Customers queuing on arrival is disgraceful. Low cost (wages) reception staff are readily available in Thailand. There is no excuse for long queues.

You missed the positive points such as a) free shuttle boat ride to IconSiam, b) next to the pier where you can take River Express Public boat (very cheap fare) to travel to the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, and all locations along the river, c) walking distance to Talat Noi, the old neighborhood next to Chinatown with several charming cafe and local shops, d) next to Riverside arcade where you can take the evening River Cruise, e) easy access to Express Way to get in/out of Bangkok or transit to airports. You can't beat the location. I would stay at these hotels along the river, e.g., the Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-La, the Peninsular (just opposite), the Millennium Hilton (opposite), and this hotel, over those hotels next to BTS in busy shopping areas.

Lose the music drives you mad. Just a suggestion. Every hotel is basically the same.if you not in your room apart from sleeping it really does not matter.

I'm always amused that people want to be in proximity to Icon Siam. I'd pay extra to get away. Great reviews (and your accent makes it perfect 😂)

SPAM beware. 1:00 it take 18 minutes to walk to Chon Nosi OR Sala Deang BTS station. This is a lie, I stayed in Silom, Sathon area many times so I knew the area well. Go to Google map and search for Chon Nosi and Sala Deang you will see how far from this two BTS stations. I stop watching after he said about Chon Nosi/Sala Deang.

You have done review of this hotel at very bad time ... Because beginning of raining season otherwise beach won't look so low tide and breakfast review has to be done early morning . I have stayed this hotel in mid march, it was AMAZING from beach, tide to breakfast quality

I heard that the glass wall is useful for men wanting to keep an eye on their guest to make sure she's not emptying his wallet while he's answering the call of nature. I think it's just to let natural light into the washroom.

I been in Bangkok at list 30 times- i think the location are more important nowadays. 5 - 4 stars . . And that in because of the trafik 24/7. . . . Bangkok have so many food places. You go out you hotel an see Bangkok :) I love bacon 😅

Been there, not the best location

I studied 5 stars in Pattaya .... I chose the Dusit Thani ..... definitely better for the grounds and beach position. Looking forward to my 3 week stay.

I flew with Air France, on this plane, on this route and I was very satisfied with everything. The crew was superlative. On the way back, I flew with KLM. The crew was execrable. Congratulations, Air France, Shame, KLM!

I usually book a hotel based on where I want to be when I walk out in the morning but the Chatrium Riverside is my favorite when I'm in Bangkok for just a day or two. The large balcony overlooking the Chao Praya River is a fantastic experience in the late night or early morning. The ferry makes it easy to get to the Saphan Taksin Pier to catch the Sky Train or other ferries. The pool is huge but disappointing because the entire pool is only about 40 inches (1 meter) deep. Rooms used to be available for $100 in high season but last year I was paying $150 or $200.
