and the album of the same name, indeed revolve around evolution and the history of Earth and life on it.
If you watch the Wembley versio of The Greatest Show on Earth, there's Richard Dawkins reading the last passages of that book aloud in the end of the song and concert.

Evolution is a bankrupt theory, there are many scientists who have talked about this and even the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, one of the basic laws of physics, totally disproves evolution. Never liked Nightwish, now I dislike them even more.
