Just played this in my orchestra class....as a viola player, I can say we’re really well represented in this piece! Probably my favorite thing I’ve ever played.
The top group in my school played this and I’m jealousssss they played a rosin earring zombies from outer space last year too and I’m obsessed with bothhhh! I play viola too!

I can just see the sheet music in my head I love this song so much; learning it on the double bass is such an awesome task, and hearing it all come together sounds so good. I really love how this song gives the bassists a lot of the melody, so I can finally FEEL the song!

@@quirmi_6770Yeah haha, I think my point was mainly just "Omg that's so high, I could never stand something like that." Two years ago, I only ever shifted into 5th position on the viola and I rarely had to do harmonics, so I wasn't well acclimated to higher pitches.
Not sure what you mean by late, since I'm a college student who does this in my free time. I make no money off of this and I don't have a schedule for uploads. I just try to upload every few weeks.

I really enjoyed this piece when I was a senior, like 2 years ago. The orchestra over there now are terrible, they will probably not play this piece 😭

Right! A lot of the time as a bassist I can never tell what song I’m playing becasue it’s all half notes lil
This was the piece I had to play for audition into symphonic, great experience
Brilliant work. Epic in every way. You've earned a new subscriber.⛧🤘
I love the bartok pizz at the end lmao I played this song in orchestra and it was my favorite song ever
My orchestra performed this last winter for the middle school kids and they were like “Woah!” When we played the Bartok pizz lol
playing this for competition this year, very excited!! Ghosts of Brandenburg is our other piece.

I'm imagining a minotaur curator at a museum.
I’m fighting for my life in this piece bruh
Omg relatable. It was so hard as a cellist. What instrument did you play?

That rlly high note was a harmonic, which is just a rlly rlly high note thats an open string
Well, kind of. You have to put your finger super light on the string to play a harmonic

ClassicalHD no, it’s a joke. Minotaur is part of mythology, which is believed to have happened long ago. That’s what I mean by a little late.
