Good informations ! Stayed at Petit Salil, not again very small pool and not much. Stayed also at Ibis 10 years ago , nice view but no balcony. Prefer Centre Point Silom perfect location and BangRak is a nice area. Thomas Uppsala Sweden.
Very good detail and realistic reviews, especially from actually staying at the hotels. The only criticism is you don’t mention if the TV’s are Smart and have any English channels!
Thanks for this very nice comment. Good point about the TV's. I'll check that in the future, though I have to admit I rarely check that, and when I do, I'm mainly looking for French channels!😁

If there's nothing else, I'll do with it. But, IMHO, a 4-star or a 5-star hotel should offer more choice and better quality when it comes to tea. The same goes for coffee, by the way.
@@WanderlustReports Agreed! Btw do you live in Bangkok? I am planning to retire early and leave the States. Wondering what the cost of living in Bangkok is
No, I live in Paris, France. But I'm coming to Bangkok quite often. Cost of living for someone having a US pension is usually really great in Bangkok. You can rent a superb condo for less than USD 1,000 and food per day would cost less than USD 20
Great review as always. I'm with you on SureStay
Much appreciated 👍
Thanks for the in depth reviews. New sub here. Researching places to stay for 50 or under.
Thanks for subscribing!
I'll do a video about cheaper hotels in Bangkok soon.
great thorough review
Thanks 🙏
Excellent concise reviews of hotels you’d be unlikely to find on your own.
Thanks, my friend!
Indeed, the hotel scene in Bangkok is very large...

Thanks for the feedback, Thomas.
I'll have to test this one next time I'm in Bangkok

Not once did you mention car parking. Is it available? Is it included in the room price?
Surestay and Ibis have free parkings. La Petite Salil doesn't
@ Too little too late
These are off season rates. Add another $40 or $50 USD per night during the high season.
Yes it depends on the season and it depends on the day of the week too...
好貴,難怪服務咁好😂
Not really expensive...
what is that music in the background?
It depends when. At what time?

@@WanderlustReports thank you so much !
@karlvolkert9024 My pleasure!
You really dislike that yellow tea! 😂😂😂 I’m a coffee guy and don’t know anything about tea

I would get rid of the music 😢painful to the ears.
I get that. In new videos, I've made it less noisy.
Lipton Tea is garbage Dude.
Absolutely! 😁
