The Bible says he hardens the hearts of those who continue to reject him and in their hardness and unbelief THEY continue to be wicked, not God. John McArthur read that to you straight from the Bible. God gives us chance after chance but there is a point when he quits contending with us. So you can take that up with God because he is GOD. He gave his only begotten son to die a horrible death.. He pored out his wrath in full measure on him for us.. We didn't deserve that..What more do you want? What America wants is sexual perversion and to continue to kill the most innocent. What are you misunderstanding?

@@fredmiller6166 i don't need to read what anyone else said. I read the Bible. God is forknowing and ALL knowing. He has mercy on whoever he pleases. He owes us nothing and he pours out his wrath on whoever her chooses and he blesses whoever he chooses. God is holy and righteous and only he truly knows man's hearts. Judgment is his. He already knows who will accept him and who will reject him. He gives those who reject him ample time to change their minds knowing they will not, while he is long-suffering for the lost and the elect. His plan is playing out in whatever way he has chosen and the Bible says he has given those who do evil continually over to that evil. There is the TRUE Church and the FALSE church and I find truth in God's word, period.
Every day things get worse and worse..God is right on time.

He is not just exposition preaching, he is teaching biblical obedience. Know what the Lord is saying, being what God wants us to be, and doing what the Lord wants us to do. Thanking the Lord Pastor John for His Word and the Spirit of God.
It is quite lovely that the decisions of which books were to constitute the Bible were made by the Roman-Christian politicians in 225 CE. And of course, they had the vision for all the ages to come !

Below, I have provided how sins were remitted in the gospel of the kingdom and forgiven in the gospel of Christ (gospel of the grace of God). I have also explained how salvation was achieved in each gospel.
GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM - Before Christ's Ministry:
SINS - were remitted by the sacrifice of animals.
SALVATION - was by works and belief in God and following the Law of Moses, that the priests taught.
GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM - During and after Christ's Ministry:
SINS - were remitted by "confessing their sins," during water baptism (Matthew 3:6), and belief (Acts 10:43) in Jesus Christ as their Messiah and King.
SALVATION - was by works and striving till the end and keeping the Law of Moses. This gospel was taught by Jesus (while on earth) and Peter and the 11.
GOSPEL OF CHRIST (GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD) that ONLY Paul taught:
SINS - of the entire world were forgiven on the cross.
SALVATION - is by believing the gospel of the death, burial, and resurrection.
Amen! Pastor John is one of the most Biblically sound pastors of our day. There are way too many immature Christians out there who think that electing certain people will save our nation from itself. We have pseudo Christian politicians who give lip service to GOD,but are not his children. Many Christians are rejoicing with the Supreme Court's overruling of Roe vs. Wade. All they did was to allow individual states to decide whether to allow abortion or not. This will only further divide our country. They completely ignore the fact that abortion ends a human life while still in the womb. Purposely taking the life of another innocent human being is called murder and murder is illegal in all 50 stated!
Abortion is not murder in every situation, the word refers to termination of pregnancy in every situation. Therefore *some* 'abortions' such as in the health of the mother at risk, we would not have a problem with. It's when people use abortion as a form of birth control that it should not be done.
I don't even think making it outlawed entirely would fix things now, there would be fighting no matter what.
@@troywright359 you have a point and I believe if I had to make the decision between the life of the mother and the life of an unborn child, I would have to decide to spare the mother's life. She also may have other children who would not have their mother, and her husband. That said, I firmly believe you are right in saying there will be fighting no matter what. Only God can save us from His wrath.

What was impressive to me from this message. He had the chance to present the truth to a group of conservatives who many probably have never heard a clear presentation of the true gospel. I pray many of these leaders the Holy Spirit will perform a work of regeneration in their hearts and that those that are not saved will come to a saving knowledge of our Lord and Jesus Christ

I have just now, after listening to this sermon realized how easily I sinned and how often. THE GOD has shown me my own burning. I have just prayed for forgiving grace from OUR LORD JESUS. And all this time I had thought I was a Christian because I believed in JESUS. I was that kind that JESUS kept keeping me from the dark side. I had read many versions of the Holy Bible. But nothing convicted me until toward the end of the sermon I saw Jesus and my sins being judged and I wept as I saw JESUS wash my stupidity and sins away with HIS BLOOD. I ask that those of you reading this comment pray for me to have the strength to keep up with my repentance. I WAS BURNING UNTIL JESUS PUT OUT MY FIRE WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT. The Holy Spirit has opened Pastor John's mind to have a full understanding of the whole Bible and what it actually teaches. !
Well, as I sometimes agree with John McArthur, he still is a futurist.
The Bible is a spiritual book of spiritual food for born of the spirit believer, and also the only 100% accurate history book meaning that its prophecies are revealed in an allegorical way through events that have, are and will occur.
Preterism and futurism were created over 4 centuries ago to counteract the Reformation, which was responsible for pulling out many countries from spiritual ignorance.
Recommend you to read “Romanism and the Reformation by the Standpoint of Prophecy “ by Henry Grattan Guinness
And the study guide “The Book of Revelation End Times Prophecy” by Charles Jennings.
Both books are a must. God bless.

I pray for Pastor John and I thank God for allowing this man to being here not just for today but for 40 yrs before that...I recall driving to work 30 yrs ago and I would listen to Pastor John and J. Vernon Mcgee and listening to these gentlemen made me look for a church with those Biblical teachings , the love for Christ Jesus where they put God first, if you got your toes stepped on while listening oh well...was a blessing...how other way do you learn and are able to grow in the direction you needed to go and grow !!! Dear Pastor McArthur, thank you for speaking the truth of the Word. The remnant of the church is out here listening to you, in the Word daily and asking for the strength of God to get us through these days in order to do His Will. Keep preaching truth, thank you, we need to hear you speak the Word of truth, so please do not stop. Just as Elijah was discouraged with the threats of Jezebel and wanted to die thinking he was the only one left that believed, please know you are not the only one left who believe in THE Truth, there are still those of us "out here" listening to Him, walking with Him daily and needing to hear from pastors such as yourself who are NOT afraid of man or what man can do but fear ONLY God. Thank you for being this kind of servant of our blessed Lord Jesus Christ, God our Father and His Holy Spirit who guides us.

@@lookup8297 I live in Idaho. Very pro-life state. We are mainly Mormon and “Christian.” We seem to celebrate gay pride month. I know too many Christian’s that have bit the dust and now believe in gay marriage.

Thank you Dr. MacArthur for this teaching. A time to draw closer to our God. I came to know the Lord in the '70s. A totally different time in our country. Now after years of being saved, I am recommitting my personal life to following God, and being a light to others.

For some people that think the Old Testament is of no importance now , they are missing out the balance of Adonai God . He does expect obedience and He loves us . The true God is the God of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob . Some maybe use their vain imagination to think they know God but unless you get into the whole Word , do you really KNOW Him . I just started to get serious about reading from beginning to end . I was lazy ,but God spoke to me in His still small voice . I read and pray for his guidance . I have learned how forgiving and merciful He is but we have to ask . The outright sins that people boast about today God hates . We best be asking Him to help us discern The Word . Our God , IS an AWESOME He reigns over Heaven and Earth . Thank you pastor and brother John 🇨🇦😇
