@@BkBk-gy6vr You'll be hearing the pre-amp valves if you take the xlr out and route it to your monitors via an audio interface but you'll still be hearing the two notes for the cab emulation. There are already 6 cabs loaded into the amp as stock and that's all I use, I never really mess with the software so if you don't enjoy the software it's not necessarily a dealbreaker. Hope that makes sense.

Hey Chris. Excellent video! I've had my eye on the D20 for a while now and am thinking of biting the bullet soon. I'd use it for gigs (particularly when not on IEMs) and also for my UA-cam channel (I think we may have similar channels). What cab do you use this with live and do you think it would be loud enough for when I have to play in a rock band (using the D20 as a pedal platform)? Thanks mate and all the best with the channel! I have a fender amp, which I love. However, I now want that 70s Brit sound: Who Floyd Zepp Clapton. Sheriff44 amps are selling with a third off. I was wondering about hitching it up to a Two-Notes Load Box then Yamaha PA active speakers? Am I being silly?
I actually used the Revv D20 straight into a PA at a gig over the weekend and I loved the sound! Just using an XLR and using the built in TwoNotes cabs! Felt and sounded just like a fender amp to me 👌🏻
I really like it, definitely the most 'amp-like' virtual cab sim i've experienced. I've tried the Neural DSP stuff, Link 6 HX Stomp etc. I actually used the Revv D20 straight through the PA at a gig last weekend and it really sings! Sounds awesome 👌🏻
I’m not entirely sure but hopefully the guys at Revv will be able to answer that! May be worth checking to see if there are any support channels on their website

Absolutely, the clean tone is perfect and it takes pedals really well. No need to worry about it becoming useless in time as you don't have to use the twonotes cab sim software. It also functions as a normal valve amp head.

Especially with the mid-control set below noon (scooping midrange is the key for that black pannel deluxe sound). I haven't run this through an actual speaker cab yet so can't say for sure. But the clean tone using the cab sim/Two Notes Torpedo is very Fender like to me and i've always played Fender amps
looking at this a a gigging amp as well as for home use. OR, an amp less pedal board rig with either an HX Stomp or CabM+. Will I be significantly happier with the Revv?
The Revv gives you the tube amp feel which I’m not sure the others will give you in the same way. Also reacts better with pedals as it’s essentially a traditional amp. It depends whether that’s important to you.

Could you go from the headphone out into Bose computer speakers? This would still have the IR tone, right?

Daft question - does the headphone output have the cabinet simulation or is it only via xlr? I primarily play via headphones these days….
