EC government should have used the money to fix roads, build bridges so children can get to school safely...fix classrooms...replace pit toilets with proper ones..the list is long.

Each bike cost R20K with registration and a box in Capetown,so how can 50 bikes coast 1.3 million instead of 1million,is the 300k for logistical expenses maybe??Good initiative though atleast it's money been put for the benefit of the greater economy.

The more young people get jobs the less crime we have, so tax payer money or not it's good this is exactly what our tax money should be doing. Helping our kids, brothers n sisters get jobs.

@DigiCLIPS283 what is privileged about a motorbike sir? I do not know these people but I do not see a privileged person accepting a bike may be something bigger would make sense. The only thing I'm worried about is that they could sell them because that is what our people do I have seen school children who were give tablets and they sold them which is sad then they come to social media complain about foreign nationals who take their jobs.

There will always be negative people, because that's just the nature of some people and I have just come to accept it.
However this is a feel good story and it shows efforts in reducing the high unemployment rate. Furthermore, more families will be able to improve their living conditions and become partakers in the economy of the country.
