Build this one for Agony Wolf Media to be used in a series. Based on the design of miniKame. Personality by Agony Wolf Media. download code: eriklely.nl/Qwerty-2DOF-CODE.zip
Wow! This is amazing. The robot looks so cute and the movement is so fluent. I'm planning to make this as one of my school projects, it would stand out compared to others. But I am pretty new to assembling these kind of things. Could you provide some sort of instructions? And the list of parts that you used? I've read some of the replies and saw that I can get the model from your iOlly video, but from looking at it- it looks quite different from this one. Correct me if I'm wrong as I'm not quite experienced. I would appreciate every ounce of help you can provide. -Thank you
Hi Erik. The servos you listed on the BOM for the thingiverse website seem to be sold out. Can you suggest an alternate servo with the same power/punchiness around the same price? This will be the first robot I've ever built and I want to use quality servos but also not spend too much. Thanks!
It is actually relatively cheap to build. Biggest cost of course being the servo's, which also mainly determine the speed. Qwerty can actually jump like the original miniKame.
Hi, great build. What servos did you use? Are they the same as used in the minikame, also have you modified or created your own gaits or are they the ones available on kame github? I love the addition of the head it adds so much character...great job.
If you give me your email I'll send you a description. Yes, same servo's, and code tweaked and changed to my specs, remote via android app or webbrowser.
Erik Lely That would be amazing thank you. Email is newhousetracks4@gmail.com I'm planning my first walking robot build and I love the idea of a quadruped. I also really like the design on your 'quadruped updated' video and I'm still unsure if I want to build 8 or 12 dof on my first go. Any info your willing to share is appreciated, cheers.
Erik Lely Hi. I started printing the mini Kame version for sg90 servos with my son. Would you mind sharing your stl files and code for the gaist please? Thank you! c0diq @yahoo.com
