Hi Frankie, this is Vito from the Walmart days…I hope you are well these days. I like your content. Could you do a show on what a guitar riff is, and how is it constructed and maybe mention some of the greatest guitarists and the riffs they have produced. Thank you Frankie!
Ok, That's a Great idea. Thanks. Hope you and you wife are doing good. Retirement is nice. I have become lazy as shit. If you are ever my way stop by and visit. Keep in touch
I love the ice cream chord progressions. Im amazed looking at the spiderweb of connections like ties from spanish guitar to surf to spaghetti westerns to james bond and Batman! Look at blues influence in modern metal. Im currently trying to learn the neck better with some jazz chords but even tracing back gypsy jazz gets you to spanish guitar. Blues to rockabilly to rock, its all interconnected. Many kids took those cowboy chords from gene audry and started experimenting.
😊 Bert Weedon (England) ~ 1958 - ~1966 - was a well known Guitar tutor . Many early 60s UK g. Players credited him for his tuition method. -- T V appearances. He only had 2 ? Uk top 20 hits . ' Guitar Boogie Shuffl , Guinchy .
Duane Eddy was an early rock & roll influence for me, followed by the Ventures.
