I’m so upSet at how underrated they are like please I miss them so much, and they have amazing songs they deserve SO MUch more recognition

A decade ago when I was 13, I heard this song on the show Chuck and fell in love with it. Even now every time I hear it, I cry like a 23yo baby
I saw something different listening to this than the video portrayed. People that see ghosts, and see them wandering lonely and aimlessly in every day life. Watching people going about their days, unable to feel, and it being so sad, that the two people in the song lament for them.
this song is my childhood song, to this day, it gave me some feeling I dont understand but I like this feeling. and will always come back and listen once in a while

I more so think it's kinda a ghost metaphore. Like how people grow old and have their "dead kid" that only is remembered in one's past. And the singer is speaking how these people who now may seem bitter, old and "grown up" but the singer remembers this person's "dead kid"
