What’s up guys! Here I’m tying the Red Phillips braid to fluro connection knot. Not my favorite, but in a pinch on the boat it’s what I tie.

Could've tied an Alberto in less time and have a much stronger knot

@@sautterfishing You really should. I've done a bunch of testing and the Alberto normally comes in at around 90% of line strength or better. Before I leave the house, I always tie an FG, but out on the water, I go to the Alberto because I can tie it quickly. Most important step that most people leave out is to cinch the Alberto down hard before fishing it. Makes a really small castable knot.
