final build tuned out amazing 😍 thank you for making this video!
Glad you liked it!!
As much as I love tools, I really do appreciate tooless designs/systems.
I am looking for a sound card to fit this case, any thoughts on getting one into it?
Which fans are used for exhaust?
looks good, is there a way to install a display later where the dispay is on the touch version?
Yes, I remembered that Hyte said there gonna be LCD kit available for non-touch Y70 at a later date. But it will be a 2k resolutions panel instead of 4K ones that's available on a current Y70 touch, as Hyte is currently having problems sourcing enough 4K panel right now.
I just bought a Hyte Y70 (non-touch), can I upgrade it to a Y70 Touch with the Y60 DIY kit? All of the informational video don't mention the Y70 (non-touch).
As far as I'm aware, the DIY LCD kit is currently not available (yet) for the Hyte Y70 (non-touch). Hopefully we may see it towards the end of the year.
Thanks. Most appreciated.
What is that "lazy susan" rotating stand you're using?

@@Funkykit Sorry, I may have not been clear. I was referring to the rotating circular black "stand" you had the HYTE Y70 sitting on.
Comes with no fans pre installed?
No fans included 😏
Black cables in a $220 case with no fans included... these guys from Hyte have balls 😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡
Why do people go crazy with thermal paste WHY!!!!!!!! I can almost guarantee there was already thermal paste pre applied on that AIO
Not all AIO come with thermal paste pre-applied.
Don't know about specifics for here, but on a lot of these channels parts are reused for different builds or testing, so there's a decent chance the AIO had been used previously and thus didn't have the paste on it. That and some people prefer to use a particular brand or type of paste and will remove any pre-applied paste to use their specific preferred type.
My issue is with the X shape. Even with the pressure from the block spreading it out, that doesn't seem like a pattern that will give full IHS coverage. Better to apply some and spread it manually.
That and applying it before you even install the mobo into the case just seems like asking for trouble. Dust, a stray screw, anything could fall into it. As open as the case is, there's no need to take the risk.
F@#k my wallet
