Fun fact, Blade Trinity is to thank that Reynolds is Deadpool today . A crew member made a comment about how Reynolds reminds him of Deadpool . So Ryan checked it out and after origins he became set on creating the deadpool movie
With regards to why he has trouble with the new claws as opposed to the bone claws it's actually pretty easy. THe bone claws could pretty much only be used for stabbing someone since they had circular points. Conversely his new blades have actual edges to them that can cut and slash things, and on top of that they are made of indestructible metal that won't ever get dull, thus they can cut anything with the smallest amount of pressure. In other words he basically got new claws that can do things he never could do with his old ones, hence the need for some adjustment.
The thing that pissed me off with Gambit was his eyes. They are supposed to be black/red all the time. The reason he was abandoned as a baby, adopted by a thief family..... Gah!!!@
I love your reviews so much man. I hope you can get back to making them again some day. You're one of my favorite movie review/synopsis channels on UA-cam.
Ok I looked it up and Zero can absort kinestic energy through impact with little to no harm. So if this is the same guyt then the guns are nothing to do with it besides he can easily take being shot. And a quick read up of his story shows he was utterly Shafted by this film as well.
I felt that, even if this film was a success, they screwed themselves out of a Wolverine series that explored Logan's past by this film being set mostly in 1979. Kind of like, you know, the comics.
Will you ever review "Logan"? The whole PTSD and breaking down aspect is much more present there, making it - in my eyes - the most realistic and heartbreaking of all the X-Men movies.
I remember that it pissed me off INFINITELY more the way they screwed up Gambit than what they did to Deadpool. Yes, Deadpools depiction got under my skin, but I am FROM Louisiana and Gambit was always my favorite mutant by far. What do we get here? No cajun accent, no cajun slang, no smoothness with women (or what LeBeau thinks is smoothness anyway), and no badass duster jacket. Good GOD they fucked this up on so many levels it almost seems intentional. Edit - And what the Hell was with the "magical playing card arc in the air and then propelling them in a rapid fire line without actually throwing them" bullshit? In the comics, Gambit THREW and FLIPPED them at opponents and targets. This movie makes it look like he has telekinesis or something. Yeah, this is pissing me off all over again. lol The first time I saw this movie was through the unfinished workprint that leaked online long before the movie was supposed to be released in theaters. I remember thinking to myself, "There is no way they can possibly keep Gambit the way he is in this workprint.". Boy was I fucking wrong.
If Fox didn't get in their own way this movie probably could've been good. I hate when studios do this. Every time you hear about studio interference it always turns out to be them getting in the way and making movies worst causing themselves millions. Sn:I hate what they turned some classic mutants into in this movie. Well the fox X-Men movies always had a bad habit of taking great Mutants and making them trash, EX: Storm, Jean grey with or without Phoenix, cyclops, jubilee, Juggernaut Bitch(Not really a mutant but.....shut up)., DARWIN!!, Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique, Rouge, damn near anyone who isn't Wolverine Magneto or professor X. But for this I'm specifically talking about Gambit & Blob. His power is not just "strong guy" Being Fat is apart of his mutant abilities.
Foster mom? No, no, that was his real, aristocratic mom who had an affair with a commoner, making Logan and Victor half brothers. The rough man was screaming for the rich man's wife because: sordid love triangle. Hence, child Logan looks at his mother in disbelief and possibly a little disgust, her lack of much reaction confirming the claim to be more than just a lie. I imagine the rich man believed he was father of Logan even as he died on his own welcome mat. RIP rich man
I've always found the most egregious flaw in this entire film to be the HumVees after the barn scene. This movie is supposed to take place in 1979, but HumVees weren't even invented until 1985, and weren't widely used until the nineties
If that’s THE MOST egregious thing the film has done for you it faired surprisingly well, after all you could argue that the events that lead to the creation of the humVee happened a mere 6 years earlier, or perhaps the secret and experimental military organisation had access to them 6 years earlier then anywhere else, the point I’m trying make when it comes to this film, theres bigger fish to fry.
@@deusdeaconReviews Oh yeah, I totally agree. This is easily the worst X-Men film. Perhaps I should've said that the HumVees were the thing that stuck out to me the most. Little details like that always pop out to me. Love the content you make, dude! Watching your Van Helsing review again right now. I hope someday you review League of Extraordinary Gentlemen!!
I remember being pissed off within the first 5 minutes of this movie because Wolverine and Sabertooth ARE NOT brothers!!! Even the creators of Sabertooth thought that would be way too cliche.
I mean this film actually is one of the few cases I think they should have split it into 2, spent the first one focusing on Logan and Viktor in war times and his time with the mercenary group ending on him getting his metal bones, then spent the next film on his revenge, perhaps having to fight against each of the team members as he goes with Deadpool either being removed or having a comedy cameo of acting like he's going to fight then mocking him and leaving in some way or them slicing each other up for a bit before getting bored and deciding sod it.
If only the opening montage was the films main storyine, it could of been a good flick with some creative ideas based around the various wars in history, instead of this cinematic mess.
The arm swords thing has always stuck in mind. It’s funny to think Stryker and his team went through the whole grafting process and it never occurred to them that it would be a problem. What’s even more ridiculous is they set it up early on when wades gushing about how much he loves his katanas
The worst part of this shitfest is that Weapon XI is Weapon X, in the comics Wolverine was wearing a helmet that aloud his handlers to control him and he was just wearing shorts.
I got annoyed that none of the reviews I've seen of this movie even mention Gambit's powers. So, because I only know Gambit from the cartoons and this movie, I looked him up before making a dumb comment to be sure about it. And, turns out...He's not as much of a one trick pony as most of the X-Men. Because making stuff go BOOM isn't his only power. He can, in fact, do exactly what he does in the movie, AND he's immune to mind altering powers, AND he has a subtle hypnotic charm effect that he can use to convince people of things if they don't know about it.
Since you made reference to other X-Men movies for this review here are two other observations. In X-Men First Class bad guy Sebastian Shaw stated that mutants were the children of the atom, that mutants got their powers from radiation. Then how does Shaw explain mutants like Logan, Victor and Magneto (not to mention Shaw himself) who were born before the creation of the first atom bombs? In the movie X2- X Men United Logan is shot in the forehead by a cop and immediately falls to the ground, knocked out cold. In X-Men Origins after he undergoes the adamantium process, while trying to escape he is fired upon multiple time in the face and he doesn't even blink let alone get knocked out.
yeah that ptsd would have helped his character along massively, hell not just going through that many wars and seeing the various new and terrible ways humans can kill each other as time goes on but the fact that he would have likely made many freinds in those fights and would have had to either watch them all die in battle or of old age while he kept going, survivors guilt would have definitely set in at that point as well, hell if victor became a kill crazy war monger who treated it all like a game logal could have turned into a protector for his fellow soldiers and blames himself when he fails to keep them alive, slowly showing him fighting more and more viscously like victor but for a different reason, getting him closer to that badass who actually gives a shit character hes known for
At 15.07, that wasn't a dogs head, it was a wolverines. Victor left it where he knew Logan would find it as part of a message/threat, the other part being the claw marks on the tree.
Deusdaecon Reviews Yeah, it's like they didn't plan to answer for that. Or the fact that wolverine can swim when his skeleton is covered in a metal which I assume has a larger mass than water (practically drowning him) when he arrives to the island
This is my 3rd time listening/watching this review because I love the way Deus gives it. he's hilarious, and he expresses a lot of things I was thinking at the time I watched this film -- which was such a disappointment. The excellent and fun review makes this dreadful film more palatable.
thats my little joke about how in films bullets almost disappear once they’ve done some impressive trick, filmmakers don’t seem to remember that bullets travel quite far.
I cannot agree more mate. Like I said in my other comment on this page, I am actually FROM southern Louisiana. So seeing their bullshit homogenized version of him pissed me off SO much more than what they did to Deadpool. At least Deadpool got his own damned franchise to fix the depiction of the character. Gambits movie starring Channing Tatum got shitcanned when Fox was bought by Disney. I just hope to God they dont fuck him up as well when they finally slot the X-Men into the MCU.
Loved that he said how boring Cyclops character is. Soooo true! Always thought he was a namby-pamby nonentity. Loved this review. I paid money to see this film.
What’s funny about Logan jumping out of the plane is that the movie references him be extremely heavy when he sits on the motorcycle... so how the hell does he swim? Wouldn’t he just sink to the bottom of the lake?
would the adamantium bullet really penetrate his skull? isn't the problem of cracking his skull about force of the bullet, changing bullet might help a little but doesn't it all come down to the force of which the bullet on impact transmits?
force is part of it but the hardness of the object is important too and the bullet is the same hardness as his skull, same reason a diamond is one of the few things that can scratch a diamond
@@deusdeaconReviews but comparing to the examples of indestructibility of adamantium wouldn't it be like if you gently taped a diamond with another diamond?
+Calum Lynch I'd like to review all the xmen films, but i cant really any idea of when, I would like to direct you to my patreon page www.patreon.com/DeusdaeconReviews Nothings esstential or required, Just letting you know of all the options.
YES! I'm glad this has been uploaded on to youtube. Deusdeacon I've got a question for you. Are you as excited as I am for Ryan Reynolds Deadpool movie? XD XD
The whole Deadpool scene only pissed me off because in the newer movies that Ryan Reynolds played Deadpool in it was a completely different back story like they pissed on this movie unless I was a different timeline
Days of Future Past altered the timeline for the X-Men Cinematic Universe. Doesn't change the fact they still royally fucked up the continuity, though. Two Emma Frosts, two Archangels, so on and so forth. Deadpool's story in that universe was one of the things that were intentionally changed with the timeline alterations. There were also things from Origins that DoFP shouldn't have been able to change but still did (they cut Victor out of Logan's story entirely).
yeah I've been made aware many times since making this video, honest mistake, however it does bring up the question of whether the film should've made that more obvious, but i think thats the needle in the haystack of problems with this film.
Deusdaecon Reviews lmao I remember being so happy when I heard it was being made then the disappointment of what it was. I’m happy to see you uploading more again. Can’t wait to see what you review next
I looked up agent zero's(as he is known in the comics)powers so here are his powers Original Powers: Kinetic Absorption: Nord's primary mutant power was the ability to absorb the energy caused by a kinetic impact. While this power did have limits, Nord could survive a 10 story fall, powerful blasts of energy, and being struck with superhuman force without being injured. Regenerative Healing Factor: Upon joining the Weapon X Program, Nord was artificially granted a slight healing factor by the program similar to the ones possessed by Wolverine and Sabretooth, though far inferior to theirs. As a result, he could fully heal from mild to moderate injuries faster and more extensively than a normal human. This healing factor also made him highly resistant, if not immune, to most diseases and toxins. It also greatly suppressed Nord's natural aging process, causing him to age much slower. However, after contracting the Legacy Virus, Nord burned out his artificial healing factor and his power to absorb the energy of kinetic impact was reduced considerably.
yep also in the comics he can shoot good cuz he was trained by many marksmen and the reason he can handle many injuries better is this little piece of info Mercenary Decades passed and Maverick developed a reputation as one of the best hired guns available. Maverick compensated for his lack of powers with meticulous planning and a reliance on the latest technology. His suit consisted of fiberglass armor, a padded kevlar lining, and airtight seals that allowed him to seal the suit for further protection. His mask contained a limited oxygen supply as well as infrared scanning and target systems. The suit's offensive capabilities were tailored to his missions' needs. He worked for private parties and governmental agencies alike, taking several contracts from retired Major Arthur Barrington, the man who had brought North into the CIA. he has a suhit that Is tailored for his every mission
and Abilities Even without his mutant powers, Zero is a proficient hand-to-hand combatant, a phenomenal marksman, and an expert in covert operations and demolitions. He also has vast experience with computers and communications equipment.
I don't care what he says Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) was funny as fuck in this as far as him as Deadpool in this not so much. Which even he hated but he still loved to Deadpool character.
I think it is implied that James' mom had an affair with Victor's father, not that Jaames is adopted. I could be wrong, it's been a while since I watched this, but this is the vibe it gave me.
From what I can tell there was no implication either way however, A step mother immediately denouncing her step child as a monster, is more believable then if he was her actual born son, which is why I chose to believe he was adopted, if not then that moment is written worse then what I thought.
@@deusdeaconReviews Hey, thank you for your reply! (I really do) Just wanted to say that the way I interpreted it is that Elizabeth had an affair with Victor's dad, her husband suspected it, hence the animosity between the two men. I have to mention though that I've never read the comics, so I don't know how different the source material is (I was 15 when X-Men the movie came out and I am not sure if back then comics were readily available in Romania back then). However, I would like to her your thoughts on "Logan". Not a perfect movie, far from it, but I find it to be a nice send-off of a beloved character. I mean, they didn't drag it out until it became so pathetic that we wished it would die (unlike Jack Sparrow in The Curse of Unnecessary Sequels). Plus Dafne Keen as mini-Logan is super-creepy in the right way.
the game has a shit ton of blood and is very great also in one comic universe of marvel GAY COWBOY WOLVERINE HAS ADAMANTINE CLAWS GIVEN FROM HERCULESE HIS BF(adamantine is the original base the humans meant to create but came out with adamantium those are not magnetic but trice as hard as adamantium)
Also comic book logic doez not work here Deus because Deadpool bullet cutting swords bee and arthur are made out of adamantium Aka not even existitng yet
Ive no idea what you mean, Are you saying that it makes no sense for wades to use swords made out of adamantium while on a mission to find the few scraps of adamantium striker is desperately trying to find at all cost ? cause I would agree with you there Edit: if the swords are adamantium, why is wade sharpening them when we first see him ?
yeah thats true the winter solider killed wolverines wife in the comics but the winter solider has only been around in comics since 2005 so thats quite recently introduced canon, also they wouldn't have used that storyline for this film simply because of the separate rights held for the x-men and the rest of the marvel universe.
At least they didn't fuck up DeadPool Amd ryan probably had to kill someone to get that killing his shit self from this movie, clip in on Deadpool 2s epilogue
+andrick wellington yes i will , not sure when though, I should say as well theres allways my patreon page www.patreon.com/DeusdaeconReviews, its not nessacery just putting it out there.
Fox had their shit together with first class and days of future past but fucked it all up again with apocalypse. Seems to be a trend two good x-men movies, two bad ones, then two good ones again. Am i the only one to notice that?
I agree I only that don't nobody give a f*** about a Deadpool origin and a Wolverine movie it doesn't make sense to the Deadpool movie for god sakes like in the end of the second movie dude gets decapitated so how the hell is Ryan Reynolds in the next Deadpool movie
If it weren’t for the half assed version of Deadpool, this movie would have been pretty good. Personally liked this version of Sabretooth. Edit: I give this video a dislike because there was too many fucking ads! 🤬
So, did Days of Future Past end up eliminating this film from the continuity? Obviously, the Deadpool film acknowledges this as part of the jokes, but clearly doesn't accept it as canon.
The Deadpool movie is probably gonna suck since well we know what's going to happen Deadpool wins with ease since he is Deadpool and there fore nothing can kill him or really even hurt him plus he has that lovely ability of I am losing better threaten the writer fourth wall braking style so I can win cause Deadpool I know people give Superman shit for being OP but Deadpool is just as bad
deusdeacon well look at the Deadpool video game first time through very funny game but second and third time not so much it's one of those issues with the Deadpool style of humor the jokes are funny yes but in the very blunt one you get the punch line they not really that funny once heard again and another big issue is I don't think Deadpool is a character that has the lasting power for a full lenth live action movie he is a character best used in short burts of insanity not to mention his powers aren't exactly the most interesting two of which tend to be used for comedic effect but the argue with the narrator gag ,make a very meta joke and the well thanks to your reviews what I now call the wishmaster style of immortality bit can only be used soo many times before it gets well old hat and let's be honest Deadpool's personality is an aquired taste and that can become gratting after a while since it's fairly one dimensional he is a smart ass perv thats the majority of his personality yes he does have some depth but the odds of them showing any of that depth is unlikely and the last issue is alot of Deadpool's humor is pop reference heavy which don't get me wrong that is one of American comedy's strongest areas along with physical humor but unlike physical humor pop reference humor not only dates the movie but if you rewatch the movie say 6 years later most of the jokes just won't be funny then.
+michaelkeha Hmm, Yeah I see what your saying and yeah i do agree that the deadpool is best once and that pretty much it, But to play devils advocate a little bit alot your criticsms about the comedy aspect could honestly be leveled at almost any other comedy film out there, but theres plenty of those id be happy to watch over and over, and yeah the charachter is deffinatly an aquired taste no argument there, but im just thinking that movies dont need to be for everyone surely and people who like that sort of thing will enjoy, but yeah i complelty understand where your coming and you make a great point that deadpool for the most part is a secondary charchter, he needs others to play off his wackiness, otherwise its a constant bombardement of chaos.
deusdeacon Exactly he needs a foil other wise it doesn't work very well I agree movies don't have to be for everyone but given how many Deadpool "fans" there are out there that are going to go to watch this movie not realising what they know about Deadpool isn't exactly on the money so they will be honestly shocked if not out right hate Deadpool afterwards this is a case of if they do a movie for the real fans of Deadpool anyone who isn't really into him will dislike the movie but if you water what makes Deadpool well Deadpool down depending on how much you either just piss off the hardcore fans or you piss off everybody as for you comment about comedy movies that comes down to what type of comedy american comedy yes I agree more so with the modern stuff and anything with Seth Rogan and Jonah Hill in it only gets to be called comedy if said to half wits are getting beaten to a pulp(I really really dislike there version of comedy) British comedy stands the test of time better purely because alot of the humor is based on razor wit rather than say pop refernces and South African comedy lasts really well pretty much any Leon Schuster movie is comedy gold granted it's low brow comedy of the highest order and there is some humor that only a South African will find funny(but this can be said of any country's comedy some jokes only locals get) and you do need to watch his older what we call movie movies of his with subs on(Leon does 2 types of comedy movies either a prank movie ala Oh Schuks I'm Gatvol with sometimes a loose story wrapping around it or a proper movie like There's a zulu on my stoep or Oh Schuks here comes UNTAG) I hight recomend you watch them oh and if you ever do a set of reviews on his movies I would love to work with you on them to help well translate not only local humor but also some of the accents.
+michaelkeha Well ill certain take alook at thoe movies they sound interesting and yeah being british i guess im used to a certain type of comedy in a way aswell but i gotta say that with deadpool you seemed to describe a danmed if they do and danmed if they dont kind of cath-22 with being for the fans or not which is certainly a really concern especially with comic book movies its very fine line they have to tread, and am i saying the movie is gonna be great not at all, im just saying from what ive seen so far they on the right track to at least make me hopefull that the movie will be good and finally give ryan ronolds the comic book roles hes been clambering for but only time will tell realy, but i will be seeing it pretty much the week it comes out so i guess this conversation proves that need to do a vlog on what i thought about it i think.
@@SuperSwordman1 I love how they portray Wolverine as manly as fuck because he's like a compound of 6 different manly lifetimes with all the accumulated, quintessentially masculine traumas. He's traumatized from trying to save his mother from his abusive "father" he's got like 18 wars worth of PTSD, his only relationship with other men is one of violent competition and when he DOES manage to authentically connect with another human being, a woman, he is denied the comfort it should bring; firstly because his conditioning prevents him from showing vulnerability and secondly because his girlfriend gets killed for her proximity to him.
at least the game based off the movie is better than this shithole. For several reasons, A. Character accurate gore( the game is rated M, well the ps3 and Xbox 360 version anyway ), B. An improvement of the movie’s terrible story, and B. Made the Gambit fight something to actually look forward to.

they don't say anything about the swords its pretty much a case of "katanas are magic" which usually occurs in movies.

Yeah, it's like they didn't plan to answer for that.
At 34:26 is the best part. Love it
Blob wouldn't be able to fight at all as a boxer as he could barely move
did you see him get punched ? i don’t think he needs to move, unless his opponent is just as super strong.
12:51 love the fact you made it sound like someone got shot from that
thats my little joke about how in films bullets almost disappear once they’ve done some impressive trick, filmmakers don’t seem to remember that bullets travel quite far.
@@deusdeaconReviews well now ill be thinking that everytime i see a scene like that
Excellent result I’d say, thank you
@@deusdeaconReviews thank you btw have you ever seen green lantern the animated series
No, I have not but I’m sure its better then the film
I love this movie, not gonne lie. I will definitely agree though, I was pissed off about Gambit. He was my favorite character and they butchered him.
I had to watch the leaked test footage of Deadpool to feel better about this movie... wonderful review, as usual.
Even the newspaper says 'Circus Freak Murdered'...
Loved that he said how boring Cyclops character is. Soooo true! Always thought he was a namby-pamby nonentity. Loved this review. I paid money to see this film.
Thank God Deadpool got to go and ‘fix’ this piece of shit treatment of him
What’s funny about Logan jumping out of the plane is that the movie references him be extremely heavy when he sits on the motorcycle... so how the hell does he swim?
Wouldn’t he just sink to the bottom of the lake?
I love this movie
Arguably, couldn't a concussive blast create enough friction on surfaces to induce combustion?
yes in the same way that if you punch a wall you'll also generate heat but you aint gonna melt the bricks.
Wonder if he's seen Logan yet?
No I havent yet, But I will be seeing it soon.
I don't know if this is true but if objects of the same durability strike each other, I think they can be damaged.
would the adamantium bullet really penetrate his skull? isn't the problem of cracking his skull about force of the bullet, changing bullet might help a little but doesn't it all come down to the force of which the bullet on impact transmits?
force is part of it but the hardness of the object is important too and the bullet is the same hardness as his skull, same reason a diamond is one of the few things that can scratch a diamond
@@deusdeaconReviews but comparing to the examples of indestructibility of adamantium wouldn't it be like if you gently taped a diamond with another diamond?
to be honest its a bit pointless explaining and making excuses for this film its not worth it, so lets not engage with sisyphean nonsense
Will you review X-Men 3 The Last Stand?
+Calum Lynch I'd like to review all the xmen films, but i cant really any idea of when, I would like to direct you to my patreon page www.patreon.com/DeusdaeconReviews Nothings esstential or required, Just letting you know of all the options.
How did Deadpool get Baraka blades ?
they gave him tarkatan dna
YES! I'm glad this has been uploaded on to youtube. Deusdeacon I've got a question for you. Are you as excited as I am for Ryan Reynolds Deadpool movie? XD XD
I meant playes sabre tooth as well as Logan real dad
I can watch this in the U.S. now, wow, awesome!
I love the super geek knowledge. It is always a welcome nit pick.
So the teacher just gave cyclops detention for having a headache???
@15:03 that’s not a dead dog but a dead Wolverine! I know you don’t have them up where your from mate but that’s what it is
yeah I've been made aware many times since making this video, honest mistake, however it does bring up the question of whether the film should've made that more obvious, but i think thats the needle in the haystack of problems with this film.
Deusdaecon Reviews lmao I remember being so happy when I heard it was being made then the disappointment of what it was. I’m happy to see you uploading more again. Can’t wait to see what you review next
wait but how did victor know she told logan that story
Is that Foamy the Squirrel in the background (...two of them)?
+fthoughts foamy and pil-ze the squirrel actualy
Normally, I totally agree with him, but, did he just tell Deadpool to shut up? 😳
This is NOT deadpool
@@deusdeaconReviews don't get me wrong the ending part isn't, but the beginning is pretty close. Deadpool, really doesn't know when to shut up.
@@deusdeaconReviews also, made my morning that you replied. Thank you.
well considering the “real” deadpool made very clear his contempt for this version in deadpool 2 , I’m gonna side with him
Also I appreciate you watching and despite a difference of opinion your enjoying the videos.
I looked up agent zero's(as he is known in the comics)powers so here are his powers
Original Powers:
Kinetic Absorption: Nord's primary mutant power was the ability to absorb the energy caused by a kinetic impact.
So basically nothing that would explain how he did the things he did in this film.
yep also in the comics he can shoot good cuz he was trained by many marksmen and the reason he can handle many injuries better is this little piece of info
Mercenary
Decades passed and Maverick developed a reputation as one of the best hired guns available. He worked for private parties and governmental agencies alike, taking several contracts from retired Major Arthur Barrington, the man who had brought North into the CIA. he has a suhit that Is tailored for his every mission
and Abilities
Even without his mutant powers, Zero is a proficient hand-to-hand combatant, a phenomenal marksman, and an expert in covert operations and demolitions. He also has vast experience with computers and communications equipment.
so this movie mad up his ability to jump like a humanoid grasshopper and didn't even care to put in his powers or his (in the comics)iconic suit
It's kinda annoying that the guy who Logan killed is sabre tooth
So are they saying wolverine can regrow bones cuz if not , one of his claws should be shorter
yeah regrowing bones has never been a problem
Yes, guy! He can regrow Anything. But what stops him from drowning?
Clarence G Boddicker I think that mask right . I’m not watching this over but I remember him having a mask on in one of these things
the game has a shit ton of blood and is very great also in one comic universe of marvel GAY COWBOY WOLVERINE HAS ADAMANTINE CLAWS GIVEN FROM HERCULESE HIS BF(adamantine is the original base the humans meant to create but came out with adamantium those are not magnetic but trice as hard as adamantium)
With Nostalgia Critic no doubt reviewing this movie later today, I come back to this video to hear a real comic fan talk about it
I appreciate that.
One of my friends said that this was the worst superhero movie she had ever seen. Can't really blame her.
Also comic book logic doez not work here Deus because Deadpool bullet cutting swords bee and arthur are made out of adamantium
Aka not even existitng yet
Ive no idea what you mean, Are you saying that it makes no sense for wades to use swords made out of adamantium while on a mission to find the few scraps of adamantium striker is desperately trying to find at all cost ? cause I would agree with you there
Edit: if the swords are adamantium, why is wade sharpening them when we first see him ?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Winter Solider connected to Wolverine in some way? I swear I heard that he was the one who shot Logan's girlfriend
yeah thats true the winter solider killed wolverines wife in the comics but the winter solider has only been around in comics since 2005 so thats quite recently introduced canon, also they wouldn't have used that storyline for this film simply because of the separate rights held for the x-men and the rest of the marvel universe.
@@deusdeaconReviews Okay. I mean, I figured it was the split rights thing
He and Cap have history together
It's me! deadpool (Italian accent)
At least they didn't fuck up DeadPool
Amd ryan probably had to kill someone to get that killing his shit self from this movie, clip in on Deadpool 2s epilogue
At least the Score was good.
hey des are you going to review the wolverine as well?
+andrick wellington yes i will , not sure when though, I should say as well theres allways my patreon page www.patreon.com/DeusdaeconReviews, its not nessacery just putting it out there.
+deusdeacon awesome I'll check it out
Yeah, the way the makers of this movie treated the very serious issue of PTSD is disgusting.
Are you gonna do Logan 2?
Why the hell create Deadpool rather then having Weapon X a.k.a Logan do the mutant genocide ?
Let's hope the deadpool movie is better than this movie
HAHAHAHAHA
It was uhm... slightly better
If it weren’t for the half assed version of Deadpool, this movie would have been pretty good. Personally liked this version of Sabretooth.
Edit: I give this video a dislike because there was too many fucking ads! 🤬
i think youtube controls the ads now but idk how long has it been
Incongruous?
Incongruous = not in harmony or keeping with the surroundings or other aspects of something
Oh. Cool. Thanks :p
Did you like the Deadpool movie?
Yes, Indeed I did.
you know that renolds didn't want to be in this movie but was blackmailed into doing this deadpool or he would never get taken as deadpool ever
It was totally worth it then. People can probably stop complaining about his Weapon XI appearance now
even Deadpool itself couldn't not mock this film and reynolds character in it specifically, So I'd say its open season.
So, did Days of Future Past end up eliminating this film from the continuity? Obviously, the Deadpool film acknowledges this as part of the jokes, but clearly doesn't accept it as canon.
Is Agent Zero even a mutant? What type of power does he have?
Well, I've never seen a regular human able to pull of shots like that
So I guess I'm the only one who likes this movie?
Aron Halverson No, I like it too. But I also recognize it's not very good either.
@@ssrobs2552 I agree it's not the best movie but it's not the worst either
The Deadpool movie is probably gonna suck since well we know what's going to happen Deadpool wins with ease since he is Deadpool and there fore nothing can kill him or really even hurt him plus he has that lovely ability of I am losing better threaten the writer fourth wall braking style so I can win cause Deadpool I know people give Superman shit for being OP but Deadpool is just as bad
+michaelkeha how will the movie suck if its exactly like the comic though ? isn't that what were after in a deadpool movie ?
deusdeacon well look at the Deadpool video game first time through very funny game but second and third time not so much it's one of those issues with the Deadpool style of humor the jokes are funny yes but in the very blunt one you get the punch line they not really that funny once heard again and another big issue is I don't think Deadpool is a character that has the lasting power for a full lenth live action movie he is a character best used in short burts of insanity not to mention his powers aren't exactly the most interesting two of which tend to be used for comedic effect but the argue with the narrator gag ,make a very meta joke and the well thanks to your reviews what I now call the wishmaster style of immortality bit can only be used soo many times before it gets well old hat and let's be honest Deadpool's personality is an aquired taste and that can become gratting after a while since it's fairly one dimensional he is a smart ass perv thats the majority of his personality yes he does have some depth but the odds of them showing any of that depth is unlikely and the last issue is alot of Deadpool's humor is pop reference heavy which don't get me wrong that is one of American comedy's strongest areas along with physical humor but unlike physical humor pop reference humor not only dates the movie but if you rewatch the movie say 6 years later most of the jokes just won't be funny then.
Second review tonight where you comment on toxic masculinity
i do ?
Lol just jokes about manly man hugh jackman in this one, more subtle
@@bobdole1826 i really wouldn't call that 'toxic masculinity'. They just wanted to potray Logan as manly as fuck
Oh yeah, Raven software took several liberties like fighting a giant sentinel
Ive made a video on it pretty much consisting of me saying "this game is great and better then the movie" for 30 mins
Nah Ryan Reynolds was hilarious in this movie and you can't convince me otherwise
Not trying to convince you of anything, I dont know you.
🤗you are hilarious😭
PTSD was too dark, but an implied rape attempt wasn't?
