I was devastated and impacted by Hurricane Helene in Georgia, dear Melissa. I lost power early last Friday morning. I lost the running water hours later. I had to struggle when I was in a situation like that. The power came back on this afternoon, but I'm still waiting for the running water to start working again.
Melissa, so glad you and your family are safe honey. My family in Aiken SC have been hit hard. God bless you sweetheart for helping those in need. Prayers for everyone affected by this devastating storm.
Oh wow, my mom, step dad and daughter are in North Augusta and Evans GA. I lived in NA and Evans for 18 years. It's really bad there right now. Praying for ya'll. I live in Raleigh NC now and I was actually born and grew up in Western NC, Franklin. I was there this weekend when that storm hit and thankfully my hometown was spared. But my heart breaks for my fellow WNC family.

Downtown Huntington had a tree uproot and fall and destroy a car with a little one in the back seat...luckily he was little enough that the tree did not go down on him. He was unhurt. Oh my gosh, I am so glad you weren't there when it hit. My son and DIL got out of the area just in time. The power went off and they left and the road behind them collapsed, so we were so thankful they left in time. It just breaks my heart. Love and thanks, Maura!

My father was on our county’s search & rescue squad for over 50 years. Well before cellphones, GPS, and such. They had multiple dogs on the squad filling different roles. Some would search for people (missing children, lost hikers or hunters, etc.), some were cadaver dogs searching for remains. Some could detect certain medical conditions like you mentioned. It is incredible what they can do. You’re so right. We do not deserve dogs. 💗🐾 Thanks for the recommendation!

I’m glad that you’re OK. I’m fine. I am in North Carolina but my cousins in a different area and he had just had knee replacement surgery two weeks ago and now no water and no power. I’ve lived in Florida over 40 years and I’ve lived through many hurricanes, but this one has been unbelievable. I can’t even watch the footage anymore because I cry. My heart hurts for everybody. I have friends in Florida who lost their cars. It’s just a nightmare.💞🙏

I used to watch the games with my mom. My brother, mother, Linda & I even went around the back to where the players come out after the game. They were all dressed up in their leisure suits. Yes, it seems one area gets too much and another gets too little. The stories of people I have become friends with are horrible. Hospital hit. People clinging to roofs. Old people not wanting to leave their homesteads. Yes, we are watching The Bay! I see they just dropped another episode. Oh my yes Charlie Hustle. I watched many a game with him and Johnny Bench when he played for the Reds and my first husband and I lived in Lexington. It was a joy to see him. I loved watching him slide into base! lol. Hi Melissa I’m glad you weren’t hit with the terrible weather situation, but I feel awful for those who were. My sister is in Georgia and it missed her too thankfully (although she was in Vegas when it hit). The tartelette in bloom is a great formula but those who have an extremely cool undertone beware as it’s really warm on me (including the “cooler” shades). The lip colour are all really pretty on you and it’s nice to treat yourself occasionally - I am eyeing the new Nars lipsticks😂. All creatures great and small is back as a new season here in the UK - it’s always really charming and family friendly. Best wishes x
I have the Color Wow spray for frizz, it's ok. I have the stuff for curly hair on order, because my niece said it's good. We shall see! My top layer of hair is straight as a board and curly underneath, aggrevating. Got a Victoria Beckham brown eyeliner and like it! I had a Tartlette in Bloom years ago and returned it. Not sure if I didn't like how it applied or if it was boring😂 In the Mind of a Dog was soooo good!

I can't believe you didn't have the Tartlette in Bloom palette. Gosh, I think I have mine at least 10 years now. I just pulled it out of my palette drawer to put in the downstairs bathroom where I do my makeup. I switch out products and lipsticks, blush etc... with the change in seasons. Dior lipsticks are my favorites and that pink color is so gorgeous on you. I"m not a fan of red lipstick on me, but I do like a deeper pink or berry. Keep safe and take care.

Hi Melissa I’m glad you weren’t hit with the terrible weather situation, but I feel awful for those who were. My sister is in Georgia and it missed her too thankfully (although she was in Vegas when it hit).
The tartelette in bloom is a great formula but those who have an extremely cool undertone beware as it’s really warm on me (including the “cooler” shades). The lip colour are all really pretty on you and it’s nice to treat yourself occasionally - I am eyeing the new Nars lipsticks😂.
All creatures great and small is back as a new season here in the UK - it’s always really charming and family friendly. Best wishes x
I have the Color Wow spray for frizz, it's ok. I have the stuff for curly hair on order, because my niece said it's good. We shall see! My top layer of hair is straight as a board and curly underneath, aggrevating. Got a Victoria Beckham brown eyeliner and like it! I had a Tartlette in Bloom years ago and returned it. Not sure if I didn't like how it applied or if it was boring😂 In the Mind of a Dog was soooo good!

You are right about if you want to wear a brighter color, but not red try pink. I found one by Estee Lauder called Candy. It has a subtle shimmer to it. I may have to get that Dior one though. I was thinking of you and your town and hoped you were all alright. My heart breaks for all the people who lost their lives and their homes. I can't believe you didn't have the Tartlette in Bloom palette. Gosh, I think I have mine at least 10 years now. I just pulled it out of my palette drawer to put in the downstairs bathroom where I do my makeup. I switch out products and lipsticks, blush etc... with the change in seasons. Dior lipsticks are my favorites and that pink color is so gorgeous on you. I"m not a fan of red lipstick on me, but I do like a deeper pink or berry. Keep safe and take care.

It came straight through us in Ga. no damage this time thankfully to our house but we did had to leave and stay in a hotel. You just can't stand it with no ac. Thank you for sharing what you are enjoying this month....much love!
