I’m sorry people told you horror stories about getting off HRT. Education is important when it comes to all this and it’s not the only way. I’ve decided not to do HRT and I’ve found ways as well that keep me happy. It’s not a one size fits all when it comes to our bodies in this stage of life. I think a video on what you’ve done would help many that also choose not to or can’t for whatever reason use HRT. It breaks my heart when women describe the horrors of labor to first time mothers to be. It's cruel. Thank you for being supportive.
Personally, I wish I heard more honest stories about the range of possible experiences. I was unprepared for a not so easy experience and I think I was more traumatized by not knowing. Now, before I go through anything, I plan for a range of outcomes and feel relieved if all goes especially well but better prepared and accepting if any complications arise. I guess it's "each to their own".

That’s been my biggest worry about getting off HRT, that everything is gonna shrivel up like a raisin. Can you please do a designated video on that & the products you are using.

Wishing you and yours a blessed 2024 Melissa... Omgoodness..I have that stack from Trinny... they're old but I'll have to pull them back out ... I remember the horror stories when I was pregnant with my son...they had me terrified to give birth....also, when at 38 I had a full hysterectomy...I did HRT for a couple of years. However, back then Estrogen was a big "if" so I came off my patch. I'm 64 now and have never regretted that decision. You look beautiful! Keep doing you! ❤🙏

I totally understand you not being able to continue with HRT Melissa. I wanted to see how I felt if I came off of my topical oestrogen and to be honest after 6 months I really struggled with sleep and other things. So I have made the decision to go back on it. For me, the positives outweigh the negatives and that's the important thing....,my sleep is back on track thankfully at only 1/2 pump per day.

HRT was very popular in my 50s. But we were told they could blood clots, so I struggled with menopause without medication. Hormone replacement will give you skin that doesn’t wrinkle, your bones are stronger, your vagina doesn’t dry up! My mom used HRT and her period returned in her 50s and heart issues began to happen. HRT prevents aging, but there are side effects! So glad I didn’t use HRT.

I was done menopause by 39, naturally. I did hormone therapy for a year and a half and felt awful. I stopped it..I do have osteoporosis…but I could have been more proactive….I kind of didn’t take it seriously. People tell me I look younger then my almost 68 years….so HRT is not the end all.wishing you a Happy and Healthy New Year!
I had a complete hysterectomy at 45 because of cervix in situ. Only on HRT for a few months. A doctor took me off,told me I did not need. No hot flashes, my skin is good. No problems with sex. “If you don’t use it,you’ll lose it” 😊I also avoid soy products. I suggest do some research if you eat soy. I’m 65
Thank you for this video! I am currently on HRT and had a hysterectomy at 40 to avoid ovarian cancer. My HRT is progesterone based (it has no estrogen). I love listening to your experience because I’m sure i will eventually have to live through going off HRT
