A show I haven't seen since early reruns at the tail end of the 1960s when I was in junior high. I am revisiting old shows that I have dim but fond memories of from my earliest days of watching television. I have just finished all the episodes I could find of Route 66 & The Rebel Johnny Yuma. This first episode of DG was great! Thanks for making them available.
The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis (1959-1963) will be good and eternally be an classic television show to me now and rest in peace Dwayne Hickman and happy birthday to Bob Denver too.
The "tall" or "small" girl and intelligent hardworking father are awesome to finally watch, after knowing the fun antics involved in finding true love.🎯🤣💗💵🏫📺🌅 Stay safe everyone!
Well, considering minimum wage was .75 cents hour then, that was kind of expensive. A can of soup is only around .89 cents now with Minimum wage at 8.25 in many places.
My brother and I used to watch this show all the time, thank you for the dear memories!😮💖💙🤎🖤💯💥👍❤!

Mother Gillis was in The Bob Newhart Show . She was the Patient that was always knitting . Florida Friebus as Mrs. Lillian Bakeman . Hilarious.....
This was like the coolest show, I remember watching in when I was a little kid, always loved Maynard G Krebs.
They made him more dumb as the show went on😂
Maynard was boss in all of his slovenly splendor!
Long live Maynard!❤👍!
This first episode was aired on Sept. 29, 1959. The day after my eighth birthday... LOL. Always Loved this show. It ran until June 5, 1963.
I was 61/2 years old.
SeanVplayer I had just turn 4.

A very innocent age. Thanks for posting!
my mother has mentioned this TV Series,i have never seen it,i know the actors but not the show,i look forward to watching it,thanks for uploading
I grew up with this show, when we only had 2 channels
I never knew Maynard could play piano on this show. And Gershwin Toons to boot. LOL
Dobie's mother is played by Florida Friebus who was Mrs. Bakerman on The Bob Newhart Show who also worked in a grocery store at the check out stand.
No kidding? I love Bob Newhart!
Lol, that Dobbie and Maynard in the crime film scene was just hilarious.
In kindergarten we watched this (re-runs?), Johnny Quest, and Gemini Space Walks.
Surprised Maynard was allowed to wear a dirty sweatshirt with holes in it to school. Loved this show as a kid.
Even as a child, I marveled at the scriptwriting.
not this script,,,,very poor
The characters are endearing.
Ahhh, the good ol' Bijou Theatre...what with its Jackpot Night and nine foot wide movie screen.
Poor Maynard!
Well, movie screens are back to 9 foot wide at these new theatres. So they can pack more movies in at one time!
thanks for the posting
1950's great era..
Had no idea he passed away. Used to love watching re-runs of this on Nick in the 80s
There's this thing called work, W-O-R-K!
man love. this show
Tuesday Weld was such a cutie ;)
She had just turned 16 when the series started. Great young actress.
逗比哈哈,高英可上学的,没想到这里可以看全集还有字幕,赞!

I watched that piano segment again,,, it was faked, his hands werent even where they needed to be at certain pitch times. LOL
Okay, that twist ending actually got me
Dobie's dad was also Don Hollinger's dad in season 5 of That Girl.
Early T V comedy. Talented cast. Many came from the theater Not like the crap today
Great fun!
Soup 2 cans for 19 cents
19 cents is about $1.60 today.

"Work!!"
Dobie. Forerunner of the incel movement.
Dobie Gillis...the OG incel.
Not at all! Dobie was a model gentleman and very respectful.
Move along snowflake
Pretty racy for the 50s. Maynard Bob Denver who became Gilligan on Gilligan's Island. Why cant they make shows like this again.
Creamy girl?!?!? Wtf?
Back when public discourse was not vulgar.
Laugh track not funny huh?
Get a job!!!
A DUMB SHOW,,,,BAD WRITING ,,,,,
And I love Lucy wasn't stupid
