Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback and to Mark for the opportunity. On the last version of my interview a lot of the comments encouraged me to get involved with the Veteran community so I did. The Hard to kill podcast focuses on telling veteran/military/first responders stories and have the hard conversations necessary to inspire change and spread awareness about veterans suicide (which is currently plaguing our community) PTSD and TBI. The goal is to together come up with new creative ways to combat and better treat these issues. Please show your support and subscribe to my UA-cam and follow the show! Semper Fidelis everyone and have a great Memorial Day weekend! 🇺🇸
I thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and for spreading awareness regarding our Veterans and Suicide. It was Memorial Weekend 9 years ago, when I was informed of my Fathers suicide. He was in the Navy and fought in Vietnam. He struggled with mental health after his return from war. He would never talk about much, but I learned of the horrific experiences he went through in the 70’s, from my Mom after his death. This country needs to take notice and invest in all of our brothers and sisters in the Military. They fight for us, we owe it to them to take care of them. Again, thank you for being a voice and I hear you. You matter, and God Bless you!
Thank you for your service. God bless you and your family.

@@Amy-oy5hk Instead of thanking deluded men for their ''service'' (the service being murder of course), you could stop voting for politicians with deep connections to mil-tech companies and destroying your hellhole of a country, sending people to serve as cannon fodder for no reason at all.
I can't believe this video doesn't get more views. The day we will go back to war, you'll wish you listened more to men like this..
sadly, there will be more war. i do believe.
@@getprobed838 there always will be, it's just a matter of time!
It had almost 1mil but he had to take it down to “edit” my curse words i guess
The further into the interview he’s getting, the more agitated he’s becoming. The leg tremors are bigger, the stress ball is getting a major work out, his forehead is wrinkling for longer periods of time. There’s an edge to his voice. Poor guy 😢.
PTSD is real.....its very painful
Ptsd you're witnessing ❤
My husband is a combat veteran. He acts exactly like this. Speaks just like him. Same personality. You can tell he’s a little on edge talking about it how much he pauses and his legs shaking. Have to have a lot of patience with these men but they are truly good men.

Thank you Nick. Could listen to you for hours - with tears, sadness and a great respect. Peace buddy.
To the ones that come home, you are our truth angles and we honor you. To the ones that didn't come home, you carry a piece of all of us in gratitude.
Thank you to the men that serve our country. You are the true heroes.
My heart goes out to you. My father was in Army as lieutenant special forces in Vietnam. The bravest man. He was super fucked by that experience regardless of how much treatment he did in the VA. He killed himself ten years ago. I’m so glad he is at peace! I love him and honor him more than any human.
I'm so sorry for your loss.
I am glad you renewed this so I can find it.
Not a new video, but this is one of the best interviews in his channel
We know. The description literally says it’s a repost
Thanks brother
@@user-ko6zp7bu6pnot a lot of people read the description man chill lmao , cuz I don’t read it but I did know it was a repost cuz this was one of my fave interviews
I seen it before
I agree
...Yeah... I probably wouldn't stop Rambo either after learning his story. Thank you for keeping and passing along his story!
Thank you for sharing your story. I am in tears . I am deeply grateful for your and for ALL the men and women in the military that sacrificed everything to keep us regular people safe.
YOU, sir, are a Rambo yourself! Every person that listens to your story will keep your memory alive.
Thank you Mark, for making this possible.
You are doing a great job.
It appears that he was reliving the scariest skirmish as he described it. He probably doesn't sleep well at night. This veteran will probabky be effected by his war experience for the rest of his hopefully long life. Let's pray that over time, the freshness of the horror will gradually lessen.
God bless this man and Rambo. I’m so glad he’s here on US soil to tell his story. This man should be protected period, he’s a treasure.
This man sacrificed himself of his own free will. Show some respect! Regardless of the politics involved, he is a human being. Thank you for your service! Take care Mark 💕
Indeed with out men like him we are doomed as a country for military support just like are police force 🙏🏼🇺🇸
This poor man is not well. Needs help but no doubt won't get it.
@@georgemaxwell4984he’s doing better than 80% of men I think he’ll be fine
He sacrificed him self and innocent people (civilians in Iraq, etc ) for lies.
@@thomasserein9110 indeed all wars are lies it about greed but respect this man and all the others over a 100 years who fight for freedom and defend you and me from other countries who wish to do harm .. ask your self where would our country be without men who dedicate themselves ti protect soldiers and the police force and firemen 🤷🏼♀️
Im 40 and this dudes awesome! Thanks for your service and stories!
I guess this in honor of memorial day.
I always go back to this one. I suppose it's a snippet in time of a mind so different then mine. What a trooper
Great stories!
Nick is fantastic at articulating his emotions well almost to the point I can feel them.
Thank you to ALL women, men, spouses and families who serve the US! 🇺🇸
This is my favorite interview on your channel
I love the added holiday uploads 🤗
The stories of the IED’s just break my heart. Our men and women don’t deserve their dirty and cowardly warfare.
What a profound telling of your experience Nick.
I await the rest of your story.
Thank You for your service to our country. Thank You for honoring the memories of the men who shaped you and were your battle mates.
I appreciate you Nick.
God bless you and keep you in the palm of His hand.
I’d love more veteran stories!!

I salute you my friend. I have the utmost respect for you and all military personnel. Y’all are what it’s all about. You’re all the reason we’re free and alive. My heart goes out to each and every one of you. Y’all have made sacrifices we civilians can’t even begin to imagine. And to see pieces of trash disrespecting you and not being thankful for you literally makes me sick. I love you all and wish there was more I was capable of doing for all of you.
Thanks, Peace,and love !!!!

Thanks for your story.
Salute to you sir
Nick God bless you and thank you for your service! Thank you for sharing these stories I know some of them were very hard to tell!
You let us civilians know what happens when you are out there and the most dangerous things you must do to stay alive and move forward!
At 21 I didn’t know shit but I had a drive to do what I need to do.
But the courage and the strength and the wisdom you had at that time is unbelievable! I have a real honor and respect for you Nick! Again I thank for your service and making it back home!!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you for your service Nick!
It's good to have first hand recounts.
There are other people speaking up about the true nature of war and how its organised. Its sad so many people keep getting used as fodder for the war machine. I would imagine without the weapons people would find they have a lot more in common than not. 🙏
Facts… took a long time for me to understand that but I get it now.
I can totally see why the wound want to keep Rambo's story alive Nick. I think the story you told about his family resonates with many people. Good stuff. Prayers and thanks to you and your friends for keeping our country safe. 💯🙏🏼❤️
I was also in sixth grade when 9/11 hit. My cousin served in Iraq as a machine gunner and he saw some bad stuff. This hits home, respect, Nick

Correct
Omg...I wrote my message before I finished the interview and found out that she passed away through the comments...is it true? My heart is aching and hurt
Can really hear the NE accent. Love it. Close enough to the NY Metro accent to give a sense of Home.
EDIT: the taliban adjusted to US tactics for two reasons: (1) In a guerilla war, the side that doesn't adjust loses; and (2) The Pakistani ISI was heavily supporting them, including training (as much as they could), logistics, intelligence and tactics. But notice: if the Taliban are adjusting to US forces, it always made them REACTIVE. This is NOT where you want to be if you're fighting - you want the OTHER guy to be adjusting to YOU. That's how you lead him to making choices that result in his own demise.
EDIT #2: this guy is, spiritually, practically family. Thank You, God, for guys like this. It gives me hope.

Nick I grew up in Portland m military sav😮
I didn't go to the military BUT I graduated from THE ONLY public military school in America back in 01. It was called Cleveland N.J.R.O.T.C. it was really a cool school, we had retired military teachers and we had this one guy named Master Sergeant Rowe. He was a marine and he was a BAD ASS!! Anyways, you know how ppl talk about HS and how they skipped school, partied, etc? Well we did all that stuff too but everyone that graduated from there will talk about their experience and how it helped us out in life. Everyone walked away with life lessons!!! Not just my class, EVERY class. The school is shutdown now.
Are these being re-released?
Description says he censored stuff
Wait till you dad passes away and you will realize even more than you could’ve imagined how the lesson he thought you that was overlooked. Sorry you’re a marine though lol. All love her brother. 11B airborne.
These are the guys you want to fight when theres no other option
Why does this have so little likes

What happened to Rebecca? Just realized I haven’t seen a Rebecca video in a while.
Mark decided to stop interviewing her because she was too much. Too unstable, too unwilling to accept help, too reckless. He made a video about it.

I hope that thru this video that you will get the help you need from real therapist that have been where you've been, seen what you've seen and had to endure. I will pray for you without ceasing as well as all the military that have had PTSD/TBI and the other mental distress that war has caused. I do support enlisted and veterans as they are the back bone of our country.
Can my country invade another country to support my freedom as well? Or is it just Ameritards that have the right to murder?

Dude is HIGHLY nervous or hiding something.
Shits hard to talk about dude.
Classic signs of PTSD. And yes, he's hiding something, namely that his experiences haunt him and that talking about it makes him relive it. My father has the same, also from the army and most military people with PTSD don't seem to want to burden others with it, especially not on camera to strangers, or they seem otherwise ashamed of it. So, they push it down and suppress it, resulting in nervousness, tics (which he has, too, watch his eyes) shaking, panic attacks, insomnia and other (oftentimes worse) symptoms. It's no joke, PTSD is dreadful and debilitating and this is exactly what it looks like outwardly. If you mean "hiding something" as in "he's acting like this because he's lying about something or he's a shady character", then no, what you see here is trauma manifest, most people would act exactly like this given the same experiences
NICK YOU LOOK SO VERY FAMILIAR… DID YOU SPEND TIME IN CONNECTICUT?!?
